- In one of the oldest videos from Trondheim, the cinematographer has attached the camera to the front of the tram through the city centre. .

A British cinematographer who specialized in traveling around the world and filming famous railway lines had in 1907 made the trip to Trondheim. The film he made was given the Norwegian title "Trondhjem paa Kryds og Tværs" and shows images from central parts of the city center such as Trondhjem's mechanical workshop, Ravnkloa and Bakke bro. The film was shown in cinemas in Trondheim in 1908.
Thanks to Trondheim cinema for the rights to show the film which is part of "Trondheim on film", a series of documentary films from Trondheim that have been restored and digitized by the National Library.

@@TroenderTass Dessverre har det blitt slik at samfunnet er bygd rundt bilen som fremkomstmiddel. Så langt er det ingenting som tilbyr like mye fleksibilitet og nytteverdi for folk flest. Trist.
