A little trick they taught me during school to get my CDL. Watch your trailer tires and follow them in. Base when and which direction you turn on where they're at in your spot. If you do that it'll go right in the majority of the time. The first time I did it in an actual truck I nailed the 90° backing didn't even pull forward. Alot is also how you set yourself up
Sergeant Alpha5 cool I didn’t wan to offend you and if I did I apologize I just said it because you see guys that think they are super truckers after paying 5000$ to get his cdl
No ones perfect at backing jeff but i have a little suggestion to help. If you try to line the right corner of the trailer with the first cone backing from driver side view you could get it on one shot almost every time. You have the right mind set for backing just figured id give you a pointer. As always thanks for the great videos.
Lol i just got back into trucking (real life) after not doing it in over a year. Found a really good gig out of Iowa and I'm excited. I'll be doin this IRL in two days.
Payway and I just want to say what's up I've been watching your RUclips channel for a long time and I just seen you tune great work on it I love the videos and keep up the great work😆😆
Was watching Shot in the Dark on Netflix, and after a thorough binging (it's a quick series) I had a vision of you guys trying this on 5M. It's a slickly edited show and worth a watch.
I started watching all the old Ats videos you made and it really has me encouraged to get this game. I started getting back into 18 wheels of steel american long haul just because of watching the videos. Hope to see you drive a few cabovers in the future.
Try a delivery to ABQ (airport) in Albuquerque. One of the trailer parting spaces is in an aircraft. It appears to be an Antonov AN-124 cargo plane. I watched some the other night, but it wouldn't let him park it there because he had a double trailer. So you have to do this with a single box trailer. I want to try this as soon as I get a load going there.
As soon as my Simulation company start and grow up, I will send you some stuff so you can enjoy the most out of the simulation games. Next Level missed your great exposure, as one of the best in simulation gaming channel on youtube. Keep it up :) I will contact you soon hopefully :D
I live in northwest Florida and when I was in Tampa I went to whawha and so very cool very nice gas station and great sandwiches and also I have a winndixie and Publix real close to me and have u gotten a SunPass yet
The question regarding Roadway.... Roadway and Yellow Freight was business transaction. Yellow Freight bought Roadway. Then to merge the companies and terminals they changed the name to YRC.
Last year, I worked at a Materials Recycling Facility, and one in a big city runs 24/7. They are too busy to do maintenance. I couldn't even clean because I had to get back on the line. I sorted trash. After the weekend, the facility would receive 5-8 trucks full of garbage. I can't imagine the size of trash in a big city.
Hey Jeff, I recommendation for a video of this if you can is to go up North in New Mexico. There's a particularly nice road that winds around tight turns and might just be the best section of road in the game. Won't describe it too much in case you don't want a spoiler of the area.
Just a tip: your "Realistic Mirror FOV" mod should be higher in the list (because right now it's still the default FOV). If I remember correctly, it should have higher priority than Sound Fixes.
Yea those trucks are flying in the States lol I was in the Midwest on a 4 week vacation in September and most trucks are going faster than 70 on the highway. In ATS i usually stick around 65. Feels good, also economy-wise. I'm a slowpoke !
Anyone else notice that some of the intersections in the NM DLC really should have a traffic light because the AI traffic doesn't yield properly when you have to turn in various spots? Literally make it impossible to make a turn without a collision because AI doesn't stop/yield properly.
Thanks man my gf has been keeping me company while I've been sick all week and weekend she's been doing video calls with me in the evening to keep my spirits up she is very sweet and kind and understanding and caring
good video bro I enjoyed it keep up the good work and Werner is the company I plan on going to go to when I get my cdls and start driveing a truck can't wait either
Backing well takes time to perfect, and since we're all human we have to adapt and improvise on the "off" days. Could have done what Daze McRae suggested, and you could have pulled more to the left the way you went in. I have done the same the way you approached it many tmes. You just have to keep going left and pivot your tandems as close to the "cone" as you can. You did a good job.
