The Rule of 2: 1 Master, 1 Apprentice was created/started by Darth Bane. If you havent read (or listened to) the Darth Bane (Audio) book trilogy, you must! Its one of the best pieces of Star Wars material.
@@coletrain583 I'm assuming that you are saying that the audience doesn't know their characters and I'll agree to that statement. A lot of people got confused with this show but those people never watched Rebels so I get not being invested in the show. Like watching The Mandalorian was cool but when you've watched Clone Wars and Rebels, it's just amazing
@@gilot19 I did. And only Ezra (save for his statment regading Sabine as seeimingly just a friend, which I found both baffling and contradicting, considering he still flirts with her even after that) and Thrawn were done right. The rest were just done terribly.
Star Wars Ahsoka! Is likely going to be LucasFilm's last chance to make the general audience care about Star Wars! As overall Star Wars is on a spiral of diminishing returns haha

There was another once an apprentice that was made back in 2008 around the same time ahsoka was made.
He was trained by Vader though not Anakin. Also he's not Disney canon.
