I saw this concert 2 weeks after this video was shot. Tesla opened during this tour. Tesla's hometown is Sacramento, CA. When Def Leppard rolled into town with Tesla the concert was immediately sold out. ARCO arena had a 6 second echo with plywood floors. This is one of my favorite Def Leppard songs, but it’s also one of my favorite videos because of how it’s directed. Every strong beat has an action, like someone jumping from a height, or a hand clapping in the audience. Throughout the entire video! And it makes it so exciting to watch. I’ve watched this video probably 100 times and never get tired of it. I’d love to know who directed it and see other videos by this person!
You mention the “rap” sound of the verses and then vocalized the rhythm, and I realize how much it sounds like Queen’s “We Will Rock You”. Definitely must’ve been an influence.
I'm sure this has been said many times but it can't be emphasized enough. Any band or group of people that just made and sold one of the biggest rock albums ever in history and took a several year hiatus just to let their drummer band member heal and regroup so he could rejoin the band. Those are people with serious integrity and deserve much admiration. They did not even know if the man would ever be able to or even want to drum again. But they risked their whole Superstar status just when they got to the top and put their band on hold. It simply amazes me because almost any other band would have got a replacement drummer almost immediately. Even if it was just temporarily they would have replaced the drummer and toured and rode that wave of success.
I was a freshman (girl) the year of the accident. Already a huge DL fan. The next day in school everyone was really quiet and discussing it. For the next few weeks people would greet each other with "Any news about Rick Allen?" When the re-attachment failed, we were all so sad, girls cried, we worried he wouldn't make it. We were not, however, surprised that he stayed with the band and worked through it. A very good example for my generation at the time.
I’ve always loved that story about Rick Allen and how the band displayed such a sense of true loyalty. They could have easily told him that they couldn’t wait, that he was being replaced. Instead they rallied around him to support him, and they believed in him so much they waited for him to set up a new drum kit and relearn how to play with one arm. I think we all like to watch reactors when they play Def Leppard, especially this song, just to see if they look closely enough to see him drumming with one arm.
I saw Def Leapord in Tulsa a few years ago. They brought the arena down with Pour Some Sugar On Me. After the concert, the light went down and they were in the stage talking to people in the audience. What a class act!!!
This is when music WAS MUSIC. No auto tune! Just REAL Authentic voices and REAL TALENT! If people need to use auto tune to sing. Imo people shouldn’t be singing
My hubby and I were at this concert. In the old Atlanta Omni, which has since been torn down. It was a concert in the round and Queensryche opened. I believe that ATL was the opener for the entire tour, which I think was their first tour since Rick Allen's accident. It was electric.
I saw Def Leppard for their Hysteria tour 1988, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They were playing everywhere and were especially well received to see Rick Allen playing drums, after the accident that took his left arm. Unfortunately, timing has never been on my side, when they have been back on tour to see them again but Def Leppard is my favourite band.
When Def Leppard's drummer Rick Allen lost his arm in 1984 car accident he learned how to play the drums with one hand and using his feet hooked up to a bunch of extra foot pedals to simulate what his other arm would have done if you still had it, it's amazing and so is he. It took him a long time to learn how to play the drums all over again in the new way. Try these tunes - Hello America - Bringin' on the Heartbreak (version 1) - High 'n' Dry (Saturday Night) - "Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop) - Foolin - Rock of Ages (which inspired the Broadway play to use the same name and the movie starring Tom Cruise) PS when Def Leppard saw the movie starring Tom Cruise they throught Tom Cruise did a better job at singing their songs than they did.
Somewhere around "86" when I lived in Redmon, IL Def Leppard came to Champaign, IL and performed at the University of Illinois Assembly Hall (now the State Farm Center). I collected up the money for the tickets from 22 people (kids & adults) and went to the box office (about 60 miles away) and purchased the tickets. I got 11 seats in the 11th row on one side of the stage and 11 seats in the 10th row on the opposite side of the stage (they performed in the round) at the pinnacle of "Pour Some Sugar On Me". Needless to say, everyone was thrilled I secured floor seat for the event. I'm 68.5 years old now and it was a blast and that was back when ticket prices were reasonable (about $35.00 a piece). Also check out CMT Crossroads, Def Leppard & Taylor Swift together, interesting combination and a banger too.
