Dryer hook-up completed on my end

I got ths dryer in September of 2007. We used it for just under or about 2 years total. I put it in my storage container after I filed for divorce and it's been sitting there since, waiting for a home I was hoping to build some day...that day is finally here! I drilled out the mounting block outside, used the old exhaust pipe that was almost the perfect length ( cut off 3 5/8" inches) and adjusted the angle of the elbow on one end...foil taped it solid at all joints and silcone sealed the exterior damper to the wall block. All I need to do is schedule my interior gas connection and I'll have a functional l place the washer...leaving it out until the gas line is connected. I am glad to see this part done and get some use out of the dryer that once was. I guess this is one way to make a dryer last over 10 years...store it for 12 and then hook it back up again!
