Gameplay explanation for Merg: Depending in the sans you will have a set amount of stamina, each attack uses stamina, running out of stamina will be your death, some characters like dust sans die quicker ( around like 20-30 stamina death ) Standing still speeds up stamina regeneration but you take more stamina damage if hit whilst standing still. There is also the single-player mode if you want to grind wins against bots. The only problem with single-player is that there is no exp given to you, so it should not be relied on for wins. Every kill as sans grants 20XP, which is used in upgrades ( they do not get taken away to be used for an upgrade ), each upgrade costs a set amount of xp and wins based on the sans, they shoe what they do when you hover over them with your mouse There are unlockable skins which can be obtained after a win as either team, by visiting hyperdust’s shop, and using the skin machine. Most skins offer buffs, but they can be checked by hovering over them, as well as their requirement of xp and wins. This also applies to chara team characters, though they are usually not going to be worth-it cause of ulc balancing issues. There are also achievements which can be unlocked by doing specific tasks, each of which can be seen by finding the trophy icon at the bottom left. Try use all the weapons as they show their exclusive achievements. There are also two souls found by going past the normal souls in the barrier, but they will only give debuffs. (These two souls are used for achievements) If you ever get to 1000 wins there is the option to reset which grants even more characters and 2 chara team weapons: the soul scythe and golden pan, the golden pan is usable without any wins after resetting. Btw when fighting one of the dust characters (dust sans, dustfell, outerdust, murder sans, dustswap, dustbelief) they are buffed/healed each kill so be wary of that. Check the void for new weapons, barrier for souls, doodle sphere + lobby for characters.
Ex owner here, I’m a bit late, but it’s crazy to see my favorite undertale content creator playing a game I used to test and manage. The game has changed a lot since I was with the team, so it was super cool to react to new things along with you. Thank you for giving the game a shot!
@@virus-random-person Mostly stress, it was taxing on my mental health managing all the drama between Roblox communities. I was in charge of the discord server since I was given shared ownership but have no developing skills lol, so I managed the community and helped test the game.
Merg: Uploading a highly requested terraria playthrough: ❌ Uploading MORE ROBLOX!!!: ✅ Edit : I realise this reply makes it seem like I dont like the Roblox videos. That is not the case. I am hooked, especially on Final Showdown.
I love watching Merg playing this it just reminds me of the first I played back when sans didn’t have to have upgrades to have a final attack. Man I sometimes miss those days, but now I’m just enjoying the game with half of the characters maxed out
Hey Merg! I'm glad that you're playing ULC. So, I'm just going to get straight to the point! While playing as any of the Sans'es, you can stand still to gain a higher stamina rate. If you get hit while standing still, you will lose 15 stamina. Getting hit while moving, you will lose 5 stamina. I hope this helps! It's very important.
Here are some quick tips from my personal experience: General: • This game is ACTIVELY being updated and worked on, which is why some models are so much lower in quality than the newest ones. • Once in a blue moon (usually around major holidays), the game will come out with a limited time event. These can reward exclusive skins, characters, and weapons. There are 6 current event sans in the game. • The game sadly has no tutorial yet, so I would recommend watching a video or two about it. • Single player mode is currently unupdated, it has some dated scripting and models, but it reward's wins well. They are bot battles which are heavily RNG dependent but reward nicely. (my personal favorite to grind is Underfell sans, rewarding two wins per kill. He takes 11-12 hits to kill) • Four of the single player fights reward things other than wins. The Underswap Sans singleplayer fight rewards you with the badge which is required to play as Distrust Sans at 75 wins (Disbelief but Underswap) The Horrortale Sans singleplayer fight rewards you with the badge that allows you to use the cleaver weapon at 100 wins The Chara single player fight rewards you with the badge that allows you to use the Determination Soul at 125 wins and upgrades on Chara The secret Dusttrust Papyrus encounter (activated by killing Underwap sans and then clicking on Dusttale sans) is a very challenging fight formatted completely differently from the other ones and is nonrng based. It rewards the "Regret." badge which will likely be used for a skin in the near future. • The dice in Hyperdust's Casino can be used to randomize all of your equips with two rolls per round. When using them, there is a chance to get a secret weapon skin. • Ignore the red wolf blasters, they are from storyspin sans, which is on the Chara team. • The no teaming rules simply applies to letting player's kill you as sans or Sans kill you as Chara for exp gain. • The game gets a lot of "Phantom Updates" which add things without being announced. •When you die on the Chara team, you should use the time to switch equipment rather than spectating (if you want) • The Three gamepasses in the Antivoid are mostly unreworked. The ONLY one I think is worth purchasing is Underswap sans (He sucks unupgraded to avoid pay to win) Sans: • You should switch to shift lock ONLY for moves like bone rush or melee attacks, which fire in the direction that you're facing • As sans, you should slightly zoom out the camera to see the battlefied, since you should attempt to lure your opponents into attacks using other ones. EX: Bonezone + Force • Each move costs a little bit of stamina, which is why you should try to avoid spamming unless the kill is assured. If you don't have enough stamina for the move, you won't be able to use it. (Like the ketchup) • As sans, you will regenerate your stamina when standing still. Running around the map should be avoided. (unless you're getting jumped) • When you are overwhelmed by your opponents or low on stamina, your best move will be to hide in your own attacks, such as blasters or bonezone to avoid being attacked. • Some moves in your moveset aren't meant purely for damaging. Examples: Bonezone: Should be used for defense or to control an opponent's movements. Force: Should be used to get opponents away from you, or on rare occasion to knock them into another attack. Bone Throw: I personally don't use it much, But it costs little stamina and little damage. It catches me off guard from time to time. I would write some Chara team tips BUUUUT I have been at this for 40 minutes and I am tired. Srry
MY WISH GOT GRANTED, LETS GOOOOO also, merg if you have like LOW stamina like 5 - 10 stamina you can only do moves that cost that amount of stamina or less. some moves cost alot of stamina
Hi Merg! I will explain a few things in the lobby. 1. There are some morphs in the lobby i think you have noticed. They have different abilities. UF Frisk can give healing pellets. 2. In the void. There are weapons. They have different abilities and some of them are from other characters. 3. Barrier has SOUL's. Which give you boost based on them.
