My loved one was treated appallingly by her memory care facility. If we cant care for the general publics primary health care, how can we care for our vulnerable populations? While there are a lot of places to point fingers at, we also have to begin to make better decisions for ourselves in our daily nutrition, exercise and emotional well being.
An emergency program can be implemented as soon as possible through education (school gardens from primary through college, social media and all means of media), reorganization of organic production of food!!!
Forcing people to change their diets will not work, incentivizing people to change their diet will work taking all the drugs out of the food that is processed will, but by the same token when they do that, they will increase the price of this stuff and many poor Americans cannot afford it.I went to go to a health food store to get vegetables and stuff and it was so much more than the regular store that economically speaking, it didn’t make any sense. I hope that with the incentives that the government could give or oversight that through the food industry itself that perhaps the health of this country will get better.
