- When he is not filming How To Videos you might find Mike Green behind the wheel of his '66 GTO drag car. He does most of the work on the car himself with the help of friends and family. These passes were filmed at the 2011 Pontiac Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk Ohio. The air was hot and humid when this was filmed so times were off. As of August 2011 best pass is 10.531 @ 126.03 mph.

Beautiful GTO!
Nice GTO! Norwalk is Heaven for us Pontiac Lovers!
That track is nice, they let people get close to the burnout action, the facility is so clean, and the people are friendly!
@nutbagbrew102 I did not build the current motor in this car. I intend to build a good stout Pontiac motor within the next 2 years for it. Aftermarket block heads and the works.
sounds mental. Love that you kept a Pontiac motor in there.
@theclubman Yes Built Turbo 400. Plans are actually to go to a jericho or similar 4 speed.
@thisisunreal1 Thanks!! Glad you like the how to's AND the racing.
@chapel976 I started out at 6 years old helping my father restore his GTO. My personal preference is Pontiac. That being said, I don't discriminate, I like seeing what people do with Chevy's, Fords, Mopars, Hondas, Toyotas, Mitsus, whatever. Have fun with it.
NICE!!!!!!!!!!!
My 67 leaves that same way... Cracked the frame twice on the left side because of it..... lol.....
Can Not Beat a GTO !!!
@chapel976 Thanks for watching. Your mom sounds like she was a hell of a lady! I say go with that wagon theme, a 78-83 Lemans wagon, rip out the v6 or smogged v8 it comes with and stick a 400 in there. Good Luck!
@Bran247 Agreed! The track is great and people are awesome. Wish the weather was cooler but you can't have EVERYTHING :)
@theclubman I like the shot of the launch at 4:41 personally - Mike
@1aauto my mom's first car was a 69 GTO 400 4speed in Carousel Red. She passed away in 2009. My first car was a HORRIBLE 1993 Grand Am SE (115hp 3speed auto)... My mom's 86 Caprice Classic Wagon was also outfitted with a pre-smog Pontiac 400 with a 700R4 (installed days after purchase by a local wrench). I' looking to get back into a Pontiac though. I'm done with the imports. I need a V8! I'm local to you guys. I know Jeremy.
what is the point of disliking this video?
Awesome Footage and an awesome car. Keep it up
@m5115m Thank You, very well put.
did you build the motor ? nice GTO !
I kinda hate how they made the 04-06 GTO look. but then again it does surprise the hell out of people when it leaves them in the dust. it looks pretty dang normal
@1aauto I've been trying to find my mom's 69 GTO, but no leads to start from. I wouldn't mind building a 69 Tempest wagon as a GTO Wagon clone. Guy next door to me is selling a 74 LeMans coupe though.
i think he had some hi po pontiac parts from summit
Mike Marquardt nah I bet it's stock
daaaaaaaaaaaame !
Bro do you even Lift???
Nice not bad =)
how can you not like a 40 second goat?
There's no way a goat would run 1,320 ft in only 40seconds, a whitetail deer maybe...
How can you not like a 10 second 66 goat...lol..Thanks for watching.
@nutbagbrew102 My best suggestion would be to join the Pontiac Oakland Club and/or GTOAA. A google search on either will get you to their sites. They both have great technical staffs and can point you in the right direction with all aspects of your Lemans
See you there in August!
Awesome car!
Holy crap dude, that's one sweet Goat! I like your how to vids but, ya gotta start putting some more of these up! Cheers!
@1aauto thanks for reply - what motor is best for bracket racing as me and my teenage son are fixing up a 68 Le Mans to bracket race any suggestions - we have low budget but love the sport! thank you -
this video is in a better condition than my sighting, haha
I really loved your clip.
How much power are you putting to the ground?
My car is the bast =^_^
