  • can you find 2 hidden easter eggs in the video? ;P
    How our vintaged-inspired Dante Leather Watch strap is made.
    each leather strap that we produce is all carefully handcrafted & hand finished with the utmost attention to details. No two will be alike, making every strap unique to each owner.
    We only use Full Grain Italian Veg Tan leather to produce our leather watch straps. We always soaked our leather with natural oil & waxes to nurture & condition the leather properly (while giving it a nice shine as well). We use the combination of Lin Cable linen thread & High Quality Polyester Thread to handsticth our products then we soaked the edges with Tokonole before burnishing. All & all we Guarantee, if cared properly, our leather strap will stand against time & will age beautifully with the build up of patina.

    Nice strap. Could you make a video explaining the process and what you are using. I have yet to find a video that does this. Seems everyone purposely leaves out crucial steps.

    Great job! I think you might want to explore other glue options. That Fiebings cement IMHO is utter garbage. I'd go with barge contact cement. I don't know if it's available in every country, but you apply a thin layer to both surfaces and wait for maybe 5 minutes for the glue to get tacky (Still sticky, but not wet or dry). Once you get to that point, you can join the pieces and you'll get a fantastic hold. It beats holding things together for the rest of your life!!

      @@Bamboogalou dont ask me why my text was so messed up and backwards. Lol barge is better but I have found some that sucked. The strongest I found was tgwt clear tacky gel but you have to put it together then wait a long time to dry.

  • @Maplaplaplapla
    @Maplaplaplapla 4 года назад +2

    I don't know what camera equipment you use but there are some issues. The shutter speed should be around 1/50 to avoid choppiness, also the massive aperture makes sure that the shot is almost never in focus and mostly hurts the eyes to watch. A camera stand, even a monopod, would also be very beneficial.

      I think that the wax like paste is Fiebings Aussie Leather Conditioner for moisturizing. The white paste for the backside and the edges is Tokonole.

    Привет!Что за клей?

    • @ranox31337
      @ranox31337 5 лет назад +1

      Fiebings cement, очень дорогой клей. Тот же момент универсальный будет держать явно не хуже :) Кстати автор его использует не правильно, лучше тонкий слой 1-2 минуты выждать и плотно прижать(при этом слой клея должен еще оставаться влажным, а не сухим). Например, у kenda farben большой выбор клеёв на любой вкус. Sar 306 - полиуретановый, sar 30-e - наиритовый, ecosar 41-55 - латексный на водной основе (без запаха, замена тому, что в ролике). Роликов полно про это. Наирит и полиуретановый поищите на рынке на пробу(любой фирмы), если есть желание, а вот латексный придётся скорее всего заказывать, если не живёте в крупных городах.
