- Note: some of the scenes from Golden Hour that aren't recreations of earlier episodes have been cut to make this video more to the point. I tried to make it flow as well as possible while removing those scenes.

@@24k_KAII, they couldn’t, they would have to add one more episode, but they established a tradition of each season having exactly 10 episodes. That tradition lasted until March of the Oni.
1:59 notice the crack wu puts in the wall, it’s the same shape as the royal family’s emblem, I think it may have been confirmed but that is why we never heard of them until season 8

Old ninjago animation is just way better. I dont know if Im the only one thinking this. But for watching ninjago since I was 6 in 2011, I think this is not it. Changing the animations for new fans from the movie. Nah. They should have watched the old series and the movie later again. Hopefully LEGO returns the old designs in a kind of way in the story for the future. Then I can die in piece. What are your thoughts your the 2nd guy that im asking for thoughts btw 😅
I'm a little upset that they could't figure out how to replicate the old animation style. The newer one looks so chibi, you can tell from the children Minifigures.

A part of me is tempted to add the golden hour scenes that showed te exact framing of those episodes into the original show with editing to show( example: 1:25)if someone gets into ninjago. Would be pretty funny and confusing. " who is this person?" " There he is again!" And i would just say idk

Kinda sad they didn't have them in seabound
In my mind, Wu and the Time Twins altered the past when they traveled back again after traveling to Seabound, so in the new timeline they never traveled to that point, which is why they aren't there in Seabound. I hope that makes sense

In a Q&A on The Fold's Discord server after Ninjago: Reimagined was released (not recorded unfortunately), Tommy Andreasen said a goal had been to feature a golden ninja in some form in every short (like how they all have "Gold" in the title), so this was added even though it doesn't make much sense. I think because it was easier or less repetitive than revisiting a scene where Lloyd was the Golden Ninja

I think you're confusing animation with character design.
The Animation got better after the movie, this is a fact, both Wilfilm and later Wildbrain have animation quality that surpasses basically anything prior.
It's also been almost a decade since the movie, at a certain point you just have to accept that the old character designs are simply _not_ returning unless it's something like flashback.
