Hi Jess - what makes you think you are not on the side of the fools? For example after 30yrs of 5yrs to save the planet we still have 5yrs to save the planet. You are lectured by billionaires that its your lifestyle that has caused this and that you need to change... not them.
Take Trump.. threat to World Peace. We had four years of peace. He said no new wars. That's what happened. Under Biden 2 new wars Ukraine and Palestine. Trump warned of both.. pulled out of the Iran deal saying they were using the money to fund terror in the ME. Biden as with the UK paid money to the Iranians. Biden armed the Taliban. Trump warned the Germans and the EU of the dire consequences of Nord Stream 2.
The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears, it was their final most essential command. George Orwell 1984.

"41 Reform candidates befriending the Leader of British Fascism on Facebook" ... Seems rather on-brand for them! 😂🤪
They are out & proud now, but fortunately I don't think that is who the UK is and we've been telling them constantly in the last 4 years by routing this iteration of the Tory Party across the British Isles.
DON'T vote Reform-UK as they're not good people, & tactically vote against the Conservatives to make them cry! 🤩

We've already got an insurance based health care system, it's called the NHS & if it was given all of the money we've already paid into it & maintained properly it would be running as it should, instead the Tories have been syphoning off hundreds of millions every year by giving huge contracts to privately owned companies they have shares in.

Nobody from the working class votes Labour, except by force of habit or indoctrination. And for good reason. Socialism has always been an elite project to control the masses, or rather to conceal the power of the individual among the very people who need the State the least and make them depend upon it. It is far far more evil than any imaginary 'fascist' this lolcow can conjure up. Orwell called it out in the thirties. And these Fabian clowns with their luxury beliefs are orders of magnitude more detached from reality than his contemporaries.

As a previous poster pointed out, the NHS is already an insurance based system , we pay “national insurance” to fund it. The difference between the NHS as it is and a privatised insurance system is when you’re diagnosed with a debilitating illness under the NHS, it will provide a consistent level of care. Under a private health system you will be denied cover when your premium is renewed or be asked to pay an extortionate amount of excess. The NHS is an honourably based social contract, yes you pay but equally and minimally. A private system is immoral, based on greed and profit and there’ll come a point when many will not be able to afford it. Just as with Brexit, if you lose the NHS you’re throwing the baby out with the bath water. Please don’t do that.

Great video. I think that Labour needs to tighten press regulation when they get in. The fact that Reform Ltd get so much airtime in the media is a disgrace. And they should arrest Johnson, Gove Mogg and farage, plus a few more I can't be arsed to think about, for what they have done. It is the media who are to blame for the rise of farage though, unchallenged as they crave ratings and those viral clips.

The one point I'd make about an insurance-based healthcare system is that the countries that get to do that have other expressions of socialist thinking elsewhere in their society - better workers rights, nationalised infrastructure, tighter regulations. *We don't have any of those* buttressing our society. The NHS is basically the only significant piece of socialism we have left in this Thatcherite hellscape.

Oh and the sooner our newspapers arent dominated by Rupert murdoch(no pun intended) the better. Mind the fact that more and more people are kinda seeing through the Murdoch Bias is a good thing I still recall when we had no news on Facebook for a week due to Zuck and Morrison (previous liberal prime minister)fighting it out.

They don't do well in elections with first past the post because the voters see the local candidate and don't want to vote for them. I think the candidates are trained in how to be verbally abusive. it was farage who fawned over the Truss budget because of the level of tax cuts included, now farage has a manifesto, oops sorry 'contract' (sounds like he's leading a company or something) that's also for the birds and full of economic unicorns. Also Health insurance is a scheme for the privileged , it is an insurance company's wet dream and a litigation nightmare. Coverage plans, payment tiers, exclusions, clauses, exemptions the list goes, basically costing a fortune to cover the maximum number of eventualities, so its russian roulette for lower income families.
The NHS is on its knees as are many people, but the NHS was working before the tories got the keys to, it can be made to work again, for everyone. If Farage were to get his way, then it would also be a tory win, just not their doing/
I would say be careful what you wish for and try and know what you are voting for, to non-reform peeps. don't just dismiss him, he and his politics are dangerous.
He can't be permitted to make this election just about immigration which he keeps attempting to do and getting rid of the tories is no longer enough. He needs to be called out just as Starmer and Sunak are on poor and evasive answering of questions, all politicians need to account for what they say and do, including Farage, it is not enough to treat him like a fairground curiosity because it brings in the ad revenue.

Why Channel 4 would do an Immigration Debate to platform Richard Tice, I have no idea. Why they didn't call out his racism and xenophobia, I have no idea. Quite why they platformed a Tory, who clearly has no idea which party reduced the Police force and closed down courts wholesale under the guise of efficiency savings over the last 14 years, I have no idea. It is abhorrent that Channel 4 would set up a debate that panders to lies, racism and xenophobia, first pandered to by the Tories and Ukip in 2016, and not bother to call out a single bit of incompetence, misiniformation or outright lies expressed in their "debate".
