Wonderful to see that this tradition is alive and well in the entire country. I love Midsommar ’cause it reminds me of the country I grew up in, what Sweden was like in the early 80’s. A proud nation with a strong culture and identity. Sweden was among the richest nations in the world, everybody had a job, everybody contributed by paying taxes, our schools and hospitals were the best in the world, we built everything from vacuum cleaners and phones to cars and ships. We were self sufficient and happy. Those were the days. And everybody got fucking wasted for Midsommar without any worries of being robbed or assaulted.
Sweden - I still love you.
What a priviledge to live in a house like that and in a place like that. Happy Midsummer

With national traditions, music and just celebration of life.
Honestly I love this, so many people are having so much fun together and partying. Dexter seems very comfortable with the short coat.

Awesome! We went to IKEA’s Midsummer celebration & it was delicious! Actually liked the pickled herring! The strawberry cake was amazing! Quite a few Swedes there too! ❣️🇸🇪😋

I didn't know about this celebration in Spain it is not done.. I really liked the environment is very nice quiet but with lots of fun and food and drink.. Erik, the great ending with a Dexter, what could not more and you with the tongs.. You have been fantastic!!

Swedish yoga is the best!
And the best thing is that this is a celebration without class differens. No matter what you can celebrate. Dont need to apend alot, just something simple to eat and drink and a happy mood 🙌🏼

Love seeing the traditions in other countries and so nice to see communities together. Dexter was doing pretty good imitating yoga pose number 1 lol! I’m not Swedish but I have been in at least 3 of those poses 😂

Years ago my neighbours, from Sweden, invited me to a small midsummer’s festival in Montreal, Canada. It was so fun and inclusive. She invited me to everything and enjoy life with her.

Nothing stupid about your celebrating Midsomer, it's a tradition you've kept from your Ancestors.
We use to celebrate May day, with a Maypole in the UK, but over the years, the political correctness has put an end to it.
Keep your traditions, it identifies who you are, and where you're from.
I could leave the pickled herring, but those ribs look banging!