I feel one of my biggest accomplishments as a parent is taking my kids to a rock festival with Def Lepard, Styx, CCR and Lynard Skynard and my kids knowing the words to almost every song and rocking out with them and my husband. One of all of our favorite memories!
Who was the singer for Styx? Was it Lawrence Gowan? He is a Canadian musician by his own right with songs like Criminal Mind, Strange Animal and Moonlight Desires.
New Kids were quite awhile after this. One of my favorite bands. I was born 1970, so mid 80’s this came out. This was my SECOND CONCERT! First was Journey, Escape Tour at 12 years old. Great times. Nothing like a great rock concert.
Im a mom of four, my kids were born in the eighties, listened to this music, I still listen to it and am now teaching my grandchildren the music of my youth.
@Lichan11 Kids love this music, I love this music and back in the 80's I got my Dad to rock to this band, and it ended up being his 2nd favorite band, which the Beatles was his #1
Rick Allen is also an EXTREMELY talented Artist! He has a display in an Art Gallery! Beautiful beautiful work. There is I believe an ABC special interview with him telling his story & also showing his paintings
I saw these guys the 1st time when their only album (On Through The Night) was out. They were opening for Blackfoot and the drummer had both arms. That album had a different sound but was still a banger.
They still rock hard at concerts. They've been traveling for several years, on and off, with Journey. Got to see one of those shows, and was impressed. This song hits so hard when you can feel the base drum in your chest.
Check out their UK Concept video for this song and you’ll see more of Rick “Thunder God” Allen drumming with his one arm. This from their “in the round” during their Hysteria tour. Def Leppard is such an amazing group of brothers. They look out for each other. After their drummer lost his arm they waited to see what he wanted to do. A friend left a radio in his room and he found himself tapping along to the song with his feet so he worked with an electronic drum kit group to make all the sounds he would do with his left arm be set on pedals for his feet. Their first live concert they hired a backup in case it was too much for Rick. The backup was late so they went on and when he got there he told them that they didn’t need him that Rick was amazing. Rick didn’t realize until he started dating his current wife that he had PTSD from the accident. She helped him get help and now along with music he paints artwork and has a charity called Raven Drum Foundation which serves, educates, and empowers trauma survivors and communities in crisis, with a focus on Veterans and First Responders. His wife is also a musician who he plays drums for. Check out Lauren Monroe’s music. 3:23 a lot of artists tried to or were forced to try to mimic this song cause of its popularity. 5:23 listen to their song “Let’s Get Rocked” for innuendos. Some of the guys have side gigs going on. Lead singer Joe Elliott has another group called Down ‘n’ Outz and Vivian Campbell (who used to play in the band Dio) has a band called Last in Line that consists of former Dio band members who plays Dio songs and has some of their own. They chose their name from a 1984 Dio album. If you see a cover band playing in your area called Pyromania definitely check them out. They’re the only Def Leppard cover band approved by Def Leppard. Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell and Pyromania’s lead singer play together in the band Last in Line.
One of my favorite bands ever. And not just for their music, which is kickass, but because of their loyalty to their drummer as he recovered from a car wreck in which he lost his arm. They waited for him to heal and hired an engineer to design a drumset with extra pedals to compensate for his missing arm. And then they went nuclear!! Amazing story!
You really should check out Sugar, Sugar by The Archies. It's a fun, kid-safe, bubblegum-pop song from the late 60's. My folks had it on a compilation 8-track, so I grew up listening to it. I loved it because it's catchy and the lyrics (though I didn't know what they meant) are easy to understand and remember. 🤘Rock on, Kelly 🤘
Def Leppard singer Joe Elliot didn’t always wait until the “ after party” to get his sugar on …. He’s told stories of how during the drum solo or guitar solo that he would take the stage elevator down below to a waiting female fan for a “ quickie “ during the show ! The ‘80’s were all about sex , drugs and rock N roll !
