I can't say I know anything about rhythm games or which game first featured this song, but I feel like the magic is kinda lost when it isn't presented in the style of Clone hero or Stepmania, being all fucky and all. It just makes sense that this song in particular would be the fucky one that just says "screw the player" and grants epilepsies left and right.
I'm not 100% sure if Clone Hero first used this song, but afaik it wasn't made for any game. It's just one of Chroma's many songs, so I guess the funky and messy only comes from clone hero
The ItsJake guy from Etterna is absolutely insane, literally destroys every single other game (rivaling osu). The fact that not only his notes are coming at him over 10 times per second, but he isn't slamming them either. He is literally reading them, which is why he gets marvelous for 99% of notes. Jeez dude.

On robeats, i did dark sheep once, on mobile and my fingers died ;-; ( i joined a match with the song DS (Dark Sheep)
the jacks in robeats are incredibly hard to read especially on slow speed (most people play on slow speeds)
