I have very old Kindles and I was wondering how well my Hubby’s old Fire would work as an ereader. I have it plugged up now to see if it still has some life to try it out. Thanks Robin!
@ it’s got power…but it’s got a parental lock on it. So I waited until John got home and asked him to unlock it. He said, it still works? lol Yep. And it’s locked, can you unlock it? -(tries to unlock it and fails)I haven’t seen this thing in 5 years, so I have no clue. Guess I gotta get a new Kindle of some sort. 😆
I would not have traded in my Paperwhite if my other Kindle wasn’t cracked. It just made sense to go ahead and trade in both devices for a device that I am now using with a matte screen protector and I could not be happier.
I have the new fire 8 it’s beautiful not many vids on here it’s all paperwhites 😢 would love see some more on kindle fires I use mine for books RUclips and Pinterest to take to art class with me
@@lollypop7006 I don’t do any digital product videos, but I agree with you wholeheartedly. I use this Kindle Fire 8 for just about everything. If I can think of a way to make a good comprehensive review video for this tablet, I will do my best to do so.
@ yeah I have the matte screen protector too it’s amazing so many people put the fire down cos they don’t realise lol iv just ordered a paper white tho too to be honest not the new ones a 11 gen on eBay
I think that there’s a trend on RUclips videos for any new gadget or product. If one or two videos come out positive then by far all the rest will come out pretty positive. If one comes out negative, pretty much all the ones to follow and be negative, leaving the other good devices in the dust. For example, I have a Typecase Keybord for my 11 inch Pro iPad. So far, the only video that I can find on this keyboard versus the Apple keyboard is super super negative. However, this keyboard does everything and more, but there is not one positive review about it.
I have the kindle fire max 11 with 128 Gb.Because i use the hoopla app,Libby app,Audible app.I purchase my kindle fire during Amazon prime Day for 90.00 dollars.i don’t need headphones to listen to books or watch movies.i do want a smaller kindle fire to take to the gym.
@@cthompson3050 That is awesome. I have done two things with my Kindle Fire today. I listened to a book via screen mirroring to my TV using Text to Speech. Now I am listening to a book via Libby on the Kindle through my Echo app.
Hello!! Hope you’re feeling better. I have a Paperwhite I got about 2 years ago. Just for reading books. Everything else is on my iPad where I use Goodnotes to study for my meeting. I get so distracted but I really want to read more in 2025!
@@craigsouthern4793 As a longtime reader, I definitely disagree. I have used a Paperwhite since the beginning of their existence, but when I had a cracked HD 8 I knew that I would prefer another HD 8 so I traded the cracked one and my Paperwhite, 11th edition. Using a matte screen protector makes it quite an enjoyable experience. Then factor in my need for text to speech, read aloud and audiobooks and it’s a no-brainer.

My pleasure!!

I have an older Paperwhite that is fine for my reading needs but that Kindle Fire looks sweet. If I ever need to upgrade, you have sold me!

@@TheBibliophilePuzzler great sis I’m ok
Absolutely vile reading on a tablet. Once you use an ereader YOU WILL NEVER GO BACK