Nothing filled the dance floor faster than this song back in the day! My 19 year old BFF and I saw Def Leppard at Red Rocks Colorado Cinderella and Europe opened, it was fantastic! Def Leppard was phenomenal and they did a killer laser light show on the rocks, great time to be alive back then🤘🏼😎
Their producer, Mutt Lang eventually married Shania Twain. Def Leppard was alway high on my play list back in the day as I was 16-19. They always put on a great concert.
Def Leppard's songs were great and amazing, rocking songs. but not only did their songs top the charts, it's also their story as a group that was even more amazing.
I saw them at Pine Knob twice and once at another venue, but Pine Knob is my favorite concert venue of all my 60 years. Always have a great time on hill.
@PANIC_aka_PinD Great memories! Now I'll really date myself by telling you my very first Pine Knob experience. It was I was 15 years old. My older brother took me along to the Jackson Brown concert for free if I'd help him sell his No Nukes t-shirts. 😂 I was sold on that venue from that day forward❤
This band is the poster child (for me anyway) of how the love of music will make you overcome any personal challenges. Rick Allen is an inspiration to so many people and they still rock as hard today as they did the first time I saw them in the 80s. Such a great live band.
I've seen these guys in concert numerous times and women still throw "things" on stage and pull up their shirts.😅 They're awesome and I have always loved photograph and love bites.
My fist concert as a teen in Spokane, WA. When Tesla opened, I remember how terribly distorted their sound stage was, then Def Leppard came out with much cleaner non distorted music with large laser light show. It was like night and day.
I don't remember the date. But I saw them here in Billings, Montana. The stage was in the round and Tesla was the opening act. We were right up front and I caught a guitar pick from Tesla's lead guitarist. Rick's drum solo was awesome with the turning drum kit and the green laser pyramid.
@@saplingthrasher23 When you say the stage was in the round do you mean it was in the middle of the floor? That was one unusual thing I remember about that concert vs many of the others I saw at that arena. I remember there was a huge curtain around the stage the main lights went off and the stage lights turned on as the curtain dropped and the band rose up from the middle of the stage on a platform.
Easily their biggest hit, but they had so many bangers!! Love Bites, Let's get rocked, Animal, Bringin on the heartbreak, Rock of ages, Photograph, Foolin, Have you ever needed someone so bad....Their rabbithole is deep! Definitely check out The Archies!! 🙌
The band waited for him to relearn to play the drums using his foot in place of what his left arm\hand would do. It took about 3 yrs. He lost his arm in 1984 and they didn't tour again til 1987 which was the Hysteria tour. Drummers name is Rick Allen.
Oh my God, the number of Def Leppard concerts. I went to back in the day. That was back when you had to go wait in line months before the actual concert to buy a ticket. We waited in line outdoors all night in the winter for a summer concert ticket. I’m at the drummer, he was a nice guy.
I used to live in the lead guitarist Phil Collen’s neighborhood. Moved to the coast after the kids went off to college. Used to see Phil with his wife Helen at the local Starbucks.
Def Leppard & Taylor Swift teamed up in 2008 for an episode of Crossrads on CMT. Swift was 17 and a skyrocketing country star at the time. The episode them sharing perfoemances including Def Leppard's 'Photograph', 'Pour Some Sugar on Me' and 'When Love and Hate Collide', as well as Taylor's 'Love Story', 'Teardrops on My Guitar' and 'Our Song'.
"Pour Some Sugar On Me" played every 60 minutes in the US in 1988 hitting number 2 spot on the Billboards right behind "Hold On to the Nights" by Richard Marx. I can remember this song playing everywhere from Fairs to Mall's, you name it. Great times the 80's were.
The first time I saw them was when Rick came back after his accident. What a concert. He did a solo that was so amazing and special. A moment I'll never forget!
