No face, no talking, no music, just pure railway romanticism. And many frames a perfect photo, worthy of putting at a wall. Thats what makes your creations standing out.
yes, this is my video style; I want you to see and hear the train; not my face or voice
@@doc7austin I particularly love this little pieces of information that you include about the route you are going.
yes, this is my video style
@@doc7austin That's a very good way to do it in my view.
@@doc7austin warum werden in Dänemark pässe kontrolliert.
There is something about this film, the way it has been made and edited which I really love. Brilliantly done, yet not too polished.
The train and its environment is fascinating and just reinforces my growing desire to travel again and by train.
In the EU and UK, we are very lucky to have such good railways overall compared to other parts of the world and all we seem to do is complain about them. Yet when they are not running or we cannot travel such as during the Covid19 lock downs, we miss them.
So this is a touching film on so many levels, of an interesting train.
Another perfect travelogue. Thankfully I’ve already travelled on a return journey from Stockholm to Alvesta so I know it’s far more beautiful a ride than you suggest!
What a great train trip, looks like some very nice scenery along the way. Thanks for a great video, and for taking me along.
Thankyou, yet again, for this informative and entertaining train trip.
Great Video... Gretings from Erlangen in Bavaria (Franconian Switzerland) ... Greatings Manni
We love The Doc because he always shows us good food!
Thank you. Amazing and patient filming.
Thank you for the sounds of the train ...miss it so much 😊😊
When i was going to ride on this train from Malmö to Berlin I watched this video and it was very enjoyable and there for you made my trip way more excited, very nice content man👍
I must take this train next 19.9 hamburg malmo, then back to kopenhaghen for ferry to oslo
A journey to remember for days to come. This perhaps is a masterpiece after your journey through Siberia. Of late your vlogs were getting a little ordinary, but this one stands out as a unique train experience.
wow what a great video, thanks for all the insane impressions from the 3 countries. Greetings from Bavaria
Thank you for a great video ! Impressive scenery, and fascinating to see how well the train works.
Ecellent explanations guiding us all the way to Stockholm,no musid,I love the noise of the train it's a bit like if we were on it!This is a very nice video....Bonjour a tous de la Ville de Québec au Canada!
One of the best videos I have ever seen on youtube, informative, helpful, entertaining andas others have said no bloody musik to spoil it, Well done and thank you.
What a nice video! No music and no talking. Impressive. I liked this. Thank you for sharing!
As always a wonderful video, perfectly shot and edited ... Your travel videos are a nice consolation, as I miss traveling so much.
Wieder ein total cooles Bahnvideo! Vielen Dank !!!
Thank you so much for the many informative train documentaries you produce, good introductionary music too.
thank you enjoyed this interesting journey very much
Great footage and well-thought calm editing. Thanks for this extraordinary informative and nicely crafted video.
Thanks for another beautiful railway film - fantastic. Atmospheric and informative as usual.
Excellent trip. Thank you from Gabriola Island, British Columbia, Canada.
Lovely film and very informative in a special way. I will watch it again!
Today I'll travel to Poland 😁
I'm glad to see your video!
I hope this is just the beginning for the return of the trains in Europe. I also do hope it will be much cheaper because now you can find much cheaper tickets with planes.. Trains are not just for rich bitches!
Super infornative ! Will call this a documentary . Great job as usual.
Fantástico video, he aprendido mucho, eres muy bueno contando historias cinematográficamente. BRAVO.
Fantastic! Thanks so much! Loved it! Keep up the good work, thanks!
Thank you so much for this video! I'm thinking about taking the same journey in the opposite direction! You have given me something to think about. Maybe I'll add an overnight in Copenhagen or Hamburg....
Thanks for a great trip!
What a brilliant and very informative video, stunning!!!
Thank you for this cool and nice ride , i have enyojed it !
Very nice and pleasant journey, thx!
Looks like a fun and interesting ride. Love the 112 loco
Excellent video! It gave us an accurate sense of what the trip was like. Thanks for not having music. And for not having to speak to us. Well done. FYI. Minnesota is the land of 10,000 lakes. (And they've counted them.) :-)
VIELEN LIEBEN DANK...FRIEDEN und FREIHEIT...
