    Sir,, the kind of knowledge i am getting here is at another level. Although I would like if you make video describing the minute parts of a steering system like the hydraulic oil distribution and various pumps and filters used in the system and various solenoid valves or the parameters in the pump.

    This is what is written in the text books but when we go through all the manuals (about 8-9) , the 2 Ram has been identified as "single ram 2 cyclinder" and the 4 ram as" 2 ram 4 cylinder ".
    They have considered the port ram and stbd ram as one single Ram.
    So , in the recent times , has this concept of 4 ram changed to 2ram 4 cylinder?

      They've considered the whole ram as a single unit. Whereas the textbooks consider two halves of the ram (each covered by individual cylinders) as two separate rams (of course they're joined together). Guess this is the most logical explanation :P

    sir, what will happen if rudder carrier bearing gets worn out? what will be the consequences?

      Actually The Rudder sitting on the Rudder carrier bearing it is carrying the weight so it is called Rudder carrier bearing, Now if this bearing gets worn out obiously the Rudder is going to drop. (How, when and consequences will be coming soon......
      Next lecture i will going to discuss on d same topic.

    Sir , you said if there is electrical issue with transmitter,and receiver not able to receive signal that time we uses non follow up method . But sir if receiver couldn't receive signal so how rudder is change there angle. ???

      When there is disturbance or malfunctioning of the signal flow from the rudder angle transmitter to the system means there is some electrical signal problem. And rudder angle indicator transmitter is not able to send the signal to the feedback signal to the system.
