Not better or worse, just a completely different approach and energy to the original. I personally like both versions. It's always a good feeling when one of your favourite songs get covered and you genuinely like it. It's usually not the case.

Martin Del Carpio nice. I’m guessing Yow put in a little melody to his delivery? All the Jesus Lizard have that brilliant but kinda atonal vox. Andy Gill pushed him to do more effects and “proper” singing for Blue

I found that song quite a decent and powerful one (and it's a really great fan of Joy Division wh'os talking) Why do you hate that cover version? It could be interesting to know your reasons.
I used to play a burgundy Rickenbacker bass. I saw some thing in emo trademark back in 2000. Three people. A bar bet. I don't even remember the wager. I finally gave my Ricky to a Vet for 20 bucks at the Frolic Room. I,m a military daughter. It was the least I could do.
