You made the right decision in your suffering. Taking our suffering into the heart of Jesus. Meet Jesus in the Eucharist and Adoration. Pouring our heart out to Him. Jesus is the only one who can walk with us in our suffering, pain and betrayal. The pain does not disappear. But Jesus's presence in our hearts makes the suffering tolerable. Only Jesus. Jesus will allow us to go through pain until He is first in our lives.
And when we get to the other side of this suffering we look back and are grateful for the suffering. Without the suffering we would not have grown more in love with Jesus.

Oh my goodness. "There's three days from now". What a way to look at the darket moments of life. I'm prone to extreme depressive lows (a month or more) and thinking that there could be a better day tomorrow has kept me going. But I've never considered it in terms of the sorrows of Good Friday and glories of Easter Sunday.

WOW Jenna... I too felt the pain of betrayal in 2020. The pain is undescribable when the betrayal comes from someone who you love. But in the midst of that pain God brought me closer to him and showed me that my dependence should only be for the Lord. Years later I am grateful for that bitter pain that made me fall in love with God ❤. Even better the betrayer has also given their life to God. Miracles do happen ❤️

Beth, I totally felt like Jesus was part of every conversation at The Well; like, as you said, He was your dance partner who invited us to join in, be a part of, what you two have between you. The Well was such a beautiful, safe place to learn to dance with Him, to experience Him because you DO live to share your love of Him. God bless you 💝

OOF. I am deeply in love (hah) with your expression about how love is a human desire. I'm sick of the idea of "putting love on a pedestal" and "making love an icon". We desire love for a REASON- from Christ, from vows (in all forms), from our beloved children, and from community. It's all about the heart and intimacy in all of its forms!
