i still remember very clearly what people said about IZONE when the line up was announced "this is going to be the worst group produce has ever created" "the members have no talent, charisma or chemistry together".
and i remember how, at some point i, while watching each one of those girls become a member of IZONE, decided that these girls were worth, that they would make me very proud one day.
IZONE is really one of a kind, the way they connect and complete each other even though they never trained together before debut (can you believe they actually competed against each other?)
the way they recognize their flaws and use it as motivation to improve and how much they have improved, this is amazing, it's magical.
And seeing so many people recognizing their hardwork and their talent makes so happy.
Their chemistry goes far beyond their performances. It's so weird to think these 12 girls could make it this far and have this level of understanding with each other when they all came from completely different backgrounds

@Lauren Osolinski Not exactly...? That would mean every member is an official centre for japanese comebacks (or at least eventually). For japanese they do a rotating centre, in theory if they promote long enough, all members get a chance to be center. Kkura still remains the most searched in Japan of izone members and has the highest individual sales in both Korea, china and Japan, but minu has been increasing as of recent (good for her) with the most recent comeback.

I agree with u. I too didn't stan Iz*One for the longest time, cuz I knew I was going to cry when they were going to disband. Ik I'm still going to cry, but coming with them through the journey is and will always be worth it.
I think one way to look at it is that we should pursue happiness for right now instead worry about what might be coming in the future. Look at our world right now, being happy now is the worth more than anything.

Yeah I’m glad I got over my fear of stanning them because i didn’t want to get hurt. I realize now that not stanning them when I had the chance would hurt me way more. They may not be with us forever, but I’ll always remember my time with them fondly and be thankful for that.

@@doomray2468 girl groups from Producer series. Boy groups are a different level and the members can do solo work on off times. You can't consider Girl Groups and Boy Groups in the sameway because the sizes of the market and how they make money. Only 4 girl groups can make money the way boy groups can. Mamamoo, Twice, Blackpink and Iz*One. It nothing against the other groups it's just the markets. With the shift to marketing more girl power/girl crush of 4th gen marketed towards girls it's still a smaller market. Each new gen is made for the 12 to 14 year old looking for their own discoveries and loyalties. The success IOI members goes with the their own talents not their connection to IOI.

Yena is just a force to be reckoned with. The woman is an all rounder and even that is not enough to describe her. She just knows and does her craft with such art and power, she is seriously so awe inspiring. PD, nice to know Yena is your bias, she is mine too. You should see her in variety shows too, a natural comedian, she will make you laugh nonstop.

it is really hard, as a dancer, the overall dance and basic movements were easy for me to learn quickly but cleaning it up and looking over the small movements is hard af lol
I've been dancing for almost 8 years now. I always prefer doing the complex hand movement than big and wide movement, because it's less tiring.

Staning Iz*one is more than just admiring beautiful faces, selling millions of copies or breaking records in the kpop industry. Iz*one teaches many people about values things in the world. Friendship/family bonds, how to express feelings, and the most important is to appreciate every second that passes.
Realize that all the works Iz*one that they create are born out of it all. They wouldn't be the group with the best synchronized dance without strong ties. Their music, songs and lyrics are so powerful because they are so pure in the making. And yes, they have a deadline to teach us how to cherish time and create as many good memories as possible until their "d" moment.
Becoming WIZ*One is like being a parent watching your kids grow into their role, facing hardships and difficulties and eventually being successful.
stanning izone really taught me a lot of life lessons especially regarding treasuring the things you love and knowing theres might be a deadline for anything in life and you have to try your best to enjoy it before it ends
The hand movements in nako and sakura's part.. same with hitomi and hyewon, they're doing their choreo from la vie en rose up to ssots
I'm late to this. But I'm a former dancer/dance instructor and I literally busted out laughing when you commented "how the F* do you do this for 4 min straight?!" The smaller more intricate the choreography, yes the more difficult it is. And those little movements have to be so precise and exact in order to see what they are doing so it doesn't look like a sloppy mess. That is a lot of time spent in rehearsal doing it over and over again. Those girls have some strong wrist muscles now!
PD slowly realizing more and more of the greatness of this video/IZ*One by watching it again and again makes me happy as a fellow WIZ*One. They put so much work into song and video it's amazing. Also praising my bias Yuri, PD a man of taste. Edit: Panorama is definitely up there for most powerful, Fiesta would be a second for me there. for the second question it is honestly really hard to choose a favourite Title Track, Panorama got the recency bias but Fiesta is really good too and holds a lot of meaning for IZ*One/WIZ*One. But for now probably Panorama for me.
They changed choreographer this time. They have female choregrapher in la vie en rose, violeta, fiesta, and secret story of the swan but this time its a male choreographer

My favorite IZ*ONE title track is still La Vie en Rose... it's just, i don't know, it's so beautiful and gorgeous and calms your heart... the choreo and the girls' hair styling & make up are so stunning... the song is calm but also hard-hitting at the same time, and it's super catchy and anthemic, perfect for a sing-along with your friends... at the time, i don't think there was any other girl group who did the same concept, so it was just a breath of fresh air for the industry as well... and overall at the time of the release i was just so happy that the girls were finally debuting after following them throughout the whole Produce48 (for Sakura, it's even way back from her HKT48 Melon Juice days)... and i was just relieved that they did a concept that was elegant, beautiful, but also sharp for their debut, a foundation for what was going to be the group's overall unique concept.
also, since you asked, Chaeyeon is IZ*ONE's main dancer, she's actually my favorite idol dancer ever, I think she's just incredible ! but I agree that Yena is unbelievable in this choreo, her center part when the last "spotlight" of the song hits is so powerful !