It's pretty easy to always have daylight trips in ATS. I send myself to rest at 6/7 PM, usually wake up early morning. I didn't have a trip in the dark since forever and deliver always in time. ETS is different. I got some really strange working/sleeping patterns there lol
Next time pull in close on your left ,swing out to the right, and then get back under it by pulling to the left u should have an almost perfect setup. A lot of Truckers forget when they were rookies.
Hey Jeff, great video's btw and welcome to FL. I was wondering if you could make a tutorial video on backing up and making turn's video? I'm struggling with backing up a trailer and making sharp turn's into driveways.
Jeff Favignano oh really? And I found a “knock off” version that looks the same just cheaper and found it on Amazon Is there a way you can do a review on the cheap version 😁
okay so i get that you use a wheel to steer but what do you use to look around, it seems like it might be mouse but how would that work with the wheel im trying to get a similar setup to yours. so I can enjoy the game more
but it is very handy for sim games. I use a xbone controller now for driving and camera but am looking into a wheel/pedals and trackIR. Together around $325 new. The split H-shifter is nice to but I'm not sure how pricey they are

Sergeant Alpha5 where did u go to cdl school at
Ryan Doonan Future Truckers of America Asheboro NC
Oh your one of them guys that paid 5000$ to get your CDL LMAO
Diesel Gaming no the company paid for it and paid me to go to school as long as I worked for them for a year
Sergeant Alpha5 cool I didn’t wan to offend you and if I did I apologize I just said it because you see guys that think they are super truckers after paying 5000$ to get his cdl

Thanks man I will try that
Jeff Favignano No problem. Anytime brother.
Those simaultors are great time and time again
Lol i just got back into trucking (real life) after not doing it in over a year. Found a really good gig out of Iowa and I'm excited. I'll be doin this IRL in two days.
Very nice man congrats!

New Mexico is such a beautiful state to drive through.
Michael Kelley during the summer. Lol. Winter time can get fun at times.
I live in northwest Florida and when I was in Tampa I went to whawha and so very cool very nice gas station and great sandwiches and also I have a winndixie and Publix real close to me and have u gotten a SunPass yet
yup we ordered the sunpass just waiting on it in the mail
The question regarding Roadway.... Roadway and Yellow Freight was business transaction. Yellow Freight bought Roadway. Then to merge the companies and terminals they changed the name to YRC.
ah yes that is what it was
I'm so early the quality is like a russian snow storm. Love your videos man. Keep up the good work.
I used to live there and it's instantly recognizable. I need to buy this DLC. Haven't played ATS in awhile.
Last year, I worked at a Materials Recycling Facility, and one in a big city runs 24/7. They are too busy to do maintenance. I couldn't even clean because I had to get back on the line. I plan to man!
Now that you have the new racing rig,I hope you put out some new Iracing content if you ever get the time.
It's awesome seeing you haul a Werner trailer. I work for them and I love it.
Very cool man!
Just a tip: your "Realistic Mirror FOV" mod should be higher in the list (because right now it's still the default FOV). If I remember correctly, it should have higher priority than Sound Fixes.
Ill have to move that thank you!
Thanks for showing the mods you use, been playing a lot more ATS lately and wanted improve the games realism
Keep up the good work love your streaming
New Series Should be called Trucking With Jeff
Yea those trucks are flying in the States lol
I was in the Midwest on a 4 week vacation in September and most trucks are going faster than 70 on the highway.

I just came down with strep throat but watching your videos helps pass time it sucks but what can I do anyway have a great thanksgiving
Paul Minnick ah man that sucks. Hope you get better
Thanks man my gf has been keeping me company while I've been sick all week and weekend she's been doing video calls with me in the evening to keep my spirits up she is very sweet and kind and understanding and caring
Paul Minnick hope ya get better
Get better man, I know how that can be!