here's a tip: if you stand still for sans your stamina regenerates a Lot faster but you lose 3x the stamina when hit and when you use an attack you lose stamina (not affected by standing still) so try to stand still as much possible but NEVER get hit standing still so u have to move the second they hit you and dont spam attacks you or you use alot of stamina
Just a thing: Find your preferred Sans, you can level it up by killing humans. You can unlock Determination by beating chara in singleplayer. And you can unlock the Horror Cleaver by beating horror sans in singleplayer. Go to the low win server, if you pass 100 wins you can stay there until you leave. =)
Hey, you are my favorite RUclipsr actually and Last corridor is my favorite undertale fangame (Yes it's my favorite I've played it for years and still play it don't judge) And I really hope you continue to play it cause as much as it's weird you playing this is something I literally had dreams of so thank you. O bye the way heres my 25 page essay on the game for beginners How sans works is they have stamina which everytime you attack and get hit lose some causing you to strategies how to conserve it. You can get stamina back by standing still but you also lose more stamina if you get hit while standing still. If you get a kill as sans even if you die you get 20 exp, if you press the upgrade button by each charecter you can see the upgrades for them and how much exp and wins each upgrade takes. Getting upgrades can be form buffs to fully changing a characters moveset so even little sans can kill you. The area that you thought was the shop was actually the skin roll area where you can get skins for your sanses and unlike final showdown sometimes actually buff the charecter but do take exp and wins aswell. You a roll everytime you get a win. When going into the game instead of playing the main game can press modes and go to singleplayer, singleplayer hasn't been updated for a while but there you do fights not only to get wins but badges like distrust, horror cleaver, and even the determination soul. Finally In the lobby the void is where weapons are, doddle sphere has more sanses, and antivoid has gamepass charecters. Also dont trust the stats above sanses just try them and see if you like them. Ok I'm done talking, thank you for reading and hope this helps Mr. Cherry
Tips: Weapons in the void . Singleplayer give wins and acess for determination soul. You can get exp in sans for kill the chara team and chara team for hit. Skins give boosts or no.
Just a few tips that can probably help you a bit: -Both teams have different portals in the lobby: the chara team has the void which is the place where you get your weapons and stuff, and the sans team has the doodle sphere which has other extra characters that you can use. -Keep in mind that most of the sans characters that come before classic sans are kinda bad. -Both teams get EXP everytime they kill a sans or chara, EXP can then be used to upgrade your character and use skins (upgrades are really good for the sans team, some of them change their movesets and stuff) -I'd recommend you grind for skins since some of them give you buffs and also change your moveset. -The game also has a singleplayer mode which can give you wins and badges (one for the determination soul, one for distrust sans and another one for dustbelief I think) -Almost all of the chara team characters are actually pretty decent and could help you a bit, the only downside is that they don't let you use another weapon. -When you're playing as sans, don't spam too much since this game uses a stamina system; the more you spam and get hit, the more stamina you lose. To regain stamina you just need to stand still, but try to do it whenever the chara team is far away so its not risky. i honestly hope you keep playing this game, its really fun seeing you play it :)
Hello Merg, you legendary man. I want to recommend a really underrated Undertale game. The game is called "Undertale Last Corridor: LITE." Think of it as Undertale last corridor but a trade with less graphics but some fun aspects to it! I hope you get this comment.
@@user-es7nd3sy8oto be fair it would be a golden game if it werent for the hitboxes and balancing issues. it captures the look of classic undertale. no hyper realistic energy beams, no 4K-HD Attacks, just simplicity, which is actually really good.
@@EggMcGreg tbh yeah, if they just balanced the game and fix the hitboxes and other stuff I think people would actually consider it a good game considering that's what everyone seems to complain about( there are also the models but that really isn't so bad)
@@user-es7nd3sy8o yeah. ULC ruined what made it stand out. now it rivals UFS more than UJD. i hope UJD keeps its classic style and doesnt try to follow the chain. Also, an easy fix for hitboxes would be making the hitbox smaller than the actual beam by a little. this is what most UT svc gamrs do, and even what Classic Undertale itself does.
@@frostbezrg6383 i mean, i know and i saw someone mentioning him playing ulc again in adws, but he might just played the game for a bit checking out the update without making a video
Hi! I’m glad to see that you’re trying out seemingly every Sans VS Chara that you can get your hands on! Few tips for your gameplay if you ever play this again: 1) Singleplayer is a good place to grind for wins, try to grind until 30 or 45 wins, but don’t grind too much, as you might accidentally lock yourself out of low wins, which isn’t great with no EXP. 2) Fell Sans is a wonderful option for early game, with his high damage and combo potential, he’s a great choice for low wins. Use him as soon as possible. 3) Once you get a bit further ahead, I’d suggest Hardtale or Dust Sans. They’re fantastic characters for early game, with great combo potential for Hardtale (arguably the most fun character), and Dust Sans being extremely powerful when used right (the Sans that you fought that has the theme “Bloodbath” was Dustfell Sans, a skin for Dust Sans that gives him a damage buff and better attacks in return for lesser stamina. 4) Skins give buffs in this game. That’s about it. They aren’t purely cosmetic for the most part, though some are. 5) Characters don’t necessarily get better the higher wins you get, they’re all usually pretty worthwhile once maxxed. 6) There’s an upgrade system. Click the “UPGRADES” button next to any Sans or Chara to see them. They require EXP, which is obtained by killing the opposite team (kill Sans as Chara, kill Charas as Sans, pretty simple), and wins, which are obtained by winning or from singleplayer. 7) This isn’t a game tip, but please don’t listen to anyone that says that one game is better then the other. There’s bad blood between the games for basically no reason (it’s really funny) Now, go, and spend 50k on Muffet somewhere!
On low wins server I rather recommend grind for weak chars with op upgrades like pacifist, papyrus (an op skin instead) or outer. Classic, Last breath and the three u mentioned can be played well enough in general, even on public servers. Also Horror is a reference standard for a pretty much free and a strong character, he's so good and barely has any need in upgrades that it's insane.
oh... god... thanks merg, thank you so much, i dont know if you either saw my comment or you just ramdomly played but, thank you so much for playing it!!!! im no game developer, im just so happy that you played the game that i used to play since 2018!!! merg, im really REALLY wishing to play one day with you
nice to see merg playing this game, heres a few tips incase you ever read this. also this doesnt just have to be for merg, these are tips for anyone. 1. you dont need to win every round, the main important thing is getting kills since every kill gives 20 xp and xp can get you upgrades. also some upgrades need wins and skins have a set amount of xp/wins that are needed to be used but normally they need you to be fully upgraded (unless its cosmetic) 2. higher win cost doesnt mean its better, everything is designed to be similar power just better in some scenarios and have different playstyles 3. this game is a little buggy but once you get used to them and maybe play around them it isnt so bad 4. some characters are still outdated but every outdated character is planned to be updated at some point. also outdated doesnt mean its a worse character 5. over in single player you can fight bosses to unlock things and get wins (single player is being revamped soon so be on the lookout) 6. the green portal in the lobby brings you to low win servers where you will only play against players with 0-100 wins so you can play against people with similar skill and learn about the game more 7. in the barrier are all the souls you can use, all except determination cost 0 wins so you should try them all, there isnt just 1 thats better then the rest, they all have weapons and scenarios they are better for (except justice that thing is utter garbage) also i know determination gives a second life but its not the best soul for everything 8. knowledge is power, if you know your abilitys and your opponents abilitys you can predict what they will do and overall play better 9. the speed system is very simplified to a base number system. in settings you can turn on a ui thing that tells you your speed at all times. i recommend you turn this on. chara team has a base of 16 speed and sans team has a base of 14 speed 10. as sans, if you stand still you regen more stamina but you will lose 15 instead of 5 when you are hit 11. you almost always want shiftlock on, makes your life so much easier 12. if you hold left click with some weapons you can charge a critical attack which does more damage 13. sans team does not have dodges, if your stamina or health (if you have any) hits 0 you die 14. the meters of stamina attack speed and attack power are not accurate at all, do not trust them ever 15. fell frisk is bad to start but when upgraded they are pretty great but if you are not confident in your dodging abilitys i do not recommend using fell frisk 16. most sans team members with health have defense 17. you dont want to spam since that wastes all your stamina 18. most map attacks take away their stamina cost after they are made so this can put you into negative stamina and when you are negative you cannot regenerate so be careful 19. force pushes people in the direction you are facing and most attacks fire at your mouse 20. you are sometimes unable to use attacks because of them costing stamina, you have to manage your stamina for attacks and health 21. near the end of the video you mentioned weapon damage and stuff but keep in mind, all weapons have a purpose. stick is a support weapon since you can stun sans, increase your and your teammates damage a huge amount (thats what the number above sans when you hit them with an abillity is and what flex does) and you can increase your teams speed and defense. you can even pull sans to you and mess with their screen. also when you hold your button you are slower but you can dodge attacks (thats what the dodge on the right is) but mainly just remember, all weapons are designed to be equal 22. last tip, you can get more weapons in the void portal next to the play as yourself (PaY) and barrier also yes im saying these at the start of the vid so idk if merg knows any but hope this helps. and 1 last thing, this video was great merg :)
Hey merg if you ever get 400 wins, play as Insanity and keep grinding till 5k exp. After that grind for 850 wins. Then you get the most epic upgrade oat
As papyrus you should use shift and for your first move You should start using it with shift, since it's a bone jump but for the second use, you will have a big bone throw and what you should at the start of the round, is bone gap.