The Adrenalize show in Erie was one of the very best I went to. They had the 3 disc platform stage in the center so there were no bad seats in the arena.
Was fun to see your expression when you finally caught the drummer playing with one arm. I was waiting for it because I have seen this video many times and they show the drummer multiple times throughout. This was definitely one of those top fun feel good dance songs of the 80s. No matter where you are or what you are doing, this song can pick you up and make you feel good. For adults, it is clearly sexual innuendo. Not sure about other regions, but in the southeastern U.S., "sugar" can simply mean kisses. Like you can tell your kiddos to give you some sugar before sending them on their way or tucking them in for the night, etc. That makes it radio friendly and playlist friendly as well.😘
I used to be good friends with Rick Savage's cousin, he used to talk about his cousin's band as though they were playing out of his mother's garage. It wasn't until he said something one day that made me connect the dots. It was funny. A really nice family, they helped me out when I was in need.
Him loosing his arm in a car accident and then re-learning to drum with both feet and one arm was such a story. The band stuck together with him, supported him and he came back. They had that kit made especially to work for and with him. One of the best stories in rock.
Hard to have more respect for any other band. Rick was 15 yrs old when he joined Def Leppard. They were all sitting in his parents kitchen with lawyers signing papers.
Shania Twains ex husband Mutt Lange was responsible for the production of their earlier hits, then went on to work with Shania Twain. He also contributed to some of the vocals and you can hear his voice in the background on Shania songs as well. I hear the same background singers.
Steve Clark passed away from alcohol issues. TESLA has a song they wrote about him you should check out called “Song & Emotion”. It’s a wonderful song!!!
I remember when the first time I heard this band in 1980. They were all the same age I was. They were teenagers. I told my friend this band is going to be huge! And they are
Such a BANGER! This got the party kicked into another gear back then. The entire HYSTERIA album is killer from start to finish with so many hits. Every song on the album is great! Saw them live in the round, which is shown in the video and the band runs all around the circle while the drum turns. It was one of the best stages for live performances I have seen. Their interaction with the audience was so much better than a stage at the end of the arena. Def Leppard were hugely influenced by T-Rex, Bowie, Sweet, Thin Lizzy & Slade, amongst others. Their sound, while rock driven was formed from such a diverse style of musical influences. The guys in the band used to brag about the sex that went on under the stage when there was a break. Each band member would go under the stage, others would be on stage and girls would be under the stage waiting to have some fun. The debauchery of the 80's. LOVE IT! Rick Allen's story is incredible. Started in the band at the age of 15. Rick had two arms and lost his arm on New Years eve of 1984 in a car accident where he rolled it into a sheep pasture, fortunately saved by some neighbors. As others have said, he never thought he would play again. The rest of the band stood behind him, waiting for him to heal. This was a make or break moment for them. Their Previous album, PYROMANIA was a successful album but not enough so and their label was going to drop them if their next album didn't do well. For the band to hold tight to Rick while he learned how to play a new set of drums under that threat speaks volumes. He had a special drum kit designed for him with foot pedals making up for his lost arm. HYSTERIA was produced by Robert "Mutt" Lange, who also did their Pyromania album, AC/DC - Back In Black album and many other rock albums. He was regarded as one of the best producers for rock albums at the time. He focused these young men and got Hysteria done in 1987. The first single released was "Women". Great song but did not crush it on the charts. Then they released "Animal". Another great song but it wasn't moving the needle enough for the record label and it was questionable if they would be dropped. Then they released "Pour Some Sugar" and the video to MTV. It blew up and these guys flew into the Stratosphere. It blew new life into the two previous songs and each single released after was also a hit. None as big, but certainly made the record label very happy and is considered one of the best albums in rock history. Rick Allen's efforts to learn how to play without an arm, the bands loyalty to him and the entire story is one of fables. But the band had another unfortunate incident happen when their bandmate, Steve Clark died of alcohol & drugs in 1991. All of the success, the partying, the women and the lifestyle that these guys had was too much for Steve. RIP Steve Clark.
