I love this and will be making a mixture of Mickey and Minnie for my son's 4th birthday party. My question is, how durable are the ears and ribbon from being ripped off since some of the kids will be rather young. I plan to write each child's name on the back of their ears so they can take them home as one of the many party favors. Can they rip or break off easy with a little roughness or are they pretty durable? Also the size of the headband you gave in another comment (1/6”, 4mm), is that a good size for younger kids (3-5 yrs) or should I go smaller?
I watch a couple tutorial of the minnie mouse ear and i must say, your tuturial is one of the most simple and easy one of all. Thank you very much. Going to make about 20 of them for my sister in law baby shower
Most of the kids I put them on are very young as it was for my 2 year old. Still looked super cute being big ears. I would suggest taking the template and drawing a circle within the template pattern that's smaller if you really want them smaller. If you do that I would also make the join between the ears (the middle section of the template) shorter. Hope that helps.
I'm getting ready to purchase headbands online but there are options for size 3mm-7mm . I'm making this for my sound first birthday...older kids will be wearing them. What size did you use?
It's hot glue using a glue gun. They're round sticks that melt in the glue gun. Awesome easy to use glue. Just be careful because it's hot. There's really inexpensive types.
Can you send me the ears size of minney mouse in a email?? I need make ones or any link of those!' I'm try to find in a Disney junior but I cant see where is it, please help me!!
I think the link for the template has changed. I got a 404 error. However, I found this template from a Disney site: a.dolimg.com/en-US/disneyjunior/media/pdf/family/djr_fam_mch_mouseears.pdf Thanks for posting this great tutorial. I found it very easy to duplicate.
Cute, I have to wear Disney accessories for my choir concert so these are perfect!
Omg I've seen a couple tutorials that made me kinda change my mind about making them but your tutorial makes is seem so easy! Def gonna try it!
Thanks! Have fun they look adorable on the kids!
Hi, your video is great and I'm making the ears for my son first birthday. What did you use to cover the ends of the headbands? Thanks in advance!!
I'm so sorry I missed your question. I used ribbon hot glued around the ends. I hope you were able to make it work.

The headbands I bought on Amazon and foam from Micheal's craft store. thanks

The headbands are approx .40 cents each and the foam is I think less. So less than $1 each to make.
