I love how RV manufacturers are releasing 2025 models knowing the market has slowed and they are hoping to have 18 months to sell current models. That said, it's a Thor so no way. Are you kidding me $152K for THAT OMG they are out of their minds.
THOR PLEASE LISTEN, make a model where of the benches is a Dinette! I really would want the shorter side to be a single seat facing dinette that can drop to make another bed/full mattress if you need to.

Not a fan of the all wheel drive and removal of a true 4wd system, also the 4 banger is a cause for concern. I deff prefer the 19L 2024 model
The AWD system is much more capable than the the pseudo 4x4 system (remember that system had an open center differential only and only could send 35% power to the front. Unfortunately the name 4x4 shouldn’t have been used imho)

I’d rather have the extra $50k in my bank and customize the rig overtime. And yes I own a 2022 Sanctuary with nearly no issues. And the ones we had Thor was pretty amazing at getting things right. I’d buy again.

Why are Class B’s so expensive when you get so much less?
To each his own, but wouldn't have one. i think they are too small and too expensive
Not to take anything away from the sales guys here or General RV, but if you're looking at one of these class B Mercedes, do yourselves a HUGE favor and go for a Revel, Storyteller, Jayco Terrain, custom up fitter or anything else but Thor. Though the Mercedes part is great.
Because of all the quality issues, I will NEVER buy a Thor!

Hi Matt and Wil! My dislikes are the shades, the toilet, and the small refrigerator. My likes are the bathroom, how spacious it is and the height of the ceiling. Thank you Matt and Wil!

I like the sprinter chassis but I’m not confident in the 4cylinder turbo engine. When these vans are built out, they weigh more than 9K lbs. I’m not an early adopter so I’ll wait see if these have any problems.
They have been used for a couple years in Europe. And on bigger 3500 chassis too. It’s a better design than the old venerable v6. Especially since it supports B20 diesel.
What engine is in the 2024
@@macbook802 all 2023 Sprinters (not Thor model year) have the new 2.0 twin turbo with 9 speed automatic; and AWD system
The 2L turbo diesel is a very good power plant. The worst thing about MB vans is the weird throttle pedal. This new engine seems to have better response and power than the old six cylinder. You are correct about the weight though. Pay attention to the load in these, maybe check into Van Compass suspension upgrade. It will ride better with their dampers.
Already Engine Check light on,diesels are too complicated, nothing but trouble
This is a great, spacious, comfortable layout for a Mercedes Sprinter 144wb. I like the generous feeling of space and the flexible bed-couch combination.
Compared to many other 4x4 adventure vans, you don't have a "head nocker" interior here, which is very cramped and you're constantly bumping into things. I also like the curved, premium furnitur design. --> Well done, Thor Industries!

You should mention that the Mercedes chassis comes with the Mercedes Me app that gives you remote locking, vehicle location with geo fencing and a number of fluid levels. Great feature that took me 2 years to realize😂

Fix your quality control and customer service problems To many of us Thor means cheap construction and poor workmanship!
If a vehicle bills itself as an off-roader or overlander, and has big side steps like this, then I know they aren’t serious. It’s not going any more off road than your average cross-over - nicely graded fire roads.
Matt, your reviews are awesome, but the voice is not clear sometimes due to the wind and other noises, please use a bluetooth microphone.

@@rvhome5599 not too new. It’s been in use for years. Regardless it’s a great engine. And better than the v6.
One of only a handful of Class Bs with a comfortable seating area and a “usable” bathroom👍but $151,000 is still pretty expensive for a plastic toilet, cheap shades, a 1 burner cooktop and a mini-fridge🫤
