    That's the reason I have 20 lights that are paid for. Not including tubes and square MCs bricks.

    Great breakdown! Are the products lit only by the lights thats already in the location?

      Thank you! The products are getting a soft top light from the diffused house lights and getting a nice back edge from the amaran light mats attached to the back of the frame. I did also forget to mention that for some of the close up product shots we did also use a tube light with a pool noodle on it to softly extend/wrap our key light. Hope that helps! Let me know if you want more details!

      Thank you Sebastian! I’ll see if I can post some of the final result once the spot is released publicly! It’s always tricky if you can post client work or not but I’ll try my best. Really appreciate you watching!!

    Can you give me an honest opinion on VND filters? Tiffen vs Haida 2+1 … which is better in your opinion?

      Nisi

    • @carstenschlag
      @carstenschlag  10 месяцев назад +2

      Honestly I haven’t tried the Haida, I had the tiffen one a while ago and it was fine but definitely a bit of color shift with that one. I would really recommend the Nisi VND they are the only ones i use now and they are damn near perfect!

    Great life examples. Persevere, Pivot, and Plot-on.
    Maybe working with a body action cam to "assure the customer's interests are fully met and documented" could sneak in some B Roll or BTS... -no sir (or madam) that's not for my short YT Instructional Documentary, no not at all... ✌🏻 thanks for sharing your ways ✌🏻

    How do you ship all the gear?

    • @carstenschlag
      @carstenschlag  10 месяцев назад

      Unfortunately I have no idea lol. I just chose what gear we needed to rent. The production company handled renting the gear and transporting it. Sorry, wish I could give you a better answer! Really appreciate you watching!

      @@carstenschlag thanks I just did a livestream for a tech company in Michigan and when I got there the production company just shipped a road case with all the gear in it. I need to look into that for future gigs so I don’t miss out on gear that I can’t fly with.