Thanks so much guys jeff your live streams from twitch that u post on RUclips are awesome since I don't have twitch :)
You kinda... umm misspelled simulator in the title just to let you know
hey jeff, i work for c.r.england as a driver regionally in the Carolinas. ii always enjoy ur ats videos! keep em up
Wawas are great
There's a few up in the Northeast and they only just recently opened up new ones in Florida
I know realistic graphic mod works fine in 1.29. I see you have it un-installed Jeff? Just personal preference?
good video bro I enjoyed it keep up the good work and Werner is the company I plan on going to go to when I get my cdls and start driveing a truck can't wait either
FYI for your mods, immersive symbols has a built-in no boundary component, so that's a redundant mod.
Cool vid jeff love the werner trailer i drive for werner and i pulled a reffer for a few months

this is the earliest I've ever been
Just wondering. Do you have time zones on
I am really loving the NM dlc!
LOVE ALL OF YOUR VIDEOS
Your videos are really good. Keep up the good work
You know, it would be cool if on DOJ, they had a train engineering script.. and other stuff like that...
Could you do a video showing us your racing rig please?
when I do the house tour it will be in that
I Had the same mistake with the truck names with the kenworth mod in your DOJ live video!
Can you do a road trip to Albuquerque from tumacari?
It's pretty easy to always have daylight trips in ATS.
I send myself to rest at 6/7 PM, usually wake up early morning.
I didn't have a trip in the dark since forever and deliver always in time.
ETS is different. I got some really strange working/sleeping patterns there lol
watchingponies lol. I’ve been driving for 17 years now and I usually get up bout 4 to 5am then roll out.
A real trucker ! That is so cool.
Nice and early. Able to get a couple of hours in already before everybody else gets on the road.
watchingponies especially in places like San Diego. Helps a lot. Lol
You were right Jeff. Yellow and Roadway merged into YRC Freight in 2009 :P
They both still run trucks/trailers under the original company names/colors
Next time pull in close on your left ,swing out to the right, and then get back under it by pulling to the left u should have an almost perfect setup. A lot of Truckers forget when they were rookies.
Jeff you should play the new aerofly fs2 (flight sim In VR) since you like flight sims and I feel like it would be a good episode to watch
You always kinda get knocked off when you end up late cause of sleep, I always sleep and fuel up before each run, its helped avoid that problem.
Yeah I will do that
Never heard of American Truck Simaultor
THANK YOU FOR THE MOD LIST! :)
Use to have a RV at st.Catharines Saturday got rid of it jeff
its called albuturkey non Albuquerque
Jeff i have the same version and all of jazzycats mods and i don't get any frame loss.
thats who i drive for jeff pretty cool to pull one of ours reefer trailers
Hey Jeff, great video's btw and welcome to FL. I was wondering if you could make a tutorial video on backing up and making turn's video? I'm struggling with backing up a trailer and making sharp turn's into driveways.
Go check out episodes 5 and 6 of Squirrel's Trucking School series.
Wait you moved to Orlando? I just moved back to Missouri lol
Hey Jeff, I’m looking at buying the SKRS shifter. Do you recommend me buying one?
I would wait man, I have heard people aren't getting them for a long time. Not sure what's up with that.
Jeff Favignano oh really? And I found a “knock off” version that looks the same just cheaper and found it on Amazon
Is there a way you can do a review on the cheap version 😁
YOU'VE NEVER BEEN TO A WAWA.... WHHHHHAAAAAAAAT
hey jeff, could you start putting mod links in the description again, it helps when you show us in game but i still can find certain mods thanks
Leith Chesser just google them man, he’s already explain why he doesn’t put them in the description.
GO TO WAWA. the God of all convenience stores..
See if there is a Tesla semi mod and drive that thing around
Just heard you moved from St. Louis to Orlando, a move my wife and I have considered for a while! How do they compare?
Ryan Fleckenstein you cant compare them
Florida is amazing man, loving it
I want the Next Level F1/GT rig.... I've heard that its quality. What are your thoughts on it?
Hey Jeff, when are you going to change trucks
soon
The roswell incident with the UFO was July 5th, 1947.
shit earlier than I thought!
Jeff you should do a drive from Santa Fe to las cruces
JEFF IF YOU NEED EXTRA CASH THEN MAKE A MERCH STORE OMG I WOULD BUY SO MUCH LSPDFR AND DOJ STUFF!!!! PLEASE DO IT
Roku Robut I'd buy some merch as well
Jeff does limited merch runs from time to time.
