    Javier Gazzarri and Christoph Hahn introduce you to battery modeling using Simulink. Javier, a MathWorks application engineer, introduces the concept of an equivalent circuit to set-up a battery model. The experimental approach of pulse discharging at different operation temperatures as preliminary work for the parameter estimation is shown in a demonstration. Parameter estimation in conjunction with look-up tables is a powerful tool to capture the real-world behavior of battery packs while saving computational effort at the same time.

    How can we choose the best equivalent circuit for our battery ? if I need to capture a high current transients from regenerative braking into a battery. How to choose the adaptable model ?

    At what discharge rate is recommended for the pulse discharge test? 0.1C, 0.5C, 1C? Anyone knows?. Also how much time is recommended for relaxation? 1 hour, 2 hours, more?. I did some experiments a couple of months ago and 1 hour was not enough to fully recover the voltage drop.

    at 29:11, higher the temp., higher the resistor. Why the resistor has the higher value at 5 degrees compared to 40 degrees?

    How can you model a battery with vibration effects

      Typically vibration is not the first factor for simulation. Do you need/use temperature effects like here ruclips.net/video/8KGgw8UipBY/видео.html
