If Patient's policy covers , then need to understand the service billed with POS 23 (Emergency Room), If YES then need to call payer and reprocess the claim. IF NO, need to bill with POS 23(If service done in EMG ROOM). Note: Please note if PAT policy doesn't cover ER services and if no other payer found to cover, then patient responsibility for payments.
