Actually Italian Univesities are teaching the Turkishness of Etruscans. In contrast in Turkey they don't. That's quite paradox.

Etruscians were Pelasgians. They were related to other Pelasgians such as: Illyrians (Macedonains, Epirotes, Dorians in Sparta) maybe to the Thracian too, but not to the same extent.
Greeks were Ionians and Ionains were Semitic. They were more related to Phoenicians and other North African tribes.
Pelasgians and Thracians fought alongside the Trojans and Aeneas settled in Etruscian land after its city in Troy was destroyed.

Interesting, if you listen in at 2:51 he says it is closest to finish and hungarian, the finns and Hungarians are a Turanic Peolple as the Turks are and Hungarian is an agglutinative language like Turkish so the Etruscans must be of Turkic origin.

Turkey is the only country that includes a sizeable percentage of Asian and African haplogroups not listed in this table (A, ExE1b1b, C, H, L, O, R2) representing 8.5% of the total. Haplogroup L alone makes up 4% of the Turkish population.
Haplogroup L is associated with South Asia. It has also been found at low frequencies among populations of Central Asia, Southwest Asia, and Southern Europe along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

In 900BC Turkic people still lived in Central Asia, but I think the Etruscans were proto-turks as they spoke a language close to turkic languages, which is related to Finnish and Hungarian. One shocking similarity to Turkic culture is the legend that their leader was fed by a she-wolf, just like the Turkic legends. Also in ancient Turkic tribes women were held in high regard. Considering the DNA match to south-eastern modern Turkey and herodotus's claim,Etruscans could have been a turkic people.

So far the only etruscan descendants have been traced through pagan religious similarities to the northern parts of the carpathian mountains. They were believed to be ran out of Italy by the romans in the first century by invading countries killing them for there wealth and precious metals. They agape to Hungary and later were killed off by the huns in the carpathian mountains after escaping the romans. They also predicted there own demise through there pagan rituals. They believed they would only live 600 years before their extinction. and it happened to them as they predicted. Also their culture was the basis for european culture advancement. they taught the romans to build chariots and to build armor and mold different steels like bronze and steel. they taught the french to make wine. They taught the world to use coin as trade. they taught the Mesopotamians to build see worthy ships that could cross the oceans that made it to the great lakes and mined millions of pounds of copper out of islands out of norther Michigan and Illinois 2500 years ago. Most of the culture of ceremony and entertainment of fighting for entertainment was also taught by them. Also the way we give people surname like the way you get your last name by your father was taught by them but changed by the romans, the etruscans used the mothers surname for the children instead of the father. The etruscans also introduced writing and trademarking to the world, but their history was lost because they veiled more about writing and cataloging death and the afterlife like the Egyptians than writing about their current events.
