Been around dandelions my whole life and this is the first time I ever noticed that they close up after the first bloom and then “bloom” again with the seeds.
Medicinal from root to flower. I Love the roots roasted and made into tea! They are good for colds and inflammation if you'd like to make a tincture or an infused oil! What a powerful little flower!
I'm sure dandelion concoctions are very nice, but there's no good evidence they're medicinal. (I'm not saying they aren't, but "we don't know they aren't" isn't a good reason to go around saying they are.)

The whole plant is edible too! The roots can be dried and made into a healthy tea, the leaves eaten in a salad, the flower buds sauteed with garlic and butter, or fried, and the yellow flowers can be fried, or made into wine, jam or a honey-like syrup!

As much as I hate seeing dandelions pop up around my yard, watching this one grow was actually quite beautiful to witness. I'd like to thank the creator for making it (I meant the video maker, but the all mighty creator of all living things, who or whatever that may be deserves some credit as well I suppose lol) & the algorithm for putting me onto a channel I never knew existed.
It’s so weird to see this planted in a pot 😂 I think they’re pretty but they grow absolutely everywhere and it’s hard to get them out of the lawn. We’re always trying to get rid of them before they make seeds. I also can’t believe how many people didn’t know it was the same flower
I love having them in my yard. Rabbits and skunks like to eat them here. The only issue was last year when a mama had her litter of skunk kits under our side deck. 😂 🙂 Luckily they're solitary animals with wide territories.
Am excited.mine is growing in warmer zone this shortday months.no flowers yet coz it is just 8 months .okinawan dandelion planted in Philippine tropics at 280 mts altitude.bit warmer than okinawa but its 21C -30C is cooler than Manila!
I love how they bloom twice
The second time isn't a bloom, its just the seeds
@@bussyhairsoup4298 I know that. But by looking at it it looks as if it blooms twice.
@@samanthamc2817in that case every flower, but most obviously those with floaty seeds 'blooms' twice.

Two different types of blooming..amazing
Well one is the flower and the other is the seeds. There's loads if methods plants used to spread seeds, air travel is one of them
God is Cool 😊❤