I couldn't agree more on the Nako part... she's been my bias since day one and she was the one who made me ult IZ*ONE. Her voice in La Vie en Rose IMMEDIATELY caught my attention by how different and cute it sounded, and with each comeback she proved how amazing of a vocalist she is (especially in the b-sides where she gets amazing high notes), and how she's literally in the top 3 of the group's most stable members, delivering all her lines live while dancing whenever she has the occasion to.

They deserve each and every praise you give them to the fullest. The growth blows my mind with every time I see this performance over and over again. Especially Yena, from La Vie en Rose until now she stood out without stealing the spotlight. If (and In my fantasy their disbandment doesn’t make sense but I gotta mentally prepare for them to be done someday) they disband, Yena is probably the one member (next to eunbi and chaewon) I can see being a really thriving solo artist. She’s so versatile, an amazing dancer and vocalist, her presence, her expressions. I now know why she was one of my favourites during PD48 and my bias since the beginning. The list might have had some additions but from her rap in La Vie en Rose until now - nothing but greatness. ♥️
Still, IZ*ONE has an incredible cast. All of them developed so much and we can see them becoming this wonderfull artists and women in general.
PD just told my life story lmao, I was watching MAMA too and I*ONE came up (I was enjoying the whole show because I am at that multi place where you know a enough to love a whole show ( if u know u know) and I was vibing SO hard to SSOTS and was like " do I like this that much!? " and then panorama came and CHOI YENA stole my heart, right then and there. next you know I fell on a rabbit hole on Twitter searching for the "bun girl of izone on mama" lmao, and now, i stan.
I just find it so funny because everything pd said about knowing about them since debut to Nako the angel, to freaking JO YURI and being mad I took this long to stan, like I related to e v e r y t h I n g, it's just amazing.

IZ*ONE is truly a gem, like really one of a kind and my heart is so happy whenever someone expresses their genuine love for IZ*ONE because that's what they deserve. Like what PD said they really had grew so much, from music to stage performances. Personally I think one of their greatest strength is having so many all rounders + everyone's individual strength is shown in various ways. Their chemistry as a group is visible on their performances too, and I love that I can always feel the power and elegance on their performances.
Choi Yena... fell in love with her since day1 of pd days and she still never fails to amaze me every single era. I am genuinely curious how much this girl will grow more in the future. Happy how her confidence had grew, too, over time.
And Jo Yuri, she's so dangerous. Not a fan of fancams but her's on panorama and sequence!!! can't help but watch them and Chaewon's. Jo Yuriz domination, i want to see more in the future.
So happy got another wiz*one content creator, oh you are going have iz*one content for a long time, and I am sure there will be kind wiz*one to give you suggestions. I'm yena-biased too and everytime it comes to her part, it becomes impossible for me to not replay it over and over again from the hand snap, to the take-on-me and the powerful turn at the end. I agree 💯 that she is sooo powerful. When I saw that turn for the first time and her head swirl move, I had goosebumps. Just look at her flying up there. Absolutely divine.
It's definitely better late than never to learn to appreciate IZ*One! But you know that old saying:

I have to admit I was sad that you weren't that fond of LVER/Violeta at first too but then seeing your reaction to Fiesta really gave me hope that you'd come around, and this video was basically everything I wanted HAHA.
I think you nailed every point in your digest of 'Panorama'. It is possibly their best song due to how it feels like a culmination of everything they've gone through up to this point, both Choreo and Music wise. It might not be a favorite song to some people but you can definitely understand why 'Panorama' was THE title track (If this was their final song then it would have honestly been the best send off for them. I'm still praying for some miracle to happen for their contract).
And I also think you were spot on in that IZ*ONE have evolved into one of the best groups out there right now. They started off strong and they honestly have just been getting better with each comeback. Their achievements since debut are already legendary and I have no regrets calling them my Ult Group.

as a dancer, i know a genre to choreography called 'urban' which moving based on lyrics, not beats/instruments, and mostly in old-school kpop choreo using this urban moves, but recent groups also mixing this move with beats move. as ini iz*one case (and basically all idols) they moving with remembering tempo of each beats or lyrics, and because there r 12 people there, if one movement done 12 times will make an illusion of complex hand works :) and that's what we called 'canon' movement

What I love about Iz*one is their concept. Very feminine but with powerful and energetic choreo and songs. They are so cute and young but the quality of their performance is always top notch. I guess that’s what happens when you put top tier girls from different companies together and form one showcase group. It’s basically an all-star team if they were a sports team.
