    Michael does what all great teachers do, they drive home the same point multiple times through different analogies. This art has been lost with our quick click culture, this was standard practice in the early 1900’s. People would read and draw parallels to their points drawing on interesting history. What I don't understand is why they think self custody of bit coin as your primary asset/property is far safer from malign actors... it's like concentrating your saving account, house value, stocks, bonds and cash all in one convenient spot for an asshole to take given enough encouragement - kneecapped, gun to child head etc use your imagination. The only thing a criminal can steal from me at present is the cash in my leather wallet. BITCOIN turns every twobit criminal into a potential devastating blow with the potential to literally take EVERYTHING you have!! How is this safe? Safe from the government but not from the guy around the street corner holding a knife to your childs throat? Bitcoin simply transfers the totalising power of the state and banks, to any criminal with some intelligence and brutality. HOw is this progress??

      You've come to the same conclusion as some Eastern spiritual traditions. This is why the same patterns are found everywhere- in nature, form, sound, music, geometry, math, etc. All born of the same energy source.

      No God is the creator of energy or the ultimate source of it. Not energy itself. Dont get the creator confused with the creation. GOD HAS A MIND AND THINKS AND MAKES DECISIONS AND HAS CHARACTERISTICS.

  • @mynameis5427
    @mynameis5427 Год назад +5

    To answer your preliminary question, "What is energy?", you have to understand the universe from the most fundamental point. Energy is un-manifest, non-cartesian, potential. Michael does a great job of giving examples of the mechanized manifestations of energy (ie: horse's motion, boxer's punch, firearm's bullet, bomb's explosion, etc.). Note that these examples are all projections (A comes from B). These examples of mechanized projections are analogous to pure "energy" and its projection(s). For example, take a heavyweight, championship boxer. When the boxer is sleeping, he is akin to energy. He has all of the potential to deliver a knockout blow, but he is in his most stable form while sleeping. Once he is placed in the ring, the bell is rung, and the match begins ( ie: various temporal and spatial conditions satisfied), then the knockout punch can be delivered. The punch is a manifestation/release of energy, but it is not energy itself. Similarly, take a bomb for example. Prior to initiating the fission process, the ball of uranium within the bomb is akin to energy. The explosion is the release of that energy. You could even go so far as to say that the explosion is the "loss" of that energy. Now let's examine energy by itself without the use of material examples like a boxer or a bomb. From the prior examples, you can see that energy is a condensed, stable entity. You can also see that the release/manifestation/loss of that energy is an entity that expands spatially through time. Energy is timeless and space-less. When energy is released/manifest/lost, it actually gives birth to time and space. Energy is potential. It is the potential for all of the machinations of the cosmos.
    So far as Bitcoin is concerned though. Bitcoin in cold storage is akin to energy. Bitcoin in motion is akin to the loss of that energy. Just like an atomic bomb, the world moves in its wake.
    I hope that clears some things up.

      U.S. missionaries say that it's easier to find converts overseas because over there, at least, the people already believe in spirits and the spiritual world. That's more than half the battle. Now just pick a God. Michael is well received (or at least listened to / tolerated) by audiences who are already tuned into crypto and/or already have their eyes open to the impending collapse of fiat currencies. Not sure if FIRST educating or trying to convince a mixed audiences of the latter, before touching on bitcoin, would be much fun. Better to stick with niche (bitcoin/money) forums. In my opinion.

    That conversation was so incredibly awesome! I love hanging out with people who are way smarter than me. I never want to be the smartest guy in the room. I love to learn from people smarter than myself. Iron sharpens iron or so I've heard. If I were to hang out with a bunch of stupid people, it would just make me more stupid than I already am. So, thank you for broadcasting this thought provoking high level sharp conversation. I really needed it after being assaulted, and gaslit, and misinformed by the government and 'education' system and the religious cult I was raised in, Jehovah's witnesses to put a name on it, which I feel is child abuse. I'm a child of God I suppose even though I'm getting rather long in the tooth and I should've learned better by now, but I have to start somewhere. Ya know what I mean? I'm trying to redeem myself and re invent myself but it's so hard and I don't know if my work will ever really produce a happy ending but I must keep trying. I really don't know what else to do. I've got a long way to go that's for sure, so thank you for trying to get me to think about these things more deeply. I was recently thinking about the word, generator, and it's root word gene, or genesis, or generation. Which is strange because we can't create energy or destroy it, we can only transduce one form into another. But where does all the energy for the entire Universe come from? How is it that all these stars are so bright and give off so much energy all day and all night and seldom burn out? Is God paying the electric bill? Is there a energy source feeding the Universe that is self sustaining, whatever that means? How is it there's so much energy in the Universe, where does it come from, and where does it ultimately go and what's the point of it all? I drive myself nuts with these unanswerable questions. Like, why am I here, and not somewhere else, and for how long? Then what happens? Do I just take an eternal dirt nap when I"m over, or is there some purpose behind it all that I can't understand yet because I"m too ignorant? I hope I figure it out before I die, but what if there's no way to figure it out until I die? Life is just so god damn hard and unfair, or is it all perfectly fair, and I get what I deserve? I really don't know. I'm aware my actions have consequences through time, but it's impossible to account for all the unintended consequences and manage my desires and fears all at the same time. I really suck at this whole life thing to be honest.

    Bits & Sats
    Please explain to people the unit of account on the Bitcoin (BTC) network.
    The new world currency is denominated in Bits.
    One coin is divided into one million bits (BIT). One bit has a hundred sats (aka bitcents or simply cents).
    Therefore, the dollar and the bit will reach parity when Bitcoin is equivalent to $1 million.
    Let's get used to expressing the value of things in bits and sats (cents).
