What some great playing! Could you give me a few tips on how you mic up your drums, as I'm in a band who mic's up the drummer for our in ear mix and it doesn't sound as good as how you recorded here. thanks!
Thank you for the kind words! Nothing special, sm57 on Snare, D12VR on Bass Drum 421's on Toms, and AKG C414 overheads. Drumset, heads, tuning and the room are more important than the mics. I'm not familiar with doin in-ear sound. I do only recordings with my drumset in my room with always the same mics. And i have nothing from my drums in the in-ears for recording.
