  • Roughly once a month, the NHRR sees a freight movement beyond the switching territory in Ivyland/Warminster. The J930 Stone Train serves a quarry in Wycombe, about six miles up the line, at a truck-to-train loadout on the main in true old-time shortline style! In this video, we catch the power arriving in Wycombe to collect the consist of CSX hoppers in the early morning mist, to drag them to the loadout for the hours long process. We then meet up with the train once again later in the day, as it arrives back in Ivyland and switches out onto the interchange track.