Ah my high school days, played this whole album (cassette), AC/DC, and Guns & Roses all the way through. Love it! Gotta play Def's song Excitable - was so fun scooping the loop w the stereo blaring w that song!
12:45 In reference to drummer Rick Allen's having one arm. After they'd wrapped up touring from their 3rd album, Pyromania, Rick, and his girlfriend at the time were driving through the English countryside when this jerk driving an Alfa-Romeo came screaming past Rick and started slowing down to the point that Rick had to slow down and whenever Rick tried to pass him, the other driver would speed up trying to keep Rick from passing him and this kept on until Rick had lost control of his car and flipped it, which he was thrown from the car, and his left arm was hung up in the shoulder strap of the seat belt which pulled his arm off. The doctors had reattached his arm, but Rick developed an infection that was so bad they were forced to permanently amputate the arm to get the infection to clear up
And don't forget - after the drummer had his accident -- the band took time out to allow him to re-learn his craft with one arm--- that's how cool and caring these men are. You effen have to just love them all.
Mid 1988. I was 13. I heard this come on the radio and completely lost my mind. This was the last song written for the album which was finished. Mutt heard Joe tinkering with a guitar and was like. “ stop! What is that? We have to record that!” They had spent 3 mil recording hysteria And the label was not happy they wanted it released. Mutt and Joe got a hold of the other guys and said hey we got one more song. Joe said in an interview, there was more than a few eye rolls.
I was lucky enough to see this tour in Atlanta twice. Once in the beginning of the tour and again at the end. I’m so freaking glad. RIP Steve. Love him

I don't think most bands would have done that. The really cool back story to them.
He learned to play with both feet to make up for his lost arm.
And just think about how good you have to be to learn how to play like that
When Rick Allen was in a car crash and ended up losing his arm
He assumed he was out of the band.
When they visited he told that you're not going anywhere. We are family.
Mad respect for that.
Most bands would have kicked him to the curb. Total respect!
I feel so fortunate being a teenager in the 80’s. Def Leppard was one of my favorite bands. Besides their music it was the bond between the band members. Same here! I saw them here in Seattle during the Hysteria Tour. It was excellent. Love these guys!
youy know Def's drummer has only one arm? Instead of getting a new drummer, the band waited for him to heal and learn how to play one handed
Thank you I was telling my friends there was a band whos drummer only had one arm and I couldn't remember which band so they thought I was crazy❕❗
His drum kit has extra foot pedals to compensate for only having 1 arm.
And he's a damn good drummer too
I was a kid through that era and the wait was killer as they were one of the best bands of the time... but what a great way to honor your friend!!!
They have been a great band of brothers. In addition to waiting for Rick Allen to recover from loosing an arm, they also waited for guitarist Vivian Campbell to recover from cancer. They do not replace they stand by.
The story behind the drummer is so freaking inspirational!

A Lil known drummer named Phil Collins helped design a drum kit for Rick. Next song "Too late".
Too Late For Love
This doesn't surprise me. Phil would help him with the setup. It is just drummer to drummer. He understood just how deep that NEED to continue doing what runs so deep inside a drummer. Pardon the bad pun here ~ just banging to get out.

I loved the Def Lepard concert I went to in the 80's.

One of favorite bands. Seen them 3 times in concert, in 3 differentvenues!!!!! And they killed it EVERY time.....ELECTRIC!!!!
RIP Steve Clark
Did you notice the one-armed drummer Rick? Most reactors are not paying attention and don't even notice the amazing playing ability of this one-armed man/drummer!!!
There are reactors who have noticed Rick playing drums with one arm. Rob Squad Reactions were one of them.
Rick is a Beast❤. The band knew he would come back.
Def Leppard is my Dad's favourite band PERIOD. I learned the lyrics to their entire greatest hits album before I knew how to do multiplication because of him. THANKS DAD!❤
1st time I seen them I was 16 yrs old…I saw them last month and I’m now 52…they still got it 😉
54 here and same!!