Some tips (prob wont reach merg but idk) You can select new weapons when you "Play as Yourself" In Void Stamina regenration depends on if you moving or not Being hit or using abilitys takes stamian (that why u couldnt use abilitys sometimes, u just didnt had enough) Kindness lowers your speed by 1, thats why ur so slow, its good for surviving but less effective for rushing or dodging. As for stick, when you open "Act" menu u can "dodge" when being hit just like sans would
I am so happy and excited that you are playing ULC. Thank you Merg. Me personally I used to be the best but I'm not anymore and I'd make me really happy if you got better than me. Also hope you figure out the game goodluck.
As sans you have a stam bar and when you use moves it drains your stam bar as well as when you get hit (unless you have hp as a sans)so you want to stay still to get your stam back faster. As chara you can go into the void to change your weapons and go into the doodle around 90 win for more sans. For the upgrades as sans to need to kill the chara team members for exp for the upgrades in which you also need wins. And to the right of dusttale frisk there is a casino where you can get skins that can change the gameplay for certain sans. And the upgrades are a thing for the friskes as well in which you need exp (if you want any more tips just ask)
yoo merg like u said its an older SVC and actually the first of its style of gameplay there were svc games before this... but.... different and ulc was the first one to rlly stand out although the old models wereeee... yeah but their reworking everything! havent watched the entire vid yet lol but just know its way more actual dodge based and you gotta be more careful with attacks due to stamina you can also UPGRADE characters from both teams, although you need the determination badge.. but, do ONE thing in the next ulc video if there will be one first, go to singleplayer fight and kill swap sans THEN, go directly to dust sans... dont click on dusts nose though otherwise it wont work and if you go on as said.. you'll find a... pleasent surprise i mean u wont see this anyway but its worth a shot PS: singleplayer isnt great it hasnt been reworked yet, but what im trying to show you will most certainly stand out rn oh and incase u didnt realise(u did prob) stamina is a /dodge hp replacement but also works as mana for every sans, go to the void for weapons, doodlesphere for MORE sans', and also, the upgrade thing next to every sans, you can click it to select upgrades
Things you must know 1 the sans team encourages a slower gameplay as attacking or getting hit (if your character dodges) will take your STAMINA Stand still will increase the number from the right which tells you the rate of stamina you're regenerating. Getting hit while standing still will drain more of your stamina so make sure to not stand still if they're going to attack. In the game modes you can find the single players which can be used to grind wins (easier start-up for new players) And unlock: - DT soul from chara fight - Underswap badge (needed for distrust) All the weapons have a description in the lobby as you saw PLS make sure to read them when you're going to use them as ALL THE WEAPONS have a passive and abilities in the side of ANY CHARACTER including chara team there's a machine that says "upgrade" if you have it make sure to check it as it can give useful information for example fell frisk which is seen as GARBAGE has upgrades that increases frisk LEVEL and make him stronger - Some pro tips: While you have ACT open you move slower Use any option if you can as THATS what makes stick good Something's you missed: Scientist sans "red/orange" laser does 0 DMG but push you away All the skins of the game changes the whole gameplay of the original gameplay The game keeps constantly adding and changing new content that's why as you probably saw chara team for example most of the models are really bad meanwhile all sans models are WAY better or you can see how attacks feel "old" You can see a room which look like some kind of bar with dust on it. There's a gacha there that grands a skin randomly you can open 1 box each time you win If you already have the skin it will give you a win Scientist blasters explosion actually does dmg use it as an advantage to keep them away Fun facts: This game as ufs makes (sometimes as they're trying to make their own theme FOR ALL the characters) their OWN themes some you already had hear are ruins dust "now or never" (honestly my favourite theme) This game is one of the oldest sans Vs chara games This game is one of the ut games that changed THE MOST having 3 different era's [Og-adrian(was the owner)- current game]
Since people like arguing about if ufs or ulc is better I'll point out some flaws for both games: -UFS Not much to do after almost 300 wins. Buggy as hell. Needs some balance changes. -ULC Game is harsh for begginers, yes there are low wins servers but if you go up against people with thousands of wins (which there are a lot of) you'll barely able to survive starting out. It's based too heavily on wins, while exp does help with this, once you get out of low wins server it'll be basically impossivle to get exp for the lower wins characters. Also buggy as hell. No movement system unlike in ufs. Now here are some advantages that they have: -UFS Good graphics. Expansive gameplay that allows for even starting players to be able to beat the highest win character as of now (ruins dust). Varied types of characters that allow for different playstyles -ULC Massive amounts of characters. Far more to grind than in UFS. There's upgrades and characters for the human team. Can hide your wins. Has been around for way longer. Smaller but more frecuent updates than ufs. More weapons for chara team. In conclusion, ULC is a much bigger game, but needs something more unique of its own in order to convince me completely. On the other hand, UFS has a really small amount of content and has had a lot of troubles with bugs since launch. Both games are gems, it's stupid to compare them in the first place, go play the game that you enjoy the most and don't let other's opinions affect you in a negative way. Have a nice day/night.
Ufs in general has a more consistent quality level, unlike Ulc it doesn't have the best map graphics ever seen (swap sans map) and then Adrian's old unreworked models and mechanics. Probably cuz Ufs was in a constant development, while Ulc despite having more people in team (probably) was always there, releasing some casual updates very oftenly and doesn't seem to have much of a structure plan in development. Like Even some new updates not just are pretty buggy at start, not just having some arguable rebalance decisions, but also repeat same old mistakes.
