But earlier muse (1999) i would say has some songs with Beatles influence that is audible. This song is a great showcase of how unbelievably talented the lead vocalist Matthew Bellamy is at guitar the use of the wah pedals makes it sound so futuristic and badass and that thumping drum beat

This was from their concert in Rome in 2013. It shows you how popular the band is, as the majority of the audience did not speak English, but still knew all the words to their songs.
They actually sold out two nights at Wembley Stadium totaling 180000 across the two nights. They were concerned that they wouldn't fill one night, but the tickets sold out so quickly they organised the second night too. Try New Born, Hysteria and Plug In Baby from this gig too amongst many others.
I got to see muse in 2007 in NZ and OMG!!! still one of the best live acts I have been apart of. The whole crowd moshes. And for 3 dudes on a stage they definitely bring the show. They have also been around since the end of the 90s. I used to watch them on Top of the Pops and I was hooked forever.. They also have some of the craziest instruments created. The 90's and early 2000's were the years where guitar was at its most technical. Musicians were able to do so many unique things and carry a song with their unique guitar playing. I feel it peaked and has been in decline since, but a lot of great technical rock songs came out of this era.
45 years old,. concert junky all my life. hundreds of concerts ive been to, from 1989 to 1999 was my hay day. every concert I was there,. rock anyway. when I seen muse 1 year ago, it ruined every concert I ever seen. it was the most amazing show I have ever seen.
Radio head is superior to muse but muse music offers a different style so we cant really compare but Radiohead vocal wise is fare more better. And coldplay is a nice mention their music is soothing.
@@sussychachi I don't know. Radiohead's music is more complex and sophisticated. I love them but can't always listen to them, it's a bit tiring sometimes. Muse on the other hand is always pure ear candy. And after seeing both band live multiple times I have to say that I would rather go to a Muse concert again than to a Radiohead concert.

I got to see them just as they hit the big time (they're massive now) and there was only a crowd of 3600. My friend & I got right to the front. We were completely deaf for 2 days. Absolutely worth it.

Diamond Head's Canterbury was definitely up there for me, even though they weren't as skilled as Queen.

I’m pretty sure that clip is from the live album / BluRay ‘Live At Rome Olympic Stadium’, which for me is one of the greatest live album / videos ever released. I implore you to watch the whole BluRay from start to finish, it’s easy to understand their reputation as one of the greatest touring bands on Earth. Brilliant stuff!