They always seem to be having fun when they’re performing. Some bands are just going through the motions, but not them.
Def Leppard is my favorite old school group. I see them in concert every tour. I just saw them in Orlando with Journey. They still have.

Try these tunes
- Hello America
- Bringin' on the Heartbreak (version 1)
- High 'n' Dry (Saturday Night)
- "Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)
- Foolin
- Rock of Ages (which inspired the Broadway play to use the same name and the movie starring Tom Cruise) PS when Def Leppard saw the movie starring Tom Cruise they throught Tom Cruise did a better job at singing their songs than they did.
80's music ruled!!!!
@Lichan11 Kids love this music, I love this music and back in the 80's I got my Dad to rock to this band, and it ended up being his 2nd favorite band, which the Beatles was his #1
Just saw them live in Toronto! Amazing concert, still rockin' hard in their 60s.
All of Det Leppard is awesome.. every single song! Just like Iron Maiden & Pink Floyd, Det Leppard only makes hits..hits to us no matter any charts.
These guys have a phenomenal story. I was fortunate to grow up when these guys were on the rise!! They had an excellent concert back in the day!!
Andy Kim was the singer of that song, I believe. He had hits with Baby I Live You and Rock Me Gently.
Also rockin robin
The Monkee's and the Archies, All in the Family, the Munsters, Hee Haw, Oh for those days again. ✌
Def Leppard singer Joe Elliot didn’t always wait until the “ after party” to get his sugar on …. He’s told stories of how during the drum solo or guitar solo that he would take the stage elevator down below to a waiting female fan for a “ quickie “ during the show ! The ‘80’s were all about sex , drugs and rock
N roll !
Nothing filled the dance floor faster than this song back in the day! My 19 year old BFF and I saw Def Leppard at Red Rocks Colorado Cinderella and Europe opened, it was fantastic! Def Leppard was phenomenal and they did a killer laser light show on the rocks, great time to be alive back then🤘🏼😎
Saw them in Concert a couple of years ago and they sounded just as good live as their albums!!!
Their producer, Mutt Lang eventually married Shania Twain. Def Leppard was alway high on my play list back in the day as I was 16-19. They always put on a great concert.
Oh you are definitely reacting to some classics and its really great to see.............another great reaction as always!
The whole Hysteria album rocked!😊
It defined the second half of the 80's for sure.
Def Leppard's songs were great and amazing, rocking songs. but not only did their songs top the charts, it's also their story as a group that was even more amazing.
I saw these guys back in August of '81 at Pine Knob warming up for Ozzy when essentially no one even knew who they were. What an incredible show!
I saw them at Pine Knob twice and once at another venue, but Pine Knob is my favorite concert venue of all my 60 years. Always have a great time on hill.
@@jillykz I remember buying the round plastic Olympia kegs, finishing our beer, then rolling them down the hill. Good times :) .
This was my first concert when I was 12 years old...lol. It was a great one!
Lucky you! Great memory 😊
Always been a big fan of their layered guitars…so solid…
This band is the poster child (for me anyway) of how the love of music will make you overcome any personal challenges. Rick Allen is an inspiration to so many people and they still rock as hard today as they did the first time I saw them in the 80s. Such a great live band.
I've seen these guys in concert numerous times and women still throw "things" on stage and pull up their shirts.😅 They're awesome and I have always loved photograph and love bites.
I saw them on the Hysteria tour the same one as the video shows, in Birmingham Alabama on December 16th. Tesla was the opening act that night.
Tesla is great.
Do not remember anything about the opening act but was at this concert at the old Omni in 1988 Atlanta! Great show love the stage turning around!
My fist concert as a teen in Spokane, WA. When Tesla opened, I remember how terribly distorted their sound stage was,
then Def Leppard came out with much cleaner non distorted music with large laser light show.
Now you need to check out - The Archies - Sugar Sugar
T-Rex - Bang a Gong and 20th Century Boy
Ohhhh yes sugar sugar who can not be happy and want to dance to this song ❤️
Definitely
Get It On (Bang A Gong). No one calls it that,we just call it Get It On.
