Misplayed it multiple times I play Esix as a commander and if it worked the way yall played it my deck would be insanely more strong 😂 still good funny content!
As noted, Esix was played entirely wrong. It's the first time and only on your turn.
Each draw trigger is separate, so it doesn't do what happened in the video.
That path to exile on K'rrik instead of Xyris was crazy.
I love this channel, but a lot of the players on the videos have horrible threat assessment.
Both are dangerous if rowan was out all black spells will be free

Eh I wouldn't say it was bad threat assessment considering both cards are known for being extremely explosive but for xyris your making a bunch of snakes while Kirrik could win the game the following turn if he untapped with mana up
@@dotpic Yeah, a lot of these players are in the potato league. Every once in a while you see someone that knows what they are doing come to play. But it seems like they aren't invited back.

no one read essix it seems.
Esix is played completely wrong because it only works the first time he makes a token xyris ability triggers are all separate also esix doesn’t trigger on other peoples turns
I am at 7:15 in the video. The essix made 5 token copies of the priest. However even though the puzzle box draws you all of those cards at once.
I do believe that xyris makes the snakes individually. So he only wouldve made one priest
"During each of your turns". I am confused, if puzzle box is in your opponents turn; Essix shouldnt work..

I also think Justin totally misplayed the exile removal
It wasn’t relevant in the end, but I think Corwin should have gotten two poison counters off his one attack since Norn’s Decree triggers off of each instance of combat damage and the Lizard Blades has double strike. Thanks for the continued content by the way!

As a big W/B/x player, Tim's taste in commanders is spot on!
Based on your decklist you seem scared to hurt yourself which is not where you want to be at all with Rowan, also need way more card draw. Cut of the Profits and Damnable Pact are houses in Rowan, especially pact because you can use it as an enabler or just as a kill spell.
The moment Justin pathed K'rrik instead of Xyris, I knew the game was over.
While I know how rough it can be I love using the puzzlebox. That being said I know some of my friends don't so I use it sparingly.
In regard to rowan its played as rakdos storm. U need infinite life loss creatures (pay x life) on repeat, life gain and x spells. Some tips id tecomend are treasure cards which do something and make a treasure, with rowan its free. Aditionaly act of treachury effects since often they dont specify oponents creatures so u can use them to untap rowan
What was the replacement effect that let him make stuff other than snakes I was not able to understand nor find what did that

Wow this game had so many errors… I know commander is a big and confusing format but these are some pretty huge misplays that people who don’t read comments are going to be led down the wrong path. Normally I’m pretty cool minor misplays but this video is just so much. If I uploaded it honestly I’d have taken it down. I do greatly enjoy this channel though so keep up the great work!
For the amount of videos/games they have put out, you would think they would learn from their mistakes right? I've noticed they also have terrible threat assessments, which leads me to believe these games are somewhat scripted. I was corrected by someone in an old video with my similar response and they flat out told me, "Nah they just suck."
