A small trafo may use a slightly larger value as lamination surface area to air per amount of core mass is larger. A large trafo say about 250 VA should use a smaller value, say, 2,5 Amp.s per square millimeter. Regards.

This guy broke all the rules of transformer winding. He is calculating the turns per volt of the transformer by 42/Area, whereas the real formula is N=1/(K*Bm*f*A)[K=constant, K=4.44) Here Bm stands for flux density(1-1.2 web/sqm for normal EI Core) f = frequency in Hz A = Area in sq-m N=Number of turn(s) for one volt.

For toroidal transformer is not 42 but under 42 , 30 is good . We use 42 for traditional transformer with E and I , Ok