I love it! Thank you for showing us!
Great video again, thank you 😊
Thank you for not sleeping the night. Your video is differentiated, very revealing and informative.
Love the style of filming and editing you do it your own way...not like many others do it. And you been to Stockholm a lot of times. That's worth a sub 👍😎🇸🇪
that is nice to hear; thank you for your feedback
Very good and informative video about trail travelling. Love it.
Small note: the Tunnel under Øresund wasnt just built to accommodate the flights out of Kastrup Airport but also to allow ship traffic to pass through that couldnt pass under the bridge part
I wish you were right but you aren't. Larger vessels (like bigger cruise ships) have to take the detour around Zealand (via Øresund/Helsingør).
thank you very much. most enjoyable
very nice film i still remember when praha malmö was available on rail...this train wont survive long so good its documented.....;)
Tack för resan ! Jag bor I Melbourne sedan länge! 😁👍🇸🇪🇦🇺
Berlin's metro is soo😍😍 and its Hauptbahnhof is omg💕💕
ALL your Trip Reports are FANTASTIC!👏👍
Next weekend I'll try the PKP Intercity from Berlin to Gdansk via Poznan and the IC Premium in 1st class from Gdansk to Warsaw!😜
Great video! Great scenery!
This is a dreamride for nostalgic railway lovers and beautiful presented.
What a pity that style and service have gone in european railway traveling, but on the other hand no one's willing to pay what it would cost to have proper sleeping and dinner cars on a train like this.
But anyway, a great presentation of a wonderful journey with many, many useful informations. Thank you very much 💐
Love from india 🇮🇳
Great. Jeg vil helt klart gerne afsted på den rute. Tusind tak for de mange gode oplysninger. De var alle til en rigtig god hjælp😇
Greetings from Szczecin :)
Two things: Departure from Gesundbrunnen + the journey via the Außenring was due to construction work at Spandau.. And 112 166 is not a DB loco, it's owned by WFL since May '20
i have read that WFL has just rented the loco, not bought it
It used to be a novelty taking the train and seeing the carriages being loaded on the ferry at Nyborg before the bridge was built! Progress. Nice journey!
Yeah, I remember the sleeper service from Copenhagen to Frederikshavn. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't prevent the passengers from waking up and nearly falling out of their bunks during the shunting manoeuvres in Korsør and Nyborg. But the ferry ride itself was very nice.
One Of the best Train Videos Thumps up !
Really good mix of information. Great video. 😀
Damn, you're fast - this line has only been introduced about 2 months ago! Old-school traveling at it's best. I NEED to try this one!
No it was some yars ago.
Atleast from sweeden it was introduced like some years ago
Fantastic job
That must be the only train where you can enjoy the rides across the great bridges with the windows open :-)
Loved this video. Felt I was travelling.
Looks cosy with the night light
Wow this trainset is a huge downstep comparing to OBB nightjet
Great video I like too much, greatings from north of Chile!!!!
This is the best video on your channel! Way to go!
better than the transsiberian railway videos?
@@doc7austin I love those too) They are excellent) Thank you for doing this)
Lovely to watch
I watched the entire video at my first visit to your channel. I reckon you're a heck of a tuber!
Nice film, thank you sir!
Edit: 55:25 that's where I live, cheers and nice to meet you!
looks expensive property
WOW! Beautiful!
A perfect videography again!
Thank' for all video!!
A very nice video!!
Great job!
Beautiful
A great video, thanks
Very nice and interesting video.
Thank you! Nice video! Two corrections tough: 1) Finland, not Sweden, is known as the country of 1000 lakes. 2) the population of Malmö is ca 350.000.
Excellent video. We are planning a trip to Europe in 2022 and I want to take this tain journey. I am appalled at the non-working air conditioning and poor cleaning. Thank you for this insight.
wow. i travelled via the ferry sassnitz-trelleborg a couple of times...
After a ride from Berlin to Hässleholm I just have to note that this trip took 15 hours. In Germany we had to wait alot of times for other trains which had the right to overtake us. The train should be better prioritised especially for the German network.
In terms of comfort I can recommend this train.
