In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Be sure to stay subscribed to stay up to date with my latest expeditions, y'all!

HI Mike thank you for producing another great great curbside treasure and scrap video. Dotty has been filling up very very fast . we have great great luck with finding boxes bags totes of treasures on the curb when we go scrapping we bring them home and go thru them very carefully keep what we want throw away the trash recycle and donate and resell and people that buy stuff we make out better then the scrap payout prices another persons trash another persons treasures .

It'll be worth it to you to get inside the housing of any dryer you find curbside. It may not be raining money like that one you got, but every dryer I've ever worked on has coins and other goodies inside of it. I've found coins, keys, folding money, somebody's ID card, all sorts of stuff inside of dryers.

Hi Mike, you should try checking out every washer & dryer to see if they work. Just plug them in on the truck. See if the cycles work, buttons, etc. On the dryers same thing. My husband use to pick them up and check them. One house threw away what looked like a brand new, expensive washer or dryer, I don't remember which. He looked at it, plugged it up. Checked the hose or something like that. The only thing wrong was a sock got sucked up into something. He pulled it out & sold it in a couple of days for a few hundred. It beats scrapping them. I know most might not work but a lot of people just throw them out because they want to upgrade or they don't have a clue what to look for. You are mechanically inclined so I know you would figure it out real fast. Nowadays it's cheaper to buy a new one than to pay to have them fixed. It's a throwaway world. Sad but true.

The Cry Baby is a "Wah Wah" pedal. Even in that shape, they can be fixed, you could sell it as is for $25, fix it & $50-$75 (maybe a little more). Some one will buy it for $25 & fix it themselves.

Love your videos and great attitude and funny ass one liners. Hey invest in a Milwaukee portaban. I swear it'll be the best till you will own for what you do. You can easily cut up awkward pieces like chairs and other stuff that are too bulky to load. It'll cut it up to be manageable is seconds. I do ornamental iron and it's the best investment I made. I wish I could give you all my scrap metal. I have tons of it. I remove old solid iron gates and railings and replace it with new iron.

Mike it's me again I've looked through the comments several people have intrest in the wah pedal ,I left a comment earlier but had to leave this comment as well, I said in my other comment that the cry baby pedal is an old school pedal however its very saught after the reason it's a vintage pedal that holds its value even if it dosnt work it's very easy to have it repaired and I dont it would take much to repair it if it dosnt but that pedal again is very saught after in the guitar world as i said in my other comment i had one and gave it to a friend that was nearly 20 to 30 yrs ago I was around 15 when I started playing guitar I'm 56 now I dont have the gear I had when I was younger wife kinda made me sell my crate half stack and other guitars as well now I'm down to 2 amps and 3 guitars wishing i had my old wah pedal when I saw the video but that's the way the ole ball bunches ,anyway again have the pedal checked out it's very saught after and could potentially bring a couple hundred bucks maybe more ,

I used to work in security in a very big city for 17 years. You're super nice and compliant. If I were you, (this goes for your commercial trash runs) just let the security officers know you're a professional recycler and you're keeping things that are recyclable from the dump to help the earth. Make them feel like crap for running you off. Heck, even talk to property management companies and see if they'll give you permission to go through their stuff. You'll be surprised who will say yes. Otherwise, keep doing what you're doing and hitting before security is on shift.