Also please play undertale judgement day (cuz I felt funny, at the start go to low wins server and let me tell you pacifist is good but you gotta know his moveset)
Glad you decided to play this, I’ve been playing for a long time and it’s one of my favorites SUPER DUPER PRO TIP: aim your bone throw towards where you’re moving for more damage
Hello merg it’s nice to see you again! Nice vid hope you have a good day tip if you have 15 - 10 - 5 wins you can get a weapon at the void in the lobby and you have unlimited dodges but it uses your stamina also fell sans is 30 wins I recommend you use that also the more you move the slower the stamina regain
As sans you depend on stamina, you regen slowly while walking but get less stamina taken off when hit (5), while when you stand still you regen more but get more stamina taken off when you get hit (15). Your moves also take stamina away from you. Force pushes people in the direction your avatar is facing. The dodge on stick only works if you have act out, Void contains more weapons for play as yourself. Doodle sphere contain more of the higher win sanses and anti-void is where gamepasses are. Upgrades are a key mechanic in this game (the black panels with gears on them) they tell you how leveled up your selected character is. To get exp for any team you must kill chara’s for sans (each kill is 20 exp) and for chara you must win (20 exp). Like for fell frisk, they only have 20 hp because they are lvl 1 and the stick doesn’t work because it’s an old version. Also another mechanic are skins, which unlike ufs are (mostly) not cosmetic, they buff the chosen character or change it in some way.
Finally you're playing this game ! Just for info, your stick Can open the ACT menu with R, there it enables one dodge that recharges and you Can use different acts, to keep it short and simple, acting increase a jauge on sans that slows him down and lowers his attack and defence, Talk sends a projectile that covers sans's screen , flex and courage boost respectivly attack and defence of close teammates, flirt sends a projectile that stuns sans for a few secondes and Pose drags sans on you if he is close enough.
fun fact: Orange/Blue bones behave by input, this means that if you press 'W' or any other movement keys on a blue bone you will get a certain amount of damage
i’m so happy you decided to play this game! i recommend you to keep using science sans, you can use his laser walls to push charas back so you can regen some stamina, you can also camp in the blaster explosions. every kill you get as sans or chara awards xp for that character, xp lets you unlock upgrades on that character and makes them stronger (you get 20 xp if you lose as chara) fell frisk is really bad without upgrades but they get way better with upgrades.
heya merg! REALLY happy you're checking out ULC, a few things to note: 1. you've probabl read from some other people about "Singleplayer", so heres a little tip. Fight swap sans, and then dust sans. 2. This game is not the most beginner friendly so, theres that. Other than that, have fun.
Some tips for stick: When you're holding out the act button you can use your dodge, which will let you get hit by 1 attack and take no damage You do deal very low damage, but that's because stick is more of a support weapon, but you can also buff your attack up to 50 if you use the flex (attack damage doesn't really matter against stamina characters anyway, which always take the same amount of damage from melees usually)
hi merg im a ulc veteran (like 4 years played) and everyone else has given you obvious tips so i'll give more obscure but still important: 1. Most sans attacks have a hitbox that appears a few seconds after use, meaning you should aim it to where the charas will be in ~2 seconds rather than where they are now 2. yes, ULC is slower and more methodical than UFS, you have to find a balance between strategic positioning away from attacks and going in for hits when Sans' attacks are on cooldown/making sure you're never fully vulnerable as Sans 3. most weapons are balanced against DODGING sanses, because they all take away the same amount of stamina, but you have to rely on "heavy hits" (charge-up attacks that deal more damage) to do anything against HP sanses with the Stick 4. more weapons in the Void, more characters in the Doodle Sphere anyway thanks for playing this game it's very cool to see a huge youtuber like you play a relatively small game like ULC ❤
A brief rundown every character has exp so classic sans has 50xp 5 wins gives 5 plus stamina or 500exp 1 new attack and at like 2500 you unlock badtime mode that gives you all new attacks
Every sans has this like dust is ruins to waterfall rn there is also a single player where you can fight npc sanses to get wins and a chara boss that allows you to obtain dt soul
And there are skins like geno horror sans little dust sans and all that they require wins and makes the sans stronger and gives them new attacks music ect
This is the last time im gonna say this ULC IS NOT DYING TO UFS ☠️ MY GOD THEY HAVE LOW ACTIVE PLAYERS BECAUSE OF NO UPDATES AND THEY ARE WORKING ON ONE RN 🐟
merg,a quick tip for attacks is that, some attacks currently/later on,also require shiftlock to use,so if you think its better for attacks like those, for example attacks that aim in front of you(like telekinesis, meeles later, etc) im not that good with giving tips but i hope this helps ^^ tl;dr : some attacks use your character's vision for aiming
yoo you were very good on your first attempt, here are some tips if you want to play the game more: -singleplayer to grind wins and get determination soul (second life) -weapons are in the void -with sans team, stand still to regenerate more stamina in battle, be carefull tho because you loose more stamina if you get hit by chara team -as sans for every kill you get 20 exp for that sans, with it you can get upgrades and get stronger, you can see the upgrades next to a sans in the lobby -there are upgrades for the chara team too, but you also need exp for them, this is why underfell frisk was weak -with every win you get a skin boxes that you can use to spin skins next to the shop Hope I helped a bit, keep up the good work!
tip for Merg about Underfell Frisk, at first they are really bad, but once you get enough EXP as them, you can raise your level with the upgrade system, giving you better HP and weapons, even a little Flowey on your shoulder that gives a green healing pellet every few seconds, though to unlock these upgrades, you need to beat Chara in singleplayer mode, which can be found by clicking the gamemodes tab on the main menu screen (opened when you join the game or by clicking the green button on the left)
@@Xyphos Darn, May be misremembering due to them barely being used nowadays- How do you get exp when literally every character destroys you now? (Even low wins)
@@Willysupergamer max uff has standard health, 92, a base speed of 18. which is pretty high and they have constant healing from flowey if you put on kindness with uff, you have 17 HP, kindness (which is already good), and flowey you can basically heal 20-40 HP every 30 seconds
@@Xyphos That’s pretty good! But wouldn’t running DT with UF be better? You can still heal, let your other teammates heal, but if you suddenly get destroyed by something, you’d have a second chance!
merg needs to know that the stick, the act makes the sans weaker, and if you hold out the act when you get hit, you use up the 1 dodge that you have that shows in the middle right edit: the dodge comes back, standing still as a sans makes you regenerate stamina faster
Hey Merg,I've been following you for a long time, so about the hardmode sans, the one with a cut on the head and melee attacks,he said ###### because it's censorship, basically you can remove censorship from Roblox, it won't allow everything but it won't be censored for several words all the time, what hardtale sans talked about, it was probably one of his lines where he said,"I'm going to teach your grandma how to suck eggs",It's not a joke, he actually says that lol.
the sans at 32:46 is HardTale sans, an AU created by a youtuber CedDrawsNear, and is used in a whole bunch of his animations (Also, Ced recently made HardTale Reset (part 1), which is just an animation series of the entire AU, if you're curious)
Hey merg, i love ulc and im glad to see you play it! Hope you find it as fun as I do and make sure you take the time to learn the mechanics! There is a learning curve to the game but (almost) every character and weapon can be viable with a few upgrades and practice.
