I felt like I was the only one who had this feeling about the traitement of ireah!
also something that really surprised me was the way the judges "criticized" ireah after the performance of doesn’t matter, I was really expecting positive reviews but it was not the case.
btw your line up for a potential 2nd season is amazing

all of those groups would rock the show! personally I would like to see vav bc I don't think they're doing good after baron's departure, and myteen bc they were of my ult groups and illv never forgive mw for what theyve done to them🔪🔪 and also jbj95!! and noir 🥹 omg my semi ults I miss them sm
I don't think UNB will do it since they are a project group from the start and most of their members are already back of their group/solo...
i would also love to see some A.C.E in the lineup as well. They are CRIMINALY underrated and it is SO sad.

I agree that the final two rounds felt repetitive, though I did like the idea of the third-round songs being assigned at random and the teams had a risk of receiving a song that may be difficult for the team to digest, but show follows how they overcame that, like with DKB. I thought their story was interesting. This might have made the show longer, but kind of wish they didn't do eliminations before the 3rd round, or at least showed how all the teams prepared for their songs first, especially the rookie groups, who may have been their first-time. I think more of focusing on that challenge could have been fun, and I think it would have the two song-match contrast more obvious since for the final round the songs suited the remaining groups better.
I have been disappointed with the lack of international reach of the show. I think JBTC should have been more diligent with providing ENG/CHN/JPN subtitles. Though, it does seem like the participants have gained enough popularity for a second chance and groups like 7:00/MASC/7US gained the confidence to try again. Now that the Seoul concert is over, they seem to have gotten a good audience and the Top 6 seems to have enjoyed it. They confirmed a Busan concert for June. I am wondering what JBTC and Peak Time have planned for the participants. Like will they become a troupe that has consistent concerts together? Are they going to send them on a variety show?
Season 2: I would love a season two. The show seems to have done well in certain aspects, but seeing how Peak Time is pushing merch and albums for the concert to fangirls, I wonder if that's where the main source of profit. If so, I wonder how successful a gg version would be? If the next season is for males again, I would be curious who would come out, but I hope Peak Time maintains the variety of contestants.
There were some disappointing aspects, but overall I had so much so fun with the show. I am rooting for these contestants' future success.
the show has its downsides (yes I agree w u, there was possibly an unnecessary 1st elimination round and they could give more exposure to all the eliminated groups not just to 24k and bdc) but its inarguably the best survival show coming out in the last few years. lets hope they fix some of their approaches in the second season!
I agree with pretty much everything. The thing with song composition, though... if there's talent involved and interest from the artist, it could be great, but not necesarily, while giving them songs from producers that already have tons of experience assures that all the songs will be more or less equal in quality and chance to catch attention for all the groups. That and time. For the previous rounds they had a lot more tine than for the last one, it seems. I was thinking, to change things up maybe do a new version of a song already of the group? A chance to inprove on a song that's already associated with them. Though that could be complicated for the team 24 lineup...
As for Ireah... he also became my fave from Masc (discovered them thanks to the show) but I think the thing was, Heejae got a lot more showy parts in songs (all the intros and singing while on the floor) and he talked a lot more, so he got more attention. Same thing happened with most of the groups, the quiet ones don't get camera time...
In any case, I hope the tour does great and we see and new season of this show soon enough!
i think there are always a couple of members interested in music pd or at least in the song writing aspect and with jtbc they could get help from producers to get new songs like fr vanner always wanted to do a sexy concept and perhaps by producing a song with that concept would be half of the job done since they won the show and have the money to do the rest (mv stages and such) but the group's song revamp would be cool too! but then there's team 24 😂
as for ireah maybe i was reaching, hes mt fave and ik he's the quiet type but there were some comments from the judges that kinda pissed me off, ofc there are always members that stay in the shadows but that happening to a duo? 😕 idk

I agree the quiet ones tend to get less screentime, but they even cut his screen time during their performances. And i think they should work on their parts distribution, make it more balance for a duo

- the ireah treatment pissed me off. The editing and camera work for him during My sea and doesn't matter stages were so bad, they literally avoided filming him during his parts, didn't give him an ending shot for the final stage, didn't even use a solo pic for his Wave fancam's thumbnail, and he was the only one that was treated like that wtf🤬 it was annoying bc his skills and performances are on the same level with heejae, but they treated him unfairly
- i love the songs for 3rd round but not the ones for the final round. They were... mid. But i feel like the teams got too little time to self compose new songs, prepare and practice new choreos for the final
the ireah erasure was real like I get the spotlight they gave to heejae bc of his interesting backstory but ireah is so talented and we actually saw him grow as a person and singer on the show and the show didn't even bother to show that 🤨 as for the songs totally! The third round songs were so much better than the final ones, basically the only ones I liked were the ones chosen by team 24 and team 20
