This is why Arccorp is and will always be my home planet. The feeling when I log into the game and wake up in ArcCorp and this soundtrack starts playing still gives me goosebumps.
There are many great games, many great soundtracks. But over the last few years, not many of those pieces really sticked in my mind for a long time. What you created Pedro Camacho are some epic, great pieces of music which I still will remember in 5, 10 years or longer. To create good music is a thing many composers are able to. But not many of them reach a level that you will always remember their work.
I love this piece, easily one of the best to come out of Star Citizen OST yet, good job Pedro. The way it trembles and the notes eerily ring, nicely contrast familiarity with unknown and give it a melancholic feeling. You can definitely feel religious undertones in there too as you stand in awe looking at the majestic arccorp skyscrapers, the same way a common man in the middle ages stood in awe looking at the great cathedrals of the day.
One of the hallmarks of architectural beauty in our world today is the ancient Greeks. Imagine what one of them would think, looking up at one of the majestic skyscrapers of ArcCorp, only one of millions of monuments of mankind's prowess in that age, taller than the mountain he once believed his gods lived atop.
Or looking at the temple in ancient Jerusalem. This song brings to mind a near death experience being surrounded by the white light and hearing the most melodic heavenly music permeate your entire being as you float to the eternal while your physical mind is shredded leaving only your true essence. I think mister Pedro was definitely inspired by the spirit with this one.
Spawning to Arccorp for the first time was the closes I've come to feeling the sense of wonder and freedom I felt since playing ME1 all the way back in '08.
This version is nearly the same time it takes me to drive home from work. I have listened to it many times and it does not get old. Pedro's music here is spectacular and your rearrangement of it is incredible. I particularly like the part starting at 7:45. It usually plays when i get to this huge bridge over the river. On a clear day the view from that bridge is amazing and this music here seems synced to my driving speed so i'm on the bridge through almost this whole build up part. I will never tire of this music
It's amazing isn't it! So much atmostphere. I've also spoken to him in the comments section on his youtube channel where he has his own music video of the arc corp theme & he is a super cool & humble guy too. I'm so glad pedro is on this project because you can clearly hear how passionate & serious he is about it with the sheer quality of the music. Sounds like your enjoying it to the fullest too, good stuff 👍🏿
8:15 to 10:35 is when things start getting emotional. Im sitting in a park as i write this & there are couples lying down snuggling together in the grass, people walking their dogs, people jogging, others kicking a ball around, birds are flying around & everyone is at peace with each other & the whole park is soaked with sunset. All this while i'm listening that part of the track i mentioned above is just bliss, peace is bliss.
@sabermaster you just described a scene from my past in centinela park los angeles during the mid 1970s when I was a teenager almost twenty and I became at one with the universe... ohm - om mani padme hum!
man I just wonder how wonderful will it be being able to fly in my small ship around the verse, doing odd jobs just to live by.. seeing different worlds in different star systems... everything perfeclty handcrafted by CIG. It amazes me how the worlds and cities we have now in Stanton are so close to what was in the concept art, can't wait to see these other locations in game.
No doubt Star Citizen is beautiful and has amazing tracks just like this. I'm glad to have joined the verse but wish we can explore more buildings in ArcCorp and Lorville. Anytime I fly to either city I just hover and listen to these amazing soundtracks. It definitely helps when I draw sci fi stuff.
I’m looking forward to cyberpunk 2077, but regardless of how ridiculously high that project’s production values are, I doubt their music will come half way close to how incredible this theme is. Omg dude, if you were to distill the genre of Cyberpunk into its central sublime nuanced core... this theme IS CYBERPUNK Bleepin freakin standing O
The first 12 minutes is like how they build ArcCorp A humble planet with some infrastructures to a planet teaming with jungle buildings which are presented as the grandiose orchestral score after 12:01
Going to go out on a limb and say this is as good a track as from ANY sci-fi movie in recent memory.. it punches right up there with the very best. It wouldn't sound out of place in Blade Runner or any other such film.
Yes, well done! Thank you friend, I commented on your last upload of this song that it should be atleast > 16 mins long haha, such a masterpiece! (The sound seems slightly more compressed but otherwise smooth transition)

Shit is epic, completely took me away landing on ac the first time. I thought they'd used up most of their good songs
Right? The first time I heard the real breadth of the theme was when I landed on a building to try to get my bearings to where Area 18 was and I got a nice view of the city landscape during low morning
It's going to be very difficult to top this soundtrack for sure. Now it's got me curious what kind of atmosphere the OST's for other Planets like Micro-Tech and Crusader might convey.
@@chiffmonkey Hahaha, it'd have to be Sci-Fi Hotel Lobby Jazz or something. Although, not sure that fits the environment and lore outside of New Babbage.

Pedro is a legend.
Ok now ... I want to go in my Connie and fly by above Arcorp for 10 hours :F

I was reading and waiting on that nuclear holocaust.

@@Bald_Zeus Try reading it again in 2022!
Some of Pedro's best work yet
Pedro Camacho is the best, Star Citizen is something special.

The part that begins at 8:15 is the greatest soundtrack I have ever heard in a game.
After 14:48. Its almost like a beautiful scent that you smelled before but you dont remember from where. Leaves you wondering...
Sublime peça musical de alta craveira. Foi composta pelo Pedro Macedo Camacho e isso diz tudo. Great piece....
fantastic sound space

Give it time - hard to forget just how much progress has been made in the last 12 months - really starting to come together as an amazing game

Just hook Pedro's work directly into my veins
6:18 Getting a cities skylines feel from this as well. Or is that just me?

Guesses - microTech = hotel lobby jazz, Crusader = like Holst's Jupiter.

Heard it in digital foundrys analysis, finally found it. 😁
Hey, whats the title of the tech base drum female vocal song, at the space port Lounge by the coffee machine ?
That recurring Harp melody at 2:20 is exactly the same as that from "Gathering Horizon" from the game "Factorio"
12:02 is when shit starts to sound all epic and cool
your soundtracks are awesome!
Where did this extended version come from? Is it ripped from the game files, like the long track the game uses for the dynamic music system?
Most of Pedro's tracks now are in stem form, and that's what I assembled this from.
decent
it's only this: music, graphic, and nothing else. sad
Greatest game ever made
