That's is a true example of real R&B is about back in the 1990's. I remembered when this song first was released in the Spring of 1999 as a 9 year old, but however I didn't know who the artist was at the time because back then, There no such thing as youtube, facebook, instagram, snapchat, tiktok, other social media brands and texting wasn't a thing back then. However, I remember America Online, you guys remember that brand of early social media. the late 90's was the beginning of social media but they weren't as advanced as it is today, with IPhones, Androids. We may not had the best technology back in the 1990's but you can't denied the best R&B in that era, back then when R&B singers like Donell Jones, Aaliyah, R. Kelly, TLC, Brian McKnight, Joe, Jon B, Next, Boyz to Men,The New Edition, Chuckii Booker, Blackstreet, Usher, Tevin Campbell, Desitiny's Child, Ginuwine, Jahiem, Carl Thomas Spice Girls and many more. Even thought I was born in 1989, I'm so blessed of growing in the 1990's when R&B was not about sex, money, cars, I was mostly about soul, emotions, love, relationships, honesty, and mostly come from the heart. Nowadays It's not been the same because today's R&B like WTF really, and it's sad that the 2000's born baby never got to experience what true R&B is about in 1990's.
