- It had to happen at some point: Jersey goes to daycare. Mom and Dad aren't thrilled about big Jers going to daycare, we will miss him, but it's best for him and the family. Jersey needs social stimulation from other kids, and we need to work.
This is Jersey's first day of daycare, it's emotional, but something most parents go through. We hope you enjoy and let us know how you relate to the experience.
Much of this is about parenting and fatherhood, share with those who need it.

The first day of daycare is an emotional event for most families, but there are many positives from the experience. Jersey needs the stimulation from other kids (and Mom and Dad need to get work done. lol).

jersey is going to be fine
We started at toddler age as well, it was rough for a bit but it smoothed out. Children need stimulation and socialization. I think Jerz is going to do very well.

Oh Jersey, my heart was crushed when I saw you cried for your parents after being dropped off to day care the first day. It reminded me of first day of kindergarten & First grade for my two baby boys. They didn't cry, I did.

Please update his daycare experience! It seems like it’s definitely helping his speech, he sees that children his age are speaking and that helps! All your videos bring back precious memories and experiences that I had with my children!!!

Aww watching Jersey cry was tough. I've experienced that separation anxiety with my 2 daughters in daycare and this brought back so many memories. Yep, all a part of growing up. Big Boy!

I got so emotional 😢😢😢!! As a mom, I know the feeling. It's just as emotional for us as it is for baby. It'll get easier for Jersey and for you Mom and Dad! ❤️❤️

Awww bless him I used to work in day care and I saw kids getting dropped off and parents leaving in tears while the child was also in tears soon as they left they were perfectly fine .you got this big boy Jersey.

So sweet, I Remember that time in my son's life. I took him to the daycare for two weeks before hand to learn the ways of Daycare. He still cried when he realized we weren't leaving together. I hid until he stopped crying and he was fine within 20 minutes. Picking him up was always great because he was so excited to see us again!
That first day...so hard, but Jersey is a great trooper he’ll be alright. Yeah Jersey 🤗🤗🤗😘😘😍😍

I have two sons it was so hard for me to let go.they are in their thirties now.we laugh about it now,with them going through the same thing.so i told them how i coped.
Jersey will be just fine. When he's used to going it will be so much fun for him. I'm saddened too that he has to go, but as you said "you can't get any work done." 💗👶🏽💗💋

I know what you’re going through, as I had to go through it too. My boy was not too happy about it at first. He was sad and never smiled when pictures were taken. But in time, he adjusted and all went well. Jersey will be unhappy at first, but he too will adjust in time. It’s good that you talk to him while preparing him for new experiences, Justin. Talking to children at that age is so important for their budding language skills. All the best!

He may be only 16 months , but I think you should at least TRY and say something different such as MAMA OR DADA , how old were his sisters when they started talking ? and what did they say ? IF he carries on like he is doing , he will " probably" keep saying BAH when he meets his FIRST GIRLFRIEND which isnt ideal although basically I think you are GOOD PARENTS, by the way the twins are lovely and yes you do have lovely eyes Justin XX

I remember when I went to pre-k. Let’s just say I didn’t handle it well. Jersey is a boss. He literally a super hero. He can push a wagon with 1 hand😱🤯👍😍😂🥰😍😁❤️

Its a bitter sweet time, you could tell Jersey wasn't to happy, he knew something was going on from the beginning.
It was nice of you to take him for a wagon ride before you took him to daycare.

Its parent, child anxiety especially for Jersey he doesn't understand he's with his parents on day and the next he's at daycare.

Yes, the first day is hard for the child as well as the parents. I’m assuming Jersey was familiar with the caregiver already so he probably only cried a little while. A little less each day and soon, he’ll be running to get there. It’s a process.
I can't get enough if him. 😭😭❤ I know exactly what to binge watch tonight. Oh, I can't wait to have kids. He's the cutest thing! You are amazing parents.