11:18 We also have a high speed line equipped with the LZB cable system in spain, the Madrid-Seville line which was the first to open, but it's being replaced with the more up-to-date ETCS system soon. I'm surprised to see that Germany keeps using so much LZB
Super nice video😊
yes; i like sweden
Great footage of a train I was supposed to be travelling on this summer, but being from the UK we are banned from going anywhere. We can fly directly to some countries, but doing what I would normally do, travelling by rail from the UK to all over Europe is impossible now. We left the EU, we got covid19. Now i am paying a heavy price by not having the freedom to just go by train when and where I want.
I have over €1500 in vouchers that I don't think I will be able to use.
So for now, I can only see my railway from my sofa.
Great video
Beautifully photographed! May I suggest, though, that you get an external mic for your phone, with a windshield (dead cat). I mount a Shure MV8 on the lightning socket of my iPhone 12. Android requires an MV8 Plus with a USB-C cable. Both powered by the phone.
O călătorie fascinantă în Lumea glorilor 🌐🚅🚦🚂🚞🚞🚞🚞🌿🌿
A very nice video !
Liking this after first 30 Seconds!
Truly great!
Very good footages and explanations! Though at the beginning I feared the intro music would last the whole video what thankfully was not the case. ^_^
After I ce watched it all, wanna watch it again
Super 👍🏻
In a couple of years this line will get shortened with a Fermen brigde from
Denmark to Germany.
Nice music btw.
I like how he laid an egg in his berth!
Absolutely brilliant post superb editing and filming looking forward to our next journey together
Very nice video, super informative! I have to correct you on Malmö a bit though. The population here is around 370 000, not 1,3m. Other than that, very nice video!
Very nice video. Seems that the train isn't as convenient if one is taking it all the way from Berlin, the trip was insanely slow! From Hamburg makes sense if going to Malmö or Stockholm. I wonder why the Danish stop exists at all, it seems to be just very inconvenient, the stop in Copenhagen central station or at least the airport would have been much more useful. The lack of AC in some cars seems unacceptable, specially for a train that runs mainly on summer
The station at Copenhagen Airport is vastly underdimensioned, with the frequent regional/öresund-trains and Danish intercity-trains, there simply isn't track-space for a night-train having to wait long time for people to board/unboard. Copenhagen Central is also nearing its capacity limit, and the train would have to reverse driving direction - complicated for a loco-hauled train. All together, Høje Taastrup is clearly the best solution, there is space and time for a long stop and it is only 15 min. with regional train from the central station.
Thank you for the history.... and the geography and.... I hope that you might become an R G S member, if you kindly keepy up... 👌...
Thanks for staying awake for the most part of the journey :) The footage is absolutely amazing! Would you disclose the movie camera type you were using?
iPhone 11
@@doc7austin amazing sunrise/sunset
Nice video. Just know though it was after 2019 that the journey got rerouted via Jutland due to the ferry service stopping. This year is the first since 2014 where we've had ANY night trains going through, let alone stopping in Denmark at all, apart from a few specialty charter trains organized by a Swedish Newspaper.
Also all I can tell you is that those 10+ years of German bureaucracy were added into the time table. The original planned opening date of the fixed link (which was planned to be a bridge at the time) was 2018. And now its 2021 and they've only just now started preperatory work on the area that is to be the home of the tunnel.
And I agree with you, they should make the train stop at the Copenhagen Airport. I mean that station is also much closer to downtown Copenhagen than Høje Taastrup is which has the unfortunality of being located on the very edge of the western suburbs in an area full of ghettos dotted along the railway which have only become more dangerous following the migrant crisis.
It's hard to understand why there is no stop at the Copenhagen Airport.
@@jmolofsson Capacity constraints. It's a very busy station and the passenger train capacity is getting an attempt at rectifying in a few years with the construction of additional passenger platforms where the freight bypass currently sits. But even then Ny ellebjerg might be the better candidate for a stop close to downtown Copenhagen once the platforms there are finished in like 2023 or 24
verry good videa
Great video! Very well done! Very much appreciated. However, advert interruptions every 5 minutes or so really disrupts the flow and positive experience when watching this.
Wow very nice video! So its possible to take the train from Malmö to Berlin?
