Yes it will, and I provide both XD and Prologue versions of the oscillator file. But there are limitations... Check out what I have written on the product page here.... sellfy.com/p/wegeju/ under the section called "using DRONE with Minilogue XD and Prologue".
Hi Tim - many thanks, finally got round to buying this. I'm sure you/others may have figured out, but I can't see any comments here - the drone osc doesn't necessarily have a problem with modulation effects, it's only if you have a delay, reverb AND mod effect running. If you just have mod, or e.g. mod and delay running then it doesn't have a problem, only when the third effect is switched on.
I bought this and I must say that it’s so impressive! It transforms the NTS to a completely new instrument. It is so good I would even recommend buying an NTS even if you just want this.
Amazing Tim, I've got and XD and and NTS-1 and your content expands both these devices.. you've got a great talent for spotting the opportunities to exploit these machines in musical ways, not to mention the development skills to bring them to life. I can't wait to experiment with this one. this looks like a great way to establish a noise bed to build a track from or just jam! 👏
WOW. 😳 I just bought one of these yesterday and I'm waiting on the shipment. Unbelievable you were able to turn monophonic effects box, into something closer to a wall of modular components. Really cool, and I suspect you will soon be parting me from some of my money. Gotta watch the wave folding algorithm video you linked to nerd out on the technical details. Thanks!!
Looking for a cheap drone synth after having bought the NTS-1. I think this will do :D Sounds amazing and I love the amount of control you have over it compared to some other devices. Will lose more than several hours with this, for sure.
..this reminds me of drones I have made on my Prophet 08 or Tetra with multiple LFO's running and modifiers ..they are analog and obviously this is digital.. I will definitely buy your download as soon as I get one.. thanks professor..
Try this on the NTS1... wind up the delay and reverb, press Arp > Latch then turn the EG from open to something else... enter a note or two... instant pixies! (not Pixies :-))
Thanks very much, that's great to hear. Unfortunately not, I won't be attempting to upgrade any of my oscillators to work with the MK2, it's a huge amount of effort and it's just not financially viable :(
I bought this OSC from you a while ago and its amazing, however since a month or so whenever I try to use it I get a little rythm playing instead of 1 conistent note no matter what settings I change my problem remains, what could it be?
Yes, using a the shape control above for a random set of tones, you can potentially run this through an installed 3rd party bitcrusher fx to give it more percussive sounds. Tim did say in the manual this Osc doesn't play well with modulation fx, so YMMV.
Hi, I bought the oscillator and loaded onto nts1. I can’t let the notes play without actually touching the keyboard… the notes do stack, but play just as long as I keep my fingers on the touchstrip

@@timeflight Hi and congrats on your new purchase. There's a huge amount of commitment needed on the developer's part with these user oscillators, I used to have it until Korg switched direction and appeared to grow disinterested with progressing this technology. Things can always change but for the time being I'm not investing any more time in it, it would not be viable financially for me to do so.
Hi! I recently bought myself an SQ-1 for my NTS-1 and before long I realized that there's a need for being able to transpose the NTS-1 in semitones -- or coarse tune, if you like. However, there doesn't seem to be a default way to do this. Would it be possible to program say the A knob to do this in osc submenu?
@@ghost_in_the_robot I did not, though I suspect (if it's at all doable) you have to program it into the oscillator via the Logue SDK. I just don't know how it's done.
Hey, I was wondering if you could help me trouble shoot. Right at first step of the video, I don't have the drone in my NTS1 Osc options, my last option is "Proba-b". Was wondering if you knew any trouble shooting? Just got this thing used off FB, really want to get it Droning
@@coryphillips6029 My drone oscillator is an add-in that needs to be purchased and installed. If the previous owner didn't do this and you can't find it in the list then you'll need to purchase and install yourself. There's a link in the description on how to purchase but installation is something you'll need to refer to Korg documentation about as it involves USB connections and using their library software. Important: my oscillators work with MK1 of NTS-1, not MK2.

Thinking of getting it myself soon. The NTS-1 is awesome!!
Life is becoming all about drone now.
You can feel it...
Incredible! This really pushes the boundaries of this little Box. I can't remember when I last got so much fun out of 10 bucks. Thanks!

That is amazing, so beautiful, these little synths continually amaze. is it easy to install mods?
KORG is the best
got 1, thanks.
It;s so f***ing great. I will undoubtedly buy this masterpiece.
I had a Nyx 1 for awhile. This is way better at 1/6th the price
I love my NTS-1 but I completely disagree. The Nyx is one of the best synths I’ve ever owned.

Great drone... Plz add Pay-pall payment. I have (as non us citizen, most here don't have (Nl, EU) not a credit card.

Yes - such a COOL thing 🙏 - but only credit card - that's really sad ...
Tim, this is absolutely lovely! Do you have any kind of a text-based manual? Happy to pay for it
Amazing!!!
No way to program this to get 8 or 16 notes for the prologue?
Would this and the CHORDS user pack allow me to have the same functionality of the PO20 Arcade drone and chord feature? That would be awesome

There are 16 slots for user oscillators. One of those slots is occupied with a factory supplied oscillator called Waves so you have 15 free slots

How can you set the EG to 'open' on Prologue?
You can’t. The Prologue is a totally different synth with a totally different EG section.