I actually have one going all the time right now, teespring.com/summerswag
Are there any classic truck in ATS? Like the ones parked at that truck stop?
Lt Hastings you can probably find a mod on ats mods but ai has cool older trucks
Was Jeff ever a trucker?! Cuz he knows a lot about trucking
I'd assume he learns a lot from professional truck drivers, watching videos, and just watching them in person - much like his LSPDFR stuff.
No, he was never a truck driver. He started studying for a CDL, then decided that the career wasn't for him.
Flat4Buggy 2 Oh ok
D.J. Harris Yeah True
On your next video can u drive a pickup truck like a Ram1500 or something...😉
What do you use to record your videos?
He uses an Elgato HD60. (He records his mic audio separately)
my uncle is a truck driver he has a reefer he has a white Peterbilt what what have dub on it and it is a Peterbilt 387 and I went with him for 2 weeks
Hey Jeff! Hope you’re doing well!
Awesome video Jeff
okay so i get that you use a wheel to steer but what do you use to look around, it seems like it might be mouse but how would that work with the wheel im trying to get a similar setup to yours. so I can enjoy the game more
Mr. Chicken he uses track ir I think
Smooth thanks
Yeah he has a Track IR set up , But Track IR is pretty pricy for what it is. However, it makes it silky smooth for turning your head to look :)
but it is very handy for sim games. I use a xbone controller now for driving and camera but am looking into a wheel/pedals and trackIR. Together around $325 new. The split H-shifter is nice to but I'm not sure how pricey they are
Do more gopro views please! Just put it in the corner or something
Can you showcase your wheel?
Did i missed a video Jeff lives in Florida now?
Yes, he moved to Orlando.
Hi Jeff You Know Where U Buy The Steering Wheel
Yes he does. He bought it
I really wish you'd put the mods in the description. I know it's a lot of work, but I really liked it.
He stopped doing it because his videos with links in the description are becoming demonetized.
Going to my home state. Born and raised in New Mexico. Lived 24 miles east of Tucumcari in Logan. Lol.
Hi Jeff, I noticed your CB is on ch 10 can you change it to ch19 thats the channel all drivers use. I bet you knew that anyway. Peace!
The CB is only for decoration. The channel can't be changed.
Where Can I get a mod for low and long chassis. Longer than the ones available in game. Also a mod for the rear tire fenders. Thanks
Am-a-ril-lo
From Tucumcari to Amarillo is 113 miles.
Texas Panhandle.
I live outside of Houston
What's happened to the tornado Jeff??
Can you do a house tour
U are the Best utuber
Love your video your the best
Hey jeff do you use the clutch to shift
Hey Jeff live the content but if Salt Lake City is there can you do it next?
That's in Utah which SCS has not done yet
Timothy Rogers Railfanning K thx
Steve Quezada No problem, just don't expect SCS to release Utah for awhile lol
it could be the auto save because before the update if I manually quick saved my game it would have a very short lag
Wheel cam please 🤙
good vid mate but doj with buggs polecate are better
well these are completely different games so you know, saying it like that doesnt make sense, they are fun in different ways IUCMD
no way they different games didnt no that your a well educated person give yourself a who gives a fuck badge
I gave him one
Yes roadway got bought out by yrc
Jermaine skinner, what is your question?
great videos
Will you ever be doing a give away
I search jazzycat in the workshop on steam and it only shows like 4 items that work with jazzycat mods
Jazzycat's mods aren't on the Steam Workshop. You'll need to go to a mod site like atsmods . lt to find them.
Flat4Buggy 2 ok thanks for the info
No problem.
Not all owner operator's go 80 mph my dad said that it'll be better to go 50-70 mph because it's saves gas but that's my dad and everyone is different
I really hope you don't think I really believe every single owner operator does
Jeff Favignano Idk I wasn't thinking sorry I know you don't think that
You were in Edgewood
Did y'all know Dwarf Mambas dog died Friday