@@SansINess53 who Honestly I see it as Snowdin an offense, while Waterfall is defense. I've experienced on practice how much Waterfall might be better in actually tough situations, so tbh I still would rate him higher for that
Some things of note that are a little bit more niche: Make sure you take advantage of jumping. Some attacks (bone sliders, other ground based attacks) are meant to be dodged by jumping, others (like bone throws) are just easier to dodge that way Later weapons (mainly the soul scythe and certain chara morph weapons) do have a "crit" feature thats a little wonky, but youll get the hang of it This game has a single player mode where you can farm wins! On the menu before you load in, theres a button that says single player. It will take you to a seperate game where you can fight singleplayer versions of a few bosses, be warned they can get pretty hard. Theres also a secret dustswap encounter thats pretty challenging!
It's cool to see even more Roblox Undertale fangames, that also each have their own ideas and mechanics. I think this really proves that the UT community is one of the most dedicated game communities ever
btw merg you should actually use shiftlock SOMETIMES when your sans in this game, because some attacks direction are based on what direction sans is facing. (read my replies to this comment for a little more info)
One thing is that the reason why Underfell frisk (the character with 20 hp) was so bad was because they could be upgraded to be better, Also the reason why you cant use some attacks sometimes is because if you dont have enough stamina you cant use attacks (also if you get attacked when at 5 stamina or less the game sometimes glitches and gives you -# stamina which pretty much just means you lose because you cant regain stamina anymore for some reason)
If you want to play some other games on Roblox, I'd recommend a Backrooms horror game called Apeirophobia, where you progress through levels to the end through completing puzzles and surviving monsters. I think it's a really well-polished game with great graphics and sound design, personally one of my favorites :D
I kinda late to tell some *Tips*, hopeful ya read this This game is different from the game you played before (UFS). On UFS, the best way to play Sans is to combo and run and combo until you lose/win. but on ULC, the best way to play Sans is CAMP, CAMP, and CAMP (Unless you use Hardtale Pacifist Sans or Horror Sans) Sans use stamina as dogde/health, and also as mana to use skills. 0 stamina means you will die (unless the character used has/uses health like Papyrus). Your stamina will fill faster when standing and will fill longer when you walk (you can see what the stamina regeneration rate is by looking above your stamina indicator). You need to play on Low Win server so you won't meet players who have 2000 wins. I recommend using Science Sans, Classic Sans, Outer Sans, or Distrust Sans for beginners because these characters are easy to use. Some characters have not been reworked or rebalanced yet, so some unworked characters are kinda trash to use (except the full upgrade Last Breath, Disbelief Papyrus, Distrust Sans). Dont spam skill, it will make you die quicker Some character is trash when it doesn't have any upgrades (like pasifist sans, last breath sans, etc) If you use health character (like papyrus) and then your stamina runs out, you won't die immediately, and you can still regenerate stamina by standing still and tanking all the damage until you have enough stamina to fight again (but if you stamina is -1, it mean you will die even you use health character) Grind like 30 wins on singleplayer mode before playing on low win so you can unlock some character and weapon to help you win in this game Portal explanation : Void portal : Weapon place Barrier portal : Soul place Portal on Sans team : See more Usable Sans character
What pacifist sans that you keep seeing is, is a popularized concept of “what if you fought sans in the pacifist route?” Sort of like you can imagine a scenario where papyrus cracks down harder on sans for not fighting the human and he reluctantly agrees, having a not so serious battle with the human.
Merg, the black screen for genocide sans isn't a tp it's his phase 2 (For underfell sans' final attack you need to run in circle on the center) and for stamina, if you get hit while standing still you lose 15, while running/walking 5 (About stamina) Your stamina rate is how fast you gain stamina, if you stand still while not getting hit, you start to gain stamina faster until your stamina rate is at 35, your stamina rate is capped at 35 which means at 35 you cannot gain stamina faster

@@adrianbunda5495 dull knife is for noobs and Merg is not a noob
Gameplay explanation for Merg:
Depending in the sans you will have a set amount of stamina, each attack uses stamina, running out of stamina will be your death, some characters like dust sans die quicker ( around like 20-30 stamina death )
Standing still speeds up stamina regeneration but you take more stamina damage if hit whilst standing still.
There is also the single-player mode if you want to grind wins against bots. The only problem with single-player is that there is no exp given to you, so it should not be relied on for wins.
Every kill as sans grants 20XP, which is used in upgrades ( they do not get taken away to be used for an upgrade ), each upgrade costs a set amount of xp and wins based on the sans, they shoe what they do when you hover over them with your mouse
There are unlockable skins which can be obtained after a win as either team, by visiting hyperdust’s shop, and using the skin machine.
(These two souls are used for achievements)
If you ever get to 1000 wins there is the option to reset which grants even more characters and 2 chara team weapons: the soul scythe and golden pan, the golden pan is usable without any wins after resetting.
Btw when fighting one of the dust characters (dust sans, dustfell, outerdust, murder sans, dustswap, dustbelief) they are buffed/healed each kill so be wary of that.
Check the void for new weapons, barrier for souls, doodle sphere + lobby for characters.

Sans dance now with a whole extra dimension, cool video by the way
Here are some quick tips from my personal experience:
General:
• This game is ACTIVELY being updated and worked on, which is why some models are so much lower in quality than the newest ones.
He takes 11-12 hits to kill)
• Four of the single player fights reward things other than wins.
The Underswap Sans singleplayer fight rewards you with the badge which is required to play as Distrust Sans at 75 wins (Disbelief but Underswap)
The Horrortale Sans singleplayer fight rewards you with the badge that allows you to use the cleaver weapon at 100 wins
The Chara single player fight rewards you with the badge that allows you to use the Determination Soul at 125 wins and upgrades on Chara
The secret Dusttrust Papyrus encounter (activated by killing Underwap sans and then clicking on Dusttale sans) is a very challenging fight formatted completely differently from the other ones and is nonrng based.
•When you die on the Chara team, you should use the time to switch equipment rather than spectating (if you want)
• The Three gamepasses in the Antivoid are mostly unreworked. The ONLY one I think is worth purchasing is Underswap sans (He sucks unupgraded to avoid pay to win)
Sans:
• You should switch to shift lock ONLY for moves like bone rush or melee attacks, which fire in the direction that you're facing
• As sans, you should slightly zoom out the camera to see the battlefied, since you should attempt to lure your opponents into attacks using other ones. EX: Bonezone + Force
• Each move costs a little bit of stamina, which is why you should try to avoid spamming unless the kill is assured. If you don't have enough stamina for the move, you won't be able to use it. (Like the ketchup)
• As sans, you will regenerate your stamina when standing still. Running around the map should be avoided. (unless you're getting jumped)
• When you are overwhelmed by your opponents or low on stamina, your best move will be to hide in your own attacks, such as blasters or bonezone to avoid being attacked.
