Trying to push past 350 with med level setup (fang/bowfa/trident) and I haven't learned Red X yet. Clutch af, should make it easier once i get get it down.

But it is nice being able to do Baba, kephri and zebak without using supplies. I haven't gotten a purple yet and I 3 down wardens and skull skip. Kinda burnt on TOA so I've been sending the Inferno. Double blob waves got me fucked up lmao.
@@lPkPkersnope, put it on hold for now. I have 27 purples and no shadow in my name yet. Homie pulled one with me so I'm using to grind for my own so I can swap it for a tbow and have plenty of money for inferno supplies. Would really like fortified masori for the defensive stats.

Every time during p2 and p3 after the boulder drop I seem to fall out the cycle by 1 tick, getting kicked by the outermost shadow. Anyone know how I can prevent this?
Worth noting that if you end up taking a melee attack from her, during p1 or p2, it's 5 ticks before you step under after you see the hit splat on your character. But on p3 it's only 3 ticks

Switched to a new video editer, and was experimenting with audio filters the software has to remove any background noise and such lol, did it sound worse, better, or just different but not better/worse?
I've mastered the red X, but those damn boulders are my kryptonite. I have to keep the fast boulders invo off, or else it's 50/50 if I can skip with the bowfa. I also use a bowfa to attack during red x, since my iron hasn't gotten a fang yet.
@@danlowe95 If you just mean for the boulder skip part, my guide's got it all, the quick part to remember is, with boulderdash on I assume, make sure you start on the right tile like my guide shows, and then you just either insta hit and wait a tick before running thru boulder, or if you lose a tick you can insta run thru boulder after bofa-ing it. My guide will show that in more detail.
For anyone who doesnt like CTRL clicking or just isn't as comfortable with it. I've been doing a method much like this except I do 2 SHIFT click walks under Baba then run out, just watch your true tile to make sure you are under Baba for 2 ticks by moving to 2 different tiles, then run out and attack. It's not as controlled as the CTRL walk method and if you run out in a cardinal direction you can still get hit by the edge of the shadow. But I consider it a nice "freestyle" method rather than always depending on setting up redx. Redx is a 16% dps loss so it's better to use it as a resource rather than depending on it.
after boulders at the top and you can just attack baba while on the square adjacent to her, then red x a potion, walk 3 in to center, attack baba and redx walk under 2 tiles everytime after. at the bottom i wait for baba to walk down step to the side one and do the same thing, 3in 3out, then 2in 2 out everytime after
been rough with getting all 8 ppl together lol, but at least with this guide should help with no more ba-ba resets hopefully lol. The 600 requires a perfect speedrun with slightly above average RNG tho, so we really need everyone to be on point for it lol.
I didn't fully understand how Baba's aggro swap works in a team raid. If player 1 is red x-ing on phase 1, and then is the first to hit baba out of his boulder phase, would he swap aggro to player 2 regardless of health? How would it work if Player 1 is red x-ing but player 2 initiates the first hit out of boulder phase?
Initiating the hit is not relevant. Baba will swap aggro from who they last were attacking, so if the last person that baba targeted was player 1, then player 2 will always get aggro on the next swap. So you have to force an aggro swap right before the boulder phase, then she will select player 1 when she attacks next (assuming player 1 has less health than any player 3-8)

Yea, ba-ba's cycle is 6-tick so red x will always be 6 tick. You can sometimes get a few 5 tick hits off, but after at most a few you'll be back in the 6 tick fang hits, and the only way to get more 5 tick hits is to tank a few ba-ba hits.
The way you do it at 3:10 is exactly how i do it on the north side, except you only have to walk 2 tiles under baba. I guess i learned this accidentally as i used your previous guide to teach me how, and didn't realize you were clicking on the potion to walk back. Walking 3 tiles under sets you on the 2nd red x tick, walking 2 tiles under sets you on the first tick.
I'm guessing you also were waiting for 1 tick at some point before going under ba-ba in that process, as walking 2 under 2 out would be 4 ticks under baba, while 3 under 3 out is 6 ticks, 2 ticks slower, so if 2 under 2 out worked for you and put you on the early tick, that means you also waited a tick before going under, whereas in my guide I showed no waiting just moving every tick, but whatever people find easier to do they should do!

if you are solo, you can do baba without using a single supply. really a must for higher invos

best way is to just sit under him till he does shadow attack and your cycle is set

This is an incredibly dangerous thing to do, cause the 2nd shift click is going to move Baba in a random direction

Kirby this method has been around for a while, Its called the LILI step! Lovelili invented it and shared it almost a year ago!
