thank you so much for the lecture, all my problems were solved. everything is understandable.
Why did u fill 6 instead of 1 for Irish and Maths only??.
Did you already get the answer ??
The keyword was "only". She didn't subtract 5 from 6 since 5 refers to the people who liked all three subjects. So the people who liked Math and Irish ONLY, is still six.
Posted three years ago but has helped me today. Thanks so much.. Keep up the good work

In a survey, 100 tourists were asked which of the three game parks Luangwa, Kafue and Nsonbu had they visited. The responses were as follows;
24 had visited Luangwa only
30 had visited Kafue only
25 had visited Nsombu only
18 had visited Luangwa and Kafue only
17 had visited Kafue and Nsombu only
16 had visited Luangwa and Nsombu only
x had visited non of the three game parks.
(i) Illustrate this information on a Venn diagram
ii) Using your Venn diagram, find the number of tourists who visited;
a) all the three game parks
b) Two game parks
c) Only one game park

Is the number inside the big circle the only people who like or the *'only'* people who chose it?
The one on A circle is the only people who picked only on A?
And also what is the use for that
Universal minus Sum of all in the circles for?
Like U=110 - 94 = 16 what is the 16 for?

3:01 you made a mistake. The people who like Irish &math must substract from all common. So,that would be 1 instead of 6.
That's a weird way to write X but thanks
Hi, this is the convention so that we do not get mixed up with the multiplication sign 'x'.
Please can I ask a question am a little confused the x was positive when you were calculating you wrote negative x I really don't get please explain that to me thank you
Question, for the last one, how comes we dont ignore the 5? Cause we were told they didnt like any of the 3. Shouldn't we equate to 45?
hey, i just want to ask why is that on the first problem, students who irish and math is 6 but you forgot to subtract 5 thus the number should be replace 1 and not 6. just saying!