• Some moves in your moveset aren't meant purely for damaging.
Examples:
Bonezone: Should be used for defense or to control an opponent's movements.
Im a senior of ulc. So much improvement over the years and so much changed.
here's a tip: if you stand still for sans your stamina regenerates a Lot faster but you lose 3x the stamina when hit and when you use an attack you lose stamina (not affected by standing still) so try to stand still as much possible but NEVER get hit standing still so u have to move the second they hit you and dont spam attacks you or you use alot of stamina
as sans*
Stamina micro goes insane with joking aside
Just a thing:
Find your preferred Sans, you can level it up by killing humans.
O bye the way heres my 25 page essay on the game for beginners
How sans works is they have stamina which everytime you attack and get hit lose some causing you to strategies how to conserve it.

Just a few tips that can probably help you a bit:
-Both teams have different portals in the lobby: the chara team has the void which is the place where you get your weapons and stuff, and the sans team has the doodle sphere which has other extra characters that you can use.
-Keep in mind that most of the sans characters that come before classic sans are kinda bad.
-Both teams get EXP everytime they kill a sans or chara, EXP can then be used to upgrade your character and use skins (upgrades are really good for the sans team, some of them change their movesets and stuff)
-I'd recommend you grind for skins since some of them give you buffs and also change your moveset.
-The game also has a singleplayer mode which can give you wins and badges (one for the determination soul, one for distrust sans and another one for dustbelief I think)
-Almost all of the chara team characters are actually pretty decent and could help you a bit, the only downside is that they don't let you use another weapon.
It’s not really most sanses before classic are bad, it’s just that most sanses before classic are bad without upgrades

Hi! I’m glad to see that you’re trying out seemingly every Sans VS Chara that you can get your hands on! Few tips for your gameplay if you ever play this again:
1) Singleplayer is a good place to grind for wins, try to grind until 30 or 45 wins, but don’t grind too much, as you might accidentally lock yourself out of low wins, which isn’t great with no EXP.
There’s bad blood between the games for basically no reason (it’s really funny)
Now, go, and spend 50k on Muffet somewhere!
Was wondering when this would happen

nice to see merg playing this game, heres a few tips incase you ever read this. also this doesnt just have to be for merg, these are tips for anyone.
1. you dont need to win every round, the main important thing is getting kills since every kill gives 20 xp and xp can get you upgrades. also some upgrades need wins and skins have a set amount of xp/wins that are needed to be used but normally they need you to be fully upgraded (unless its cosmetic)
2. higher win cost doesnt mean its better, everything is designed to be similar power just better in some scenarios and have different playstyles
3. this game is a little buggy but once you get used to them and maybe play around them it isnt so bad
4. some characters are still outdated but every outdated character is planned to be updated at some point. also outdated doesnt mean its a worse character
5. over in single player you can fight bosses to unlock things and get wins (single player is being revamped soon so be on the lookout)
6. the green portal in the lobby brings you to low win servers where you will only play against players with 0-100 wins so you can play against people with similar skill and learn about the game more
7. in the barrier are all the souls you can use, all except determination cost 0 wins so you should try them all, there isnt just 1 thats better then the rest, they all have weapons and scenarios they are better for (except justice that thing is utter garbage) also i know determination gives a second life but its not the best soul for everything
8. knowledge is power, if you know your abilitys and your opponents abilitys you can predict what they will do and overall play better
9. the speed system is very simplified to a base number system. in settings you can turn on a ui thing that tells you your speed at all times. i recommend you turn this on. chara team has a base of 16 speed and sans team has a base of 14 speed
10. as sans, if you stand still you regen more stamina but you will lose 15 instead of 5 when you are hit
11. you almost always want shiftlock on, makes your life so much easier
12. if you hold left click with some weapons you can charge a critical attack which does more damage
13. sans team does not have dodges, if your stamina or health (if you have any) hits 0 you die
14. the meters of stamina attack speed and attack power are not accurate at all, do not trust them ever
15. fell frisk is bad to start but when upgraded they are pretty great but if you are not confident in your dodging abilitys i do not recommend using fell frisk
16. most sans team members with health have defense
17. you dont want to spam since that wastes all your stamina
18. most map attacks take away their stamina cost after they are made so this can put you into negative stamina and when you are negative you cannot regenerate so be careful
19. force pushes people in the direction you are facing and most attacks fire at your mouse
20. you are sometimes unable to use attacks because of them costing stamina, you have to manage your stamina for attacks and health
21. near the end of the video you mentioned weapon damage and stuff but keep in mind, all weapons have a purpose. stick is a support weapon since you can stun sans, increase your and your teammates damage a huge amount (thats what the number above sans when you hit them with an abillity is and what flex does) and you can increase your teams speed and defense. you can even pull sans to you and mess with their screen. also when you hold your button you are slower but you can dodge attacks (thats what the dodge on the right is) but mainly just remember, all weapons are designed to be equal
22. last tip, you can get more weapons in the void portal next to the play as yourself (PaY) and barrier
also yes im saying these at the start of the vid so idk if merg knows any but hope this helps.
and 1 last thing, this video was great merg :)
ULC gaming.
as a person who has like 449 wins im very hyped to see you play this!
Hey merg if you ever get 400 wins, play as Insanity and keep grinding till 5k exp. After that grind for 850 wins. Then you get the most epic upgrade oat
Dust, Classic, Fell & Killer upgrades: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
As papyrus you should use shift and for your first move
You should start using it with shift, since it's a bone jump but for the second use, you will have a big bone throw and what you should at the start of the round, is bone gap.
Some tips (prob wont reach merg but idk)
You can select new weapons when you "Play as Yourself" In Void
Stamina regenration depends on if you moving or not
Being hit or using abilitys takes stamian (that why u couldnt use abilitys sometimes, u just didnt had enough)
Kindness lowers your speed by 1, thats why ur so slow, its good for surviving but less effective for rushing or dodging.
And the upgrades are a thing for the friskes as well in which you need exp (if you want any more tips just ask)

first, go to singleplayer
fight and kill swap sans
THEN, go directly to dust sans...
dont click on dusts nose though otherwise it wont work

go to the void for weapons, doodlesphere for MORE sans',
and also, the upgrade thing next to every sans, you can click it to select upgrades

just like the newer ones more, i can aknowledge that the older ones are, well- older.

Old models were actually good at it's time
yeah@@Oleja2008
Pro tip : NEVER use flirt on Littletale.
Hmmmm
Don't you dare@@VeryRGOTI
Things you must know
1 the sans team encourages a slower gameplay as attacking or getting hit (if your character dodges) will take your STAMINA
Stand still will increase the number from the right which tells you the rate of stamina you're regenerating.
Getting hit while standing still will drain more of your stamina so make sure to not stand still if they're going to attack.
