When I left my family's company to work for a much larger out fit out of all the iron they had the thing that impressed me most was the service truck with a Maintainer crane body(outlasted the first chassis, I helped put it on the 2nd 550) having all the tools, welder, torches plus motor oil, hydro and wast oil set up. Man I was so used to heading back to the shop and trying to think of all the tools we might need and throw them in a pick up and fix what ever it was myself, usually took 3 damn trips because I was always in a rush and forgot shit so the ability to call the shop on the radio and have the mechanic show up with about everything ever need was awesome

I remember many years ago we were sowing wheat , we worked 24hr 12 hour shifts it was a oliver 1850 and had a screaming Jimmy engine , i did the midnight to mid day , anyhow i was heading out to start my shift and noticed the combine wedged between two trees , because the other guy had'nt had much experence in the night and it was 18 ft wide he tried to go between 2 trees that the tractor just fitted through , so he got a bit of a talking to , so drummed it into him watch the combine when your near trees , so after spending most of the day fixing it , went to get a few hours kip , so it was my time to take over the paddock was over a thousand acres and i noticed there wasn't much done and could'nt see any lights ,so i followed to trail around and when i found it the front end was knocked out , this is gods honered truth what he did there was 3 trees just enough room for the combine but after us telling him to watch the trees , well the combine made it but there was a tree dead center , took the front end of and it was sitting on the ground , he was nowhere to be found , found out he packed it in an walked the 17 miles home , I think he knew that his services wouldn't be required again , just one of many stories working on the farm in Australia as a youngster

I know 3 of the mechanics from kubota don't live far from here and they will come whenever we need something and get us back going. We would never break off into that axle in the field. @robertheinkel6225 4 года назад

Every time you make a corner, either the inside or outside tire has to slip, due to the different radius of the turn. Putting the best tires in the inside, means the outside tire can slip easier, minimizing strain.

Heat it with a oxygen/acetylene torch. Seals are getting replaced anyways and should do bearings to.

You need a crane mounted on your service truck axels, tires, pumps.

Last vid i said at least a harbor freight one like i have on my f350 flatbed. I can load my 7500 watt gen without help. I made a 4ft cube box for hauling my tractor show camping gear and with it almost 1/4 full it creaks a little on full extension. Its made of 4 sheets of 1/2 osb and 50ft of 2x4. It stores and transports 200 watts of solar. My loader is handier and it can be full and pick it that way. You never know what you might use it for.
