Mitsuru Sutoh-san with the slap bass, I am completely speechless. ..and of course, Masahiro Andoh-san himself.. such a maestro

This album, Blue in Red, was released 7 months before GT's initial release. It's likely imo that the name change to Knight's Song was intended to be permanent, but when GT became a hit and Moon Over The Castle stuck as the main theme, that name stuck too, hence why both are still in use
