This match is awesome but I agree with the other commenters saying the best ever has been Peru-Russia back in 1988. That was hell of a game. I love Chinese people, they are so talented and disciplined people.
Uno de los mejores partidos de todos los tiempos en la historia del voley femenino solo superado por la final de Seúl 1988... Y que bueno que ganaron las chinas. :-)
@Cama791 ..i agree with u,this match its one of a kind..still back in 1988 ,in the SEOUL olympics,the Peruvian team lead by an amazing CECILIA TAIT,ROSA GARCIA and GABRIELA PEREZ DEL SOLAR..were almost Gold,when they face the Soviet Union Team..,after losing the first 2 sets,the soviets lead by IRINA PARKUMCHUCK,TATIANA SIDORENKO and curiously VALENTINA OGUIENKO,came back and won the match..Til this day that same match its considered THE BEST!..
too bad the russians when they had a two-set lead. this is reminiscent of the sydney 2000 olympics when russia lost to cuba. but that cuban team is unbeatable.
Did u see the 4th set on he WCH2006? Rusia 25 - China 12,with amazing Gamova's servers , there was not any Chinese player running in circles.You must to see the Chinese faces, including Feng'face
russian team is great though.these two teams played grand!!!!.but this is sport,this is match,whoever catches chances wins.and we did.we were winners but it doesnt mean russian girls were losers.i think it is very easy to tell that russian girls were better and stronger,but the reality was that chinese girls played better in the final.and the point is that we caught the chance.cheers for chinese and russian girls!!!
China had an outstading setter that made a HUGE difference here, Feng Kun was the MVP of Athens 2004, unquestionably one of the best of all time. Meanwhile Gamova and Sokolova had to work with Sheshenina...

Yes!! Especially Chachkova...
Thats right is considerer the most dramatic best play game ever
Nice! Good analysis. I'm a chinese and russian volleyball fan, as long as these two meet in finals, it is alright for me.

I have some doubts about fair play

Go China...They're reaaly great...and now the 2008 Olympics in Beijing? Oh my,I think they are now prepared to win the gold again...
@YheroC Yes:D
PYAWLAHHHHH!!!!
yo pienso que China se preparo demasiado para las olimpiadas 2004 llegando casi invicto ya que Cuba las derroto en preliminares 3 x 2
Well, this is the Chinese commentor, what do you expected? perhaps you'd rather listen the russian version. lol
Your defenitely right! Those noisy south ams..... Hate there volleyball team

China...eh. They like to run in circles.
