Belize, Yucatán Peninsula and Jamaican, a tropical wave could develop into a cyclone this week.
The National Hurricane Center is monitoring several areas in the Atlantic, but mainly a tropical wave located south of Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic that could develop into a tropical depression or tropical storm as it moves toward the east of Belize and the Yucatán Peninsula.
Although there is significant uncertainty regarding its strength when it reaches the region, it will bring heavy rainfall to parts of Jamaica, Belize, and southern Mexico.
