Alan Jackson is a true legend. A true example of the heart and soul of country. He is an amazing writer, but also has this ability to pull these emotions out of you. Check out his songs-“the older I get” and “remember when” (which is a love song video has his real family in it) more light hearted-don’t rock the jukebox, chatahoochie, 5’o clock somewhere

America came together. Truly for the first time since Pearl Harbour. But please don't forget about your friends to the north. Operation Yellow Ribbon. When us Canadians took in tens of thousands of strangers mostly Americans because you closed the skies. Once again Canada gave openly never asking for recognition or accolades. We just did what a good neighbor would do.

I live about 40 mins away from where that plain went down in Pa. I will never forget that horrible morning. Or how quiet the country was from the shock.
We cried watching Tv and when we couldn't cry any more, we went outside to sit and would just watch the sky.
Alan song shows the quit aftermath. Tobys song shows us when the shock wore off and the anger set in.
Thanks for reacting to both of them.
Oh, and what was i doing that morning.
I was working in a horse barn with a sick horse. The vet told me what was happening.

I was 21 & watched the 2nd tower get hit & go down on the tv while sitting in the unemployment office. There wasn't a dry eye there and everyone was glued to the tv. A friend of mine was at the Pentagon but luckily he was in the parking lot heading in when the Pentagon was hit & didn't get injured but he lost a lot of his friends. For the first time in a long time, everyone was kind to others, there was so much American pride that brought us all together. The way people act now here in America breaks my heart. I absolutely love watching you and can feel the love you have for America. We would be proud to have you become an American citizen. God Bless you 🙏🏼

Dude, you're killing me. I'm not on TV. I'm sitting her ballin' my eyes out. I just watched 2 Toby Keith, and a Trace Atkins song all reacted to in the last 24 hours. They're back to back. My husband was USMC from 1967 to 1971. He passed away New Years Eve 2019. I wasn't able to have a Military Funeral because it was 2020 and my husband wasn't George Floyd. So Nancy Pelosi didn't hand me a flag. But you said something about hope to be an American soon and something about a passport, well Sir I send you my thanks and respect for holding up America as you have in your videos. I wish you the best and prayers are definetly coming your way. God bless you God speed.

One of the positive things about that day was my older son left work to be with me until we found out if my husband was ok (he was working at the Pentagon that day), I didn't ask him to leave work, he just knew I didn't need to be alone.

I want my country to be like it was on 9/12/2001. We were one people. Nobody cared what your skin color was, your religion, your socioeconomic situation, no care about someone's political affiliation. We had neighbors helping neighbors, sending help to those who needed it. Prayed more, loved more. That is the country I wished we were still.

I heard about the first plane on the way to work, I ran in turned on TV in time to see the second hit and everything that followed that day. Reaction: horror and Fear that both of my sons in the army were heading to war. I'll never forget, yes by'o3 my fears came true, but by everyday since I thank God for bringing them back alive. Btw way there are guns of good country female singers as well. Would love Faith Hill's Breathe, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood's The Champion official video with Ludacris, Anything from Martina McBride. Try the hilarious Brad Paisley " I'm Still a guy" among deep catalog. Toby Keith is funny too. " Trailerhood".

It's not bad, as a country the US united after the horrific attacks, it is only natural that artistic and patriotic excellency would follow as that is what people do when they feel under attack and ultimately therefore united as a nation standing up in the face of evil and terror!

I was waking up in the morning and found out just after the 1st tower was hit. I was glued to the TV for as long as I could until I had to go care for my grandmother. When I got to my grandparents house, the first thing I did was ask my grandfather if I could call my aunt who was living just off the outside of a Navy base in Virginia where my uncle was stationed. When I talked to her she said that she could not even get on base to get her own car because EVERYTHING had been locked down. I have not, nor will I ever, forget that day!

I never in my wildest dreams thought I'd have an American event happen in my lifetime where people would ask....where were you when. I wish we didn't. I'll never forget. I also remember feeling fear for my son...he's 23 now. Fear at what kind of world he would grow up in bc I didn't know what this attack meant. How it would all play out. Once the "dust settled" that's when I was able to think more clearly. I was saddened by the loss of life, the families destroyed and so much more. We came together as a country. Even if for a short time.
I want to welcome you to this side of "the pond". I hope you find joy, happiness, prosperity, and a place you can call home.

I remember what I was doing. I had called my relief person at work to relieve me and it seemed to take for ever. He hecwas in our work cafeteria getting coffee and saw the first tower fall. He looked so shocked when he came to take my place. I asked what happened and he told me with tears in his eyes. I went straight to my parents house to check on them and Mom just hugged me and I was sitting on my Daddy's lap when the second one fell. I think that was the first time I ever saw my retired Air Force Daddy cry.

Few things in history emblazen your memory like this. I remember exactly where I was when I found out. And I remember every day during that first 10 days after . . . . looking in the sky and not seeing planes flying. Watching convoys of military vehicles speeding down pedestrian roads that were closed to through traffic. It was uncertain, and scary and nearly every American wanted blood. Because along with American blood spilled there were people from other countries who trusted our safety and were victims as well. It pissed us off. I personally appreciate your endearment to our Nation. Thank you.
