Yes. Ruka wrote that iconic rap verse. YG should get her more involved in writing the rap verses. Sheesh had too many noise words rather than actual words with iconic meaning that hit you hard. When a person declares on Knowing Bros channel that she loves telling daddy jokes amongst her friends, you know she can write iconic rap verses.
RUKAAAAA!! She had my heart since day 1! I love her rap flow and just look at her stage presence!! She just fills up the stage by herself! It makes sense because she was a trained professional dancer since the age of 6!! She’s just so comfortable and confident on that stage. Ruka really gives me 2nd generation Korean artist/idol rap flow and energy…out of all the members she radiates OG YG HIP HOP. YG was originally a hip hop label and over time it grew and had such versatile as well as unique artists. But Ruka really reminds of a 2NE1’s CL and Minzy..with the rap flow/stage presence like CL, but with the insane dance talent like Minzy + just the chill swag of BIG BANG’s GD. I guess that’s probably why I was so drawn to her because she just reminds of the Korean groups/rappers that fell in love with back in 2008/2009. But with that…there’s always a preference and divide on who is a “better” rapper in the group. Some people really loves Asa’s spitfire rap flow, while some people really love Ruka’s free flowing low tone rap, and then others really like Ahyeon’s sassy rap style. They’re all different and have their own strengths tbh. There should not be anyone discrediting any of the girls talent/skills. That’s why BABYMONSTER is so good in the first place! They’re all have their unique charm and talent, that makes them a very strong group. It would suck if everybody has the same vocal or rapping style or dance style. BABYMONSTER is well balanced and equally talented. If some people can’t say anything nice or is not even a fan of OT7..then those people do not belong in the fandom at all. Just my 2 cents. 😆
alex, thnx..❤️ some haters like bashing her about our english pronounciation..but, men, people should know that some japanese /korean have really difficulty with english..some are lucky like asa that she have a clear pronounciation. but honestly, Ruka is just fine with her pronounciation. She kill the performance with her rap and stage presence. The first time i saw her with her introductory performance i was like "rukanificated" rightaway..🥰
She is great in stage presence and dancing. I suggest you check other Ruka solo performance there lot of swag style and YG once saying she have the HipHop DNA