In the game modes you can find the single players which can be used to grind wins (easier start-up for new players)
And unlock:
- DT soul from chara fight
- Underswap badge (needed for distrust)
All the weapons have a description in the lobby as you saw PLS make sure to read them when you're going to use them as ALL THE WEAPONS have a passive and abilities
in the side of ANY CHARACTER including chara team there's a machine that says "upgrade" if you have it make sure to check it as it can give useful information for example fell frisk which is seen as GARBAGE has upgrades that increases frisk LEVEL and make him stronger
- Some pro tips:
While you have ACT open you move slower
Use any option if you can as THATS what makes stick good
Something's you missed:
Scientist sans "red/orange" laser does 0 DMG but push you away
All the skins of the game changes the whole gameplay of the original gameplay
The game keeps constantly adding and changing new content that's why as you probably saw chara team for example most of the models are really bad meanwhile all sans models are WAY better or you can see how attacks feel "old"
You can see a room which look like some kind of bar with dust on it. There's a gacha there that grands a skin randomly you can open 1 box each time you win
If you already have the skin it will give you a win
Scientist blasters explosion actually does dmg use it as an advantage to keep them away
Fun facts:
This game as ufs makes (sometimes as they're trying to make their own theme FOR ALL the characters) their OWN themes some you already had hear are ruins dust "now or never" (honestly my favourite theme)
This game is one of the oldest sans Vs chara games
This game is one of the ut games that changed THE MOST having 3 different era's
[Og-adrian(was the owner)- current game]
You don't get wins from dupe skins now
You only get wins from dupe legendary skins now
Also the red laser does damage, idk when but I believe it still has orange properties as well as pushing you away
Since people like arguing about if ufs or ulc is better I'll point out some flaws for both games:
-UFS
Not much to do after almost 300 wins.
Buggy as hell.
Needs some balance changes.
-ULC
Game is harsh for begginers, yes there are low wins servers but if you go up against people with thousands of wins (which there are a lot of) you'll barely able to survive starting out.
It's based too heavily on wins, while exp does help with this, once you get out of low wins server it'll be basically impossivle to get exp for the lower wins characters.
Also buggy as hell.
No movement system unlike in ufs.
Now here are some advantages that they have:
-UFS
Good graphics.
Expansive gameplay that allows for even starting players to be able to beat the highest win character as of now (ruins dust).
Varied types of characters that allow for different playstyles
-ULC
Massive amounts of characters.
Like
Even some new updates not just are pretty buggy at start, not just having some arguable rebalance decisions, but also repeat same old mistakes.
@@Oleja2008you have no idea how painful is Adrian's code ☠
@@noideawhatnametopick715 thanks for clarifying xd
The dodges for the stick only work if you are holding the act menu.
Also please play undertale judgement day (cuz I felt funny, at the start go to low wins server and let me tell you pacifist is good but you gotta know his moveset)
Glad you decided to play this, I’ve been playing for a long time and it’s one of my favorites
SUPER DUPER PRO TIP: aim your bone throw towards where you’re moving for more damage
:(
Merg going through Roblox Undertale fangames is so cool, been loving these videos! Love tje content Merg!
Also another mechanic are skins, which unlike ufs are (mostly) not cosmetic, they buff the chosen character or change it in some way.
undertale: judgement day has lost love fr
but if you want sheer number of sans options and equipment and stuff then it's the one to play
ujd is REALLY overwhelming compared to ulc or ufs
like the game is infamous for having characters with instakill moves
@@drearysol instakill moves aren't bad on their own, it's not only that
lots of cool undertale fangames on roblox i havent known about until recently it seems lol, cool stuff (and cool video 🍒)
You can press b to drop items for your teammates and doing that resets the item timer to 10 seconds
HE PLAYED UNDERTALE LAST CORRIDOR!!!! (Now ujd is next)
fun fact: Orange/Blue bones behave by input, this means that if you press 'W' or any other movement keys on a blue bone you will get a certain amount of damage
This is one of my favorite games of SvC (sans vs chara) i hope see other video of merg playing ULC ❤
i’m so happy you decided to play this game!
i recommend you to keep using science sans, you can use his laser walls to push charas back so you can regen some stamina, you can also camp in the blaster explosions.
every kill you get as sans or chara awards xp for that character, xp lets you unlock upgrades on that character and makes them stronger (you get 20 xp if you lose as chara)
fell frisk is really bad without upgrades but they get way better with upgrades.
heya merg!
REALLY happy you're checking out ULC, a few things to note:
1. you've probabl read from some other people about "Singleplayer", so heres a little tip. Fight swap sans, and then dust sans.
2. This game is not the most beginner friendly so, theres that.
Other than that, have fun.
Some tips for stick:
When you're holding out the act button you can use your dodge, which will let you get hit by 1 attack and take no damage
You do deal very low damage, but that's because stick is more of a support weapon, but you can also buff your attack up to 50 if you use the flex (attack damage doesn't really matter against stamina characters anyway, which always take the same amount of damage from melees usually)
this is why ulc is peak
(also remember to conserve your stamina, because most attacks cost stamina)
hi merg im a ulc veteran (like 4 years played) and everyone else has given you obvious tips so i'll give more obscure but still important:
1. Most sans attacks have a hitbox that appears a few seconds after use, meaning you should aim it to where the charas will be in ~2 seconds rather than where they are now
2. yes, ULC is slower and more methodical than UFS, you have to find a balance between strategic positioning away from attacks and going in for hits when Sans' attacks are on cooldown/making sure you're never fully vulnerable as Sans
3. most weapons are balanced against DODGING sanses, because they all take away the same amount of stamina, but you have to rely on "heavy hits" (charge-up attacks that deal more damage) to do anything against HP sanses with the Stick
4. more weapons in the Void, more characters in the Doodle Sphere
anyway thanks for playing this game it's very cool to see a huge youtuber like you play a relatively small game like ULC ❤
bruh I haven’t seen 1 person play ulc in so long, I wasn’t expecting merg of all people to play it
Wow I never thought I’d see you on here to, I hope you keep finding more of these games to play. Keep it up merg!
You also have stamina which if its low you cant use attacks standing still regains it
First (not to be like that but I can’t miss this opportunity)
No way he actually played this, that’s huge for this game
for good reason
This is the last time im gonna say this ULC IS NOT DYING TO UFS ☠️ MY GOD THEY HAVE LOW ACTIVE PLAYERS BECAUSE OF NO UPDATES AND THEY ARE WORKING ON ONE RN 🐟
@@ImUnderYourFridge I mean that as in ULC has more competition as its a race to who updates first and which update is better
Its not a competition both games have their own fanbase they do not have to fight for players
Eh fair enough
merg,a quick tip for attacks is that, some attacks currently/later on,also require shiftlock to use,so if you think its better for attacks like those, for example attacks that aim in front of you(like telekinesis, meeles later, etc) im not that good with giving tips but i hope this helps ^^
tl;dr : some attacks use your character's vision for aiming
yoo you were very good on your first attempt, here are some tips if you want to play the game more:
-singleplayer to grind wins and get determination soul (second life)
-weapons are in the void
-with sans team, stand still to regenerate more stamina in battle, be carefull tho because you loose more stamina if you get hit by chara team
-as sans for every kill you get 20 exp for that sans, with it you can get upgrades and get stronger, you can see the upgrades next to a sans in the lobby
-there are upgrades for the chara team too, but you also need exp for them, this is why underfell frisk was weak
-with every win you get a skin boxes that you can use to spin skins next to the shop
Hope I helped a bit, keep up the good work!
