@@NeverEverTM He doesn't and he typically will still agro on you if he's charging at you. Setting the pack sack down prevents him from agroing on you once he starts stalking you, and you can start stalking him for his loot instead.

Funny story at one point well playing don't starve I was brand new and had not had any hound attacks yet and haddent seen a Mandrake before Soo I ate one and not being prepared for a hound attack I fell asleep because Mandrakes and got killed by hounds I found the whole experience pretty funny
That must’ve been pretty annoying with all the murmuring of crowds and “AAA AAA AAA AAA” of the young mandrakes as well
