We picked berries and turned them into paint to paint rocks, we created an amusement park with our meager playground equipment, we built parachutes for our army men and sailed them off rooftops, and on and on and on. Most children today, at least here in the United States, both at home as well as in school, have had their imaginations limited by the prevalence of newer technologies. I happen to know that big changes are coming though, and soon the freedom and joy for our precious children - ALL God's precious children - to imagine is going to be restored and our paths will be set straight. David prayed for God to keep his desires stayed on God. Hope is our desire. We cant manifest anything unless we first hope or desire something. When you have hope it is nothing unless you act on that hope. Faith is the sustense of things hoped for. It is the action. I hope for a new house I wont get it if i dont act in Faith. Also your hope must be inline with the dictates of God if you want it to be of benefit. A desire to harm someone could be hoped for & acted in faith upon & gotten. Principles are the same. We see this. We also see we get back what we put out in this life. If you have hope that in giving money or taking a pill & you act in faith upon that hope it will come about. Thats the principle & we see it in the placebo effect. We know that are hearts can be wicked & cause us to hope for things that bring us distruction. Like David pray for God to keep your desire pure. They greatest power that exist is our hope to love others.
I am like you about imagining doing works like Jesus! I can totally relate! And I have already seen some of my "day dreaming" come to pass! Glory to God! God's word really is alive! Don't listen to critics, they are sent from the devil to distract you. I've had those as well. I just smile at them and wish them a nice day. They don't even bother me.

I'm shocked to learn that a Bible college is not teaching one of the essential teachings from the Bible. This the reason why many Christians experience poverty, depression, bipolar disorders, suicidal thoughts, loneliness, sickness, etc.
Besides a vivid imagination, can ANYONE explain where "god" actually came from? I may have just answered my own question. It's funny that people only speak to god inside their own heads, it's as if that's the only place he exists. Imaginary things do exists, in the imaginations of finite humans.

Yes correct, it has no power of it's own that's why it doesn't work by wishes. God says to meditate (use your mind to imagine your self experiencing what He God has said in His Word and you will experience the power to become what you imagined - in His Word! This is the sure way not just wishes!
