I born in Canada of Jamaica parent, and playing Binghi, a descent of this rhythm, it makes me so proud to see your comment of appreciation of "Our" ancestors. Yours and ours, one people. Though what you see is a mix of a few African traditions into one, most of our DNA is Igbo, so thank the ancestors for their contribution to this. One Perfect Love

As a yute, I used to go poco church with my granny. Mi godmother was di Madda. I have some very vague memories of being in these type settings, but my spirit is very well acquainted with the spirits of these drums and the spirits of the ancestors. This bless my entire day. sitting here listening with my 2 yr old daughter. Bless up Africa. Big up Nigeria. Yoruba blood coursing through my veins as we speak