I saw these guys live when they toured for this album, Hysteria, and they were fantastic!!
i still have pyromania on CASSETTE tape!
The band waited for him to relearn to play the drums using his foot in place of what his left arm\hand would do. It took about 3 yrs. He lost his arm in 1984 and they didn't tour again til 1987 which was the Hysteria tour. Drummers name is Rick Allen.
It really was a gift to be in your 20’s in the 1980’s!!!
Spot on. The early 80's was a perfect time to be a teen and late 80's a young adult.
Whitesnake is another awesome hard rock band " Still of the Night" and"here i go again"and great guitars in these!❤
❤❤❤
Still of the Night is my fave by them.
IMO, radio stations should've played this over and over instead of Here I Go Again.
Just saying 😁
Oh my God, the number of Def Leppard concerts. I went to back in the day. That was back when you had to go wait in line months before the actual concert to buy a ticket. We waited in line outdoors all night in the winter for a summer concert ticket. I’m at the drummer, he was a nice guy.
I used to live in the lead guitarist Phil Collen’s neighborhood. Moved to the coast after the kids went off to college. Used to see Phil with his wife Helen at the local Starbucks.
Omg. Was at this concert in Sacramento and I ended up the guitar pick from the lead guitar player. This was I believe 1987-88. Awesome concert
One of my fav songs, bands. "Bringin On the Heartbreak" has some of my best memories.
Def Leppard Number One hard rock GREAT band........
One of the most amazing 80/90s rock bands. Too many hot singles to count.
I have seen them at least 15 times. My favorite band all time.
THE band of the 80's and still hitting the road.🤟
This band is in my top 10 favorites of all time and there is a lot of music floating around. I will always love Def Leppard!!!❤
Absolutely Love Def Leppard! Thanks 🧡 Much Love!
Being a teen in the 80s was the best! Saw them in concert in 1990/91 .. they’re amazing!
This video was filmed in Denver CO while on tour. I was 13 and at this show. Great memory.
We played this at our wedding and every single person was dancing. It was amazing 😂
Him loosing his arm in a car accident and then re-learning to drum with both feet and one arm was such a story. The band stuck together with him, supported him and he came back. They had that kit made especially to work for and with him. One of the best stories in rock.
I've seen them many times in concert and as recently as this year in San Diego. The place goes nuts when they play this song. So good!!!
I'm a 80's kid which was the best Era for music. When I was in high school we would sing "pour some sugar on me and lick it off."
Def Leppard is featured in a nice little film on Netflix called 'Bank of Dave'... well worth your time
The absolute DEBAUCHERY going on under that stage during the drum solo of this concert…um, so I’ve heard…
Ya I heard that Joe elliot would be winding the crowd up as the other guys took little breaks to go under and enjoy
I watched Def Leppard play this song in 2022 in Detroit alongside Joan Jett, Poison, and Motley Crue. I went with my Dad.
The Strippers Anthem in the 80's !!! Killer song !!!
One of my favorite concerts! ❤❤❤❤❤
Ah my high school days, played this whole album (cassette), AC/DC, and Guns & Roses all the way through. Love it! Gotta play Def's song Excitable - was so fun scooping the loop w the stereo blaring w that song!
Def Leppard is up ther with AC/DC and Maiden among the best metal band of an era!!
Icons they are for sure...

In reference to drummer Rick Allen's having one arm.
The doctors had reattached his arm, but Rick developed an infection that was so bad they were forced to permanently amputate the arm to get the infection to clear up
I guess they never found the creep driving the Alpha Romeo?
I have a lot of def Leppard on my playlist and this is one of them. This is a great one
1984, Scarlett’s night club on Guernsey. I was 15 and pissed up on southern comfort on the DF rocking to this!!!!!!!
I was lucky enough to see this tour in Atlanta twice. Once in the beginning of the tour and again at the end. I’m so freaking glad. RIP Steve. Love him