YES FINALLY IVE BEEN WAITING FOR MERG TO TRY ULC THANK YOU SO MUCH MERG, THE 4 YEARS WAIT WAS SOOOO WORTH IT.
tip for Merg about Underfell Frisk, at first they are really bad, but once you get enough EXP as them, you can raise your level with the upgrade system, giving you better HP and weapons, even a little Flowey on your shoulder that gives a green healing pellet every few seconds, though to unlock these upgrades, you need to beat Chara in singleplayer mode, which can be found by clicking the gamemodes tab on the main menu screen (opened when you join the game or by clicking the green button on the left)
Still not better than a majority of the weapons lol
@@Willysupergameri used uff and effectively became unkillable because of how fast and tanky it is
@@Xyphos Darn, May be misremembering due to them barely being used nowadays-
How do you get exp when literally every character destroys you now? (Even low wins)
@@Willysupergamer max uff has standard health, 92, a base speed of 18. which is pretty high and they have constant healing from flowey
if you put on kindness with uff, you have 17 HP, kindness (which is already good), and flowey
you can basically heal 20-40 HP every 30 seconds
@@Xyphos That’s pretty good!
But wouldn’t running DT with UF be better? You can still heal, let your other teammates heal, but if you suddenly get destroyed by something, you’d have a second chance!
merg needs to know that the stick, the act makes the sans weaker, and if you hold out the act when you get hit, you use up the 1 dodge that you have that shows in the middle right
edit: the dodge comes back, standing still as a sans makes you regenerate stamina faster
Hey Merg,I've been following you for a long time, so about the hardmode sans, the one with a cut on the head and melee attacks,he said ###### because it's censorship, basically you can remove censorship from Roblox, it won't allow everything but it won't be censored for several words all the time, what hardtale sans talked about, it was probably one of his lines where he said,"I'm going to teach your grandma how to suck eggs",It's not a joke, he actually says that lol.
the sans at 32:46 is HardTale sans, an AU created by a youtuber CedDrawsNear, and is used in a whole bunch of his animations (Also, Ced recently made HardTale Reset (part 1), which is just an animation series of the entire AU, if you're curious)
aaaaa I'm so happy I'm gonna enjoy every second of this
Hey merg, i love ulc and im glad to see you play it! Hope you find it as fun as I do and make sure you take the time to learn the mechanics! There is a learning curve to the game but (almost) every character and weapon can be viable with a few upgrades and practice.
I think he didn't had enough from final showdown so he went to play last corridor
But seriously, this game has so good music
I'd recommend you grind dust sans (since he is good and his snowdin upgrade is truly something)
Unpopular opinion: snowdin dust isn't a waterfall dust's powercreep.
Maybe they rebalanced it already, idk
@@Oleja2008 he is good tho
@@SansINess53 who
Honestly I see it as Snowdin an offense, while Waterfall is defense. I've experienced on practice how much Waterfall might be better in actually tough situations, so tbh I still would rate him higher for that
@@Oleja2008 but snowdin is still better, since waterfall is rushable idk why they nerfed his bone spears
This looks really interesting, I heared about this but didn't think it was so cool
36:20
its really really funny that hes right about that
Merg!! Yippe you finally played this game! It's pretty neat (considering im an OG from this game) :3
Some things of note that are a little bit more niche:
Make sure you take advantage of jumping. Some attacks (bone sliders, other ground based attacks) are meant to be dodged by jumping, others (like bone throws) are just easier to dodge that way
Later weapons (mainly the soul scythe and certain chara morph weapons) do have a "crit" feature thats a little wonky, but youll get the hang of it
This game has a single player mode where you can farm wins! On the menu before you load in, theres a button that says single player. It will take you to a seperate game where you can fight singleplayer versions of a few bosses, be warned they can get pretty hard. Theres also a secret dustswap encounter thats pretty challenging!
its so cute watching merg have no idea how to play I hope he plays it more and gets better :D
It's cool to see even more Roblox Undertale fangames, that also each have their own ideas and mechanics. I think this really proves that the UT community is one of the most dedicated game communities ever
We making in it to the last corridor with this one
btw merg you should actually use shiftlock SOMETIMES when your sans in this game, because some attacks direction are based on what direction sans is facing. (read my replies to this comment for a little more info)
Most bonethrows go at the direction of where u are clicking btw
One thing is that the reason why Underfell frisk (the character with 20 hp) was so bad was because they could be upgraded to be better, Also the reason why you cant use some attacks sometimes is because if you dont have enough stamina you cant use attacks (also if you get attacked when at 5 stamina or less the game sometimes glitches and gives you -# stamina which pretty much just means you lose because you cant regain stamina anymore for some reason)
@@KB15-k2f *low wins morphs have no redemption and excuse*
33:10 you my friend, just experienced hardtale sans.
If you want to play some other games on Roblox, I'd recommend a Backrooms horror game called Apeirophobia, where you progress through levels to the end through completing puzzles and surviving monsters. I think it's a really well-polished game with great graphics and sound design, personally one of my favorites :D
I kinda late to tell some *Tips*, hopeful ya read this
This game is different from the game you played before (UFS). On UFS, the best way to play Sans is to combo and run and combo until you lose/win. but on ULC, the best way to play Sans is CAMP, CAMP, and CAMP (Unless you use Hardtale Pacifist Sans or Horror Sans)
Sans use stamina as dogde/health, and also as mana to use skills.
Dont spam skill, it will make you die quicker
Some character is trash when it doesn't have any upgrades (like pasifist sans, last breath sans, etc)
If you use health character (like papyrus) and then your stamina runs out, you won't die immediately, and you can still regenerate stamina by standing still and tanking all the damage until you have enough stamina to fight again (but if you stamina is -1, it mean you will die even you use health character)
Grind like 30 wins on singleplayer mode before playing on low win so you can unlock some character and weapon to help you win in this game
Portal explanation :
Void portal : Weapon place
Barrier portal : Soul place
Portal on Sans team : See more Usable Sans character
Pacifist basically requires camping to use, weird how you include it on your characters which don’t camp
@@radboyparty7943 Hardtale Pacifist Sans, not Pacifist Sans
What pacifist sans that you keep seeing is, is a popularized concept of “what if you fought sans in the pacifist route?” Sort of like you can imagine a scenario where papyrus cracks down harder on sans for not fighting the human and he reluctantly agrees, having a not so serious battle with the human.

Merg, the black screen for genocide sans isn't a tp it's his phase 2
(For underfell sans' final attack you need to run in circle on the center) and for stamina, if you get hit while standing still you lose 15, while running/walking 5
(About stamina) Your stamina rate is how fast you gain stamina, if you stand still while not getting hit, you start to gain stamina faster until your stamina rate is at 35, your stamina rate is capped at 35 which means at 35 you cannot gain stamina faster
