Yes, brother Andrew, but that precious scripture says 'By His stripes we ARE healed'. Bless you.

Yes Amen! In the time of Isaiah he was prophesying about Jesus and in Peter Jesus had already come and been crucified taking the stripes and had already paid the price. We WERE healed. It’s up to us to believe and receive it. 1 Peter 2:24

Well if we are hekl accountable in judgement for our words, then we are NOT forgiven for every sin and it isn't under grace. I was told that was for unbelievers but hey, as a man thinks in his heart so is he.

22 minute mark appears very questionable regarding unbelief. Jesus could do no mighty works because of their unbelief it simply because they didn't go to him or ignored him.
I'm not very convinced that a spirit of unbelief could stop Jesus from doing his work if you look at John regarded the razing of Lazarus.
There's definite evidence of unbelief there and yet it was one of the more amazing miracles.

    1. Sermon Category and General Problem
This sermon is a Triumphalist Sermon, emphasizing the believer’s authority and faith-filled declarations to overcome challenges. It centers on practical application of Mark 11:23 and related teachings about speaking to problems with faith.
    General Problem with the Category:
Triumphalist sermons can overemphasize human responsibility, risking a shift in focus from Christ’s completed work to the believer's actions, thereby weakening reliance on divine grace and increasing the possibility of spiritual despair when success isn’t realized.
    2. Severity of the Law and Gospel Clarity
    Law's Severity:
The Law is under-emphasized in its theological use (Mirror). The sermon focuses on instructing believers on how to act in faith rather than exposing their inability to exercise such faith without divine intervention.
Example: "Most of us are talking to the Lord about our mountain instead of talking to our mountain about God."
The exhortation to “do better” in exercising authority is not paired with an acknowledgment of human inadequacy apart from grace.
    Gospel Clarity:
The Gospel is presented as a foundational reality, but its centrality is blurred by the heavy emphasis on practical steps for claiming healing and authority.
Example: "Jesus finished His work at the cross; He is seated at the Father’s right hand."
While acknowledging the finished work of Christ, the sermon emphasizes believer-driven outcomes, such as taking authority over circumstances.
    3. Semi-Pelagianism Check
The sermon exhibits Semi-Pelagian tendencies by placing heavy emphasis on human responsibility in exercising faith and authority. Statements like "Jesus has done all He is going to do; now it's up to you to act" risk implying that divine grace is insufficient without human cooperation.
    4. Scoring Diagnostic
    Category Score (1-10) Expanded Analysis
Textual Faithfulness 6 Scripture is referenced frequently, but passages like Mark 11:23 are presented without deep exegesis or context.
Law/Gospel Distinction 5 Gospel is overshadowed by imperatives, leading to an overemphasis on human action.
Bondage of the Will 4 Sermon risks undermining total dependence on divine grace by stressing believers’ ability to act independently.
Christ-Centered Focus 6 Christ is central but primarily as a model and enabler of faith, rather than the sole agent of redemption.
Pastoral Application 8 Practical, motivational advice is given, though it lacks Gospel-centered assurance.
Theological Integrity 6 The sermon aligns with basic orthodoxy but leans too heavily on human agency.
    Total Score: 35/60
    Grade: C+
    5. Summary
This sermon offers practical encouragement for faith-filled living, but it risks overemphasizing the believer’s authority at the expense of reliance on Christ’s sufficiency. It would benefit from a clearer proclamation of the Gospel, emphasizing Christ’s completed work as the source of both faith and power.
